I currently play with Project Nevada to up the realism in the game because I hate the feeling of being this god like player that can take on 5-10 nps by myself. I enjoy small gun fights with faction and faction play in general. Not a big fan of the major factions but if there is a mod that lets me actually "join" them, then thats cool.

Looking to get back into NV and really need some suggestions/answers to questions: Any realism mods (sounds, more damage, ect)? Wasteland defense vs RTS? Should I possible resort back to Fallout 3 with the 2 questions in mind ^? Thank you!

Any mods out there that add a little more realism to the game? Let me elaborate. First off, I am not talking about getting shot once and dying realism, as this would take most of the fun out of the game. What I am talking about is something a little different. The best part of the game, to me, was when I teamed up with the powder gang and took over the starting town. Why was this the best part? It seemed a little realistic. It was around 8v10, and it ended up turning into a pretty good firefight. I liked it. There were no missle launchers, tesla cannons, plasma rifles, ect. I think only the old man had a laser pistol. The rest of us had small arms and melee weapons. As the game progresses, things start becoming a little dumb. I end up having to fight 30 people by myself in many occasions and so how winning? To be honest, I am not really sure what I am asking for here. Maybe someone can figure out what I am looking for and point me to a mod. I would deeply appreciate it,lol.
