Unless you're going to play the newest games with DX 11, get a GTX 460 / 470. Also, I agree with urbex about the CPU. If you're playing some really demanding game, you wouldn't even need a i7 yet, you can get a i5 for less, and still maintain smooth gameplay, even for demanding games.

Hmm, you could have gotten a GTX 470? The price for this card is about 250 - 350 $, and it's stronger than the GTX 460. Well, the GTX 460 isn't a bad card anyway. Good gaming ;)

What you need is a new processor, I would recommend a i5 or i7, but they are expensive. Then you should get another 1 GB of ram and a new graphic card + PSU. It's not cheap, and it would almost be easier for you to buy a new computer, try to order one of those costum built computers, I am sure they can offer you a good computer for a good price.

You have to attack the NCR and Legion troopers, and then you should not have any NCR or Legion armor equipped. That will make them attack you, when they see you (Note: They wont go hunting for you, you have to find their bases).

Europe, Fallout: Winter Apocalypse or something like that.
