I'm the new winrar.

I'd actually like to see this Mushroom City thing, lol. If I had the patience to learn how to do it, I'd definitely make it into something similar to where the Ewoks live in Star Wars, except that trees have been substituted with fungus. It'd definitely become my new home.

I had a pretty special moment when I tried to land atop White Gold Tower with the Akatosh mount the first time. Given the amount of time I had to fall to my death, it's amazing I didn't think to quickly fast travel somewhere before I hit the ground, instead, I splatted on ground below. Why couldn't they have put an actual solid "roof" on the tower?
Yeah. I suppose they figured it'd be pointless since players never access it unless they've modded the game or used a console command. Either way it would have been nice. Always wanted to stand up there and just look out over everything. Suppose I can use tcl and not really notice a difference in the first person view though.

This is me, winning.

People tell me she sounds like a robot though.

This thread is certainly a fun one. The description is indeed hilarious.
While the true evil mushroom's appearance was an accident, I must say, as a modder, I can't resist when someone says something like this:
I would love to see a mushroom the size of the White Gold Tower. I can imagine something that size just destroying a city by falling, lol. A man can only dream.
Wish Granted.

Not sure what exactly but I've been in the 600-700 range before. Of course I murdered armies and armies of city guards and innocent passersby. Shoulda gone for 1000.

Can't you raise your level by going to prison and having your major skills reduced?

Yeah, she typically stays in the room but I know that I've had a few problems when asking her to follow me, and then leaving that room. It takes her a good while to figure out how to get back lol. I partly blame the fact that there's two entrances to the master suite. It probably gives the AI a hell of a time trying to figure out which one they're actually capable of getting to.

I'm still actively playing Corrine, but I started my most random character yet, Filthy Farquer. I just copied Glarther's face and hair onto my player, made his hair a little bigger, and outfitted him with just cloth pants and a club. Basically he just does whatever...begs for money, kills horses, steals things in broad daylight then tries to run away, and always winds up in jail. He recently recruited a dark elf from CM partners who wears only pants and a rusty iron dagger, his name is Rotten Ramon. Good times...
Sounds kinda like when I did my Misadventures of Mister Man (at the time, Man was all I could come up with as far as a name). I'd go around with a small group of companions whose names were unimportant and we'd do pointless things like that. A personal favorite is picking the Arena lockbox at high noon. The funny thing is we actually managed to get a few heists down when I had done my best to plan them out so that we'd fail every time. Either way, it's fun to just mess around like that.

If you really want to prove how gutsy you are you can actually take Umbra on at any level. You just won't be able to complete the quest associated with it since you need to be level 20 to start it. It can be quite a challenge though, and a lot of fun, so if you're looking to try something new I say go for it. I haven't managed it yet, but then again I'm sticking to it Vanilla-style. No armor or weapon mods, and no God Mode or god spells. It's funny because through the course of the battle you'll start seeing your combat skills rising. I got unloaded on once and jumped like 5 Heavy Armor skill levels.
Well worth it though. The challenge is fun and I look forward to the day that I manage to actually come out alive.
If your acrobatics skill is good enough, there's a broken pillar in the room where you fight Umbra. Jump on it, then whip out your bow and snipe away at her. She will NEVER touch you.
Yeah, I knew about this but I don't want to use it. It'll be much more satisfying to charge in head on and get the job done. There's no fun in it for me if I'm out of reach. May as well turn on God Mode.

Well the first one I can remember doing is the one with the fisherman that gives you the Jewel of the Rumare. Wasn't a bad way to start out either. I can happily say I've never drowned in Oblivion, lol. It's nostalgic though. Even though it eats up time, I still listen to all of the dialogue.

Well with the whole "sir" thing it could just be a subtle joke the rest of the Blades make. When you meet her yourself, she's more than a little bit rude. Like dang, I didn't choose to get locked up. Cut me a break. Don't need to walk around threatening to kill me.

It wasn't frustrating for me but when I was playing on my friends PC I went to Cloud Ruler Temple, made Martin unessential and slaughtered everyone! Ruined his game.. lol.
Lol, and never again can I consider myself one of the world's biggest jerks. :D

Oddly enough I have never met this woman, and I tried making a point of running into the various nutjobs scattered around the world.

Hmm, well I've got a few I like. I mainly suggest finding a race mod or two, just to mix things up, and body mods like Roberts, Exnems, or HGEC can do wonders to make characters less... fugly. Also am quite fond of the Natural Weather mod. Night time actually feels like it's midnight, and when a Thunderstorm rolls in I actually feel like I need to get to somewhere sheltered. It also throws in some "ambient life" such as butterflies, birds, etc. Helps quite a bit with immersion imo. Armor and clothing mods are something else I'd look into. Tda Armory and the Apachii stores are two that I quite like, and they have some exceptionally well done armor in them. It far surpasses what I've seen in the vanilla options.
As mentioned by Elsarian, though, there's just so much out there to choose from. The selection seems almost endless. You've really got to just try a few of them on your own, because you know what you want better than any of us do, and experiencing the mod first hand gives an immensely better idea of what it is than a short novel explaining it. At any rate, I hope you find some that you enjoy, and always be careful installing mods. Some cause conflicts, others are buggy, and incorrect installation almost always messes the game up. Make sure you understand what you're doing before installing a mod.
It may also be worthwhile to get OBMM and OBSE (both almost definitely necessary) as well as Wrye Bash. They're very supplemental to the modding process. Good luck.

Yeah. I tried the large area invisibility spell, but all it did was have me look like a total fool as random creatures materialized right in front of me to try and kill me. It always seems good on paper, haha.
-
The immersion was never an issue for me, but he's definitely got a point with the copy-paste world.
-
Can your computer actually run the game?
-
Yeah, I have to say I'm not fond of companions either. Even if I set the CM Partners to add more baddies around, there's still never enough for myself and two companions to take down. Aside from that, they're prone to dying when they leap out in front of me. It can be incredibly annoying.
-
Lol yeah, it does look like fun. Of course I also don't mind walking into the middle of the West Weald, getting a ton of enemies to swarm me, and casting a powerful large area frost spell at my feet. I essentially freeze half the forest, so it's not likely that the paralysis I tucked in with it will mean much, since they're probably not going to get out of it before they're dead.

No, I'm Spartacus!

I take it all with a grain of salt, but it's a riot to watch.
