  1. If you enjoy the graphics on Morrowind the way they are then more power to you. I personally like the feel of the vanilla graphics, but I enjoy playing with mods as does any TES fan. I just wanted to relay something about the Morrowind Overhaul - Sounds and Graphics mod, which is an amazing mod and it completely revolutionizes the Morrowind experience. BUT: IT MAKES MORROWIND RUN LIKE s***. So, in case you haven't heard of this handy dandy mod called Optimizer Textures on the one and only Nexusmods website, you need to cop that s***. I installed the Overhaul mod and I was running at 23-28 fps, and my system is definitely up to par for this game. I actually intended to used the Optimizer to compress my texture files on Skyrim to see if I could squeeze a few more fps out of it. Rest assured it worked for Skyrim, I gained around 10-15 fps, and no more stuttering with all the mods. I used it on morrowind after the graphics overhaul and it raised my fps substantially. I don't know if that is common knowledge, or if this has been discussed already. but I guess it's better to be safe than sorry. After all, who uses the search bar anyway? 0.o Links to the mods I was discussing previously: Morrowind Overhaul - Sounds and Graphics http://morrowind.nexusmods.com/mods/36945 Optimizer Textures (please read the description, it's not that hard. But if you don't, you're going to mess some s*** up.) http://skyrim.nexusmods.com/mods/12801 Happy Modding! -B
  2. Alright, so I was playing oblivion and I got bored. So I went to TES Nexus to find a new mod, and noticed I didn't have immersive interiors. So I installed it, but couldn't get it to work. It crashed my game every time and I wanted to get it to work so I removed oblivion and all the folders, keeping my downloaded mods in a different folder. I went to re-install and it doesn't do anything for several minutes, then it will just say "oblivion launcher has stopped working". I restarted my computer, and it still wont let me open the launcher to re-install it. Has anyone had this problem or know how to fix it? PROBLEM RESOLVED: Not sure what effect this could have caused it, but I put in a totally different disc, let the computer read it, and took it out and put my oblivion disc back in. Voila! Computers are so strange sometimes, don't you think?
  3. Hi there, let me start by saying that I'm new with the whole adding mods thing. I wanted to try to install Deadly Reflex v6, and saw all the things I needed to install before I installed the Deadly Reflex v6 mod. I started with OBSE. I installed it, extracted it to a folder I made for it inside my 'Oblivion Mods' folder that I also made. everything was fine, and I put it in my Oblivion directory folder with OblivionLauncher and Oblivion, but when i try to launch it with OBSE, it tells me something is wrong and to make sure I installed it into the same folder as oblivionlauncher.exe and oblivion.exe. It is in the right folder, OblivionLauncher and Oblivion is there, and they are .exe files, but for some reason it wont read it as a .exe file I guess. Does anyone know anything about what I can do to fix that?
