Just wondering, do non-texture mods, such as New Land mods (ex. Beyond Skyrim) effect game performance in any way and areas that are not part of the mods? Thanks.

I had that problem before the 1.3 patch. Turning Steam to Offline did the trick. Hope that will work for you too.

I had crashes around Whiterun as well, but after I got the 4GB mod it didn't crash. Didn't really test the exact spot yet, but it seems to crash generally less with this mod (Actually hasn't crashed since). Only thing I noticed is that the mod makes the loading time longer and after it loads it is slow for about 10-30 seconds. Just wait and it starts to run smooth again. Skyrim ran great on High Settings, and OK on Ultra setting with below specs but after about 1GB+ mods (game looks indescribably better with texture upgrade mods), it started to run slow (annoying to play), so I am planning to upgrade my computer. This is what I have (get something a lot better than this.. lol. Intel ® Core i3 CPU 540 @ 3.07GH 3.07 GH 4.00 GB RAM 64-bit Op. NVIDIA GeForce GTX 460 So wondering if anyone could post what I could possibly upgrade (like a new graphic card or new motherboard with Quad processor or just get a new comp). And what is this about two graphic cards running? Didn't even think that was possible.

I was wondering if people can post guides and tips for novices about modding. I see a lot of people are already creating .esp's, and there are so many Mods that I would rather see as esp's than texture replacers. Thanks to the veterans who can be of great help to this thread.

Storyline and the idea sounds great. Couple things off my head.. It would be nice if u can make it so that u have to kill more dragons. Killing 3 dragons is too easy unless they are elder dragons. I would love to see it in one handed as well as two handed. That's it. Thanks.
