  1. I apologize if this is something with a simple answer that I overlooked lol. Ok, so say I take a vanilla static object like a castle wall, export the mesh and edit it a little in gmax, then export it as a nif. It displays perfectly fine in the game, except for one thing....The original vanilla wall has this shaded look to it, and my edited one doesn't. Mine uses the same textures as the original, so I'm not really sure why it looks different. Does anyone happen to know if maybe there's some property I have to edit in the nif to get it to look like that?
  2. I tried packing the sound file into a .bsa and using bsa redirection in OBMM, but it still doesn't work
  3. I'm trying to add my own custom ambient sound to a region. I already know how to get a sound fx to play in a single cell, but I want this sound to play in a group of exterior cells, which is why I'm adding it to a region. So far the only way I can get the game to play my custom sound is by replacing an existing oblivion sound by renaming my file, like for example "ambr_swamp_day_lp_01.wav" and putting it in the corresponding folder, which then changes all the cricket sounds of that type everywhere in the game to my sound. When I try adding a new ambient sound fx and dragging and dropping it onto the Sound tab in the Region Editor, nothing plays in-game. I have the Chance set to 100 and an X for each type of weather. Is there something else I'm missing to make my sound work, or is it just not possible without overwriting the game's existing sounds?
  4. So I made a custom hair and it looks fine in game, except that there are weird lines on the mesh, but only when the light hits it certain ways. If anyone has experienced this before, would you happen to know if there's a way to fix this?
  5. Hello, sorry to be a bother, but a long time ago I believe I remember seeing a mod where your npc companion had the ability to resurrect/revive you instead of you having to reload. I can't seem to find it now, and I have no idea what it was called either. Would anyone happen to know anything about this mod?
  6. Thank you for your suggestion, but unfortunately it still didn't work. Is there just no way to turn off the Moonshadow Blossom effect? I really want my character to be a moonshadow elf, while at the same time I have cm companions who require the script-based esp, so if I use the no-script esp version, I won't be able to have those companions =/
  7. Okay, so I'm a total noob, but I did read the readme thoroughly and it says to turn off the Moonshadow Blossom effect even with the script, that you click the little paint thing in your inventory called #MoonShadow Options. So I do, but nothing happens, just a message saying "You cannot equip this item." , no option menu appears either during or after exiting the inventory. Could anyone perhaps tell me how I do this? =(
