  1. Hello all. I'm having problem with one custom armor I'm making. I use the mithril cuirass as my primary armor and dwemer's pauldrons as an add on. I use this method. I open the dwemer cuirass and the mithril one then copy the branch with the pauldrons and paste them into the mithril cuirass. usually everythings goes fine with other custom armors that I have made when I paste (they goes on top of the original ones then it is easy to go copy and paste over ) With this combination (cuirass - pauldrons) when I paste they go somewhere around the armor. When I copy and do the paste over stuff they go on place , they are ok into the inventory screen but into the game the pauldrons are flying into the air near the player. See the screen I have provided. I tried to do the Transform -> apply procedure but then in game the pauldrons are not even shown into the inventory screen (and of course they are still flying arround the player) Can anyone help me :) I'll really appreciate it . :confused:
  2. I can't make this working and I'm getting frustrated. It looks like it is very simple but I just can't do it. Quest making and scripting isn't my field of work. Can someone make this for me ? PM and I'll explain everything about it. It is a mod which adds a brand new sets of armor (2 actually) Also a lot of weapons and a completely new temple building. I'm doing this for a month now and i just don't want to release it unfinished without the simple quest to go there and find the stuff.Again the idea is when the player starts/load a game a letter to be added to his inventory. It describes the place where the items are and why this mysterious person decides to give them to the player. Also the mini quest is for the player to find the place (the letter gives a clue where to search for the temple/house ). Then the player starts looking and as soon he finds it out and enter the quest is finished. FULL CREDIT will be given to the person who is willing to make this "quest" Please PM :) Any help will be most appreciate :)

Ehmm yeah but I forgot to ask about this part ---> if ( GetStage myquest == 0 ) && ( Player.IsInCombat == 0 ) && ( GetStage MQ01 >= 88 ) What is MQ01 ? there I should type the name of the quest or what ? Sorry about all this stupid question but I'm not good when it comes to this part of the CS and I can't find information about how to create such a simple quest.

  5. Thank to both of you. Now the quest starts as soon as I open the letter but I'm receiving until I open it for a first time. So basically if I don't open it I'll get hundreds of letter until I decide to open it ? Any ideas how to fix this :)
  6. Hello all . I'm making a simple quest but i have run into some problems from the same beginning. I've made a quest and attached to it a script that will give the player a letter. I want also the quest itself to start as soon as the player reads the letter. But i have the following problem. I'm non stop receiving the letter in my inventory. Also the quest stared with the first time the letter was added. Here is my simple script. ScriptName Questname Begin GameMode if ( player.IsInCombat == 0 ) && ( getStage CharacterGen >= 88 ) message "I have received a mysterious message" player.additem MysteriousMessage 1 endif end also I put a script to the letter itself scn mysteriousletter begin onAdd player setstage myquest 10 end And I also have stage 10 (the first one) The idea is as follows. The player gets the letter out of nothing. Reads it and then the quest starts. The goal is to go to a place (house) and as soon as he enter the quest is completed and journal entry says "I have done that and that so i now can do this" Quest Completed. I searched the tutorial in construction set wiki but i can't get it to work. Any suggestions ? :)

The truth is that I was modding for myself . Let's say as a hobby and when I have time. Then I decided to share my work with this great community. Now in few sentences let me describe the story :) Sylvan is a captain in Reman I army. The story described into one of the books is about the great battle at Pale Pass In 1E 2702 year when the Akavirians Invaders sweep through Tamriel. The other story is about Akavirian legendary weapons "captured" after their defeat. Also the second armor belongs to Tosh Raka’s himself before his dragon "mutation".   8. Hello to everyone. I wan to announce my upcoming modification for TES IV Oblivion. Sentinel's Akaviri Lore Expanded (Current status - ver. 0.9) Q: OK dude but what is the mod all about ? A: It is a modification that adds new weapons and armors to the game. Q: What kind of weapons and armors ,and why "Akaviri Lore Expanded" ? A: Glad that you asked ! It adds two new full sets of armor , 16 new weapons (4 of them unique katana swords with their own story) , a temple (place to "live") and three new books. Q: Why books ? Nobody likes to read books anymore ? A: I didn't want simply to put the stuff on the ground so I decided to "integrate" everything into Cyrodiil's history if I may say so. Don't get me wrong I'm not a writer and I don't pretend to be one. Q: When is this modification going to be ready ? A: I hope to be ready till the end of January. Q: Any screenshots ? A: Well of course , but just to get the idea :) The full set includes 3 different cuirass , greaves , boots , gauntlets , shield , cape and a sword ) Some example of the akavirian weapons.
