Hey everyone. So I've never modded anything before but all of the mod managers on this site made it look like it was really easy to do. The only mod I want to get working is the Oblivion XP system but I feel like I have hit every possible problem imaginable. I tried using the Nexus Mod Manager for Oblivion. I had to find a youtube video to figure out how it worked as I couldn't make heads or tails of it myself but eventually found one. Whenever I tried to activate the xp mod though, it would reach 50% exactly and then the mod manager would crash. Even after uninstalling nexus and re-installing it, the same thing would happen every time at exactly 50%. So next I tried downloading the Oblivion Mod Manager, found a youtube video explaining what to do, and followed it to the letter. After following the video, the manager claimed the xp mod was now active with a blue square in the corner indicating so. I went in the game and the xp mod wasn't present. Please help. I've been at it for hours and I can't find a single post or video of anyone having similar issues. I really despise the in-game experience system and only bought the game on steam because I thought I could easily use one of the mod managers to replace it. If I can't figure this problem out, I might return the game. Could someone please explain to me in the simplest way possible how to get the Oblivion XP mod working?
