  2. Capital Wasteland Ferry dock to Point Lookout Tobar the ferryman Boat is MISSING he's standing on top of the water near one door , nothing eles around , just off the dock.   5. I just thinking of finding the Files "Patches/Bug fixes" in the first place , It would be better for all if Nexus could have a separate category for ALL files, that either fix bugs or are a compatibly patch for mods..
  6. Most of the issues players face with FO3 is the ORDER in which mods are INSTALLED in the fist place. What I would like to see is a definite list of all the MAJOR/POPULAR MODS including the "compatibly patches " and WHAT ORDER TO INSTALL THEM. IE: MMM install first followed by FWE, This would help everyone . If you didn't know this then problems will be more likely to happen , and using BOSS to sort out the load order won't help you. The files of MMM have been already overwritten, by FWE. Weather & Lighting mods like "Fellout," & " Enhanced Weather" are another example which do you install fist, ?..to get the affect you want. To stop most problem with CTD or missing icons, and other such FO3 dramas . Working out which order to install the major mods in the beginning would solve most of these problems , before they start, thus allow BOSS to sort the correct install order, for the "load order" to work in FO3.
  7. The Nexus Forums need to be updated.. The COMPATIBLY patches (COMPS) are all over the shop. Gone are the days when FOIP Nexus page was the one stop shop , for comps, to get your Mods working together. Most of the New updated Mods work better with one of these "RE-Mastered" "Blackened" "Paradox" COMPATIBLY patches. The issue now is which one these "COMPATIBLY patches" are the best and which one is current, up to date. As I have been updating my FO3 with some of the latest mods ,I have to re-think which COMPS are the best. As the Nexus forms stand now it's impossible to work this out. A COMPATIBLY patches (COMPS) Category NEXUS DEDICATED PAGE , would be a start , ALL UNDER ONE TITLE. There you could see ALL the COMPS. This IDEA would help Authors, as they upload their "new" comp they could see at a glance others who have uploaded similar comp version, The authors then can see if their work is been supersede or its been duplicated, and adjust their description as necessary all information about COMPATIBLY patches (COMPS) under one Category. NEXUS needs a ONE STOP Category FOR COMPS. You need a new COMPATIBLY patches go to the "COMP CATEGORY in NEXUS and there they all are . No -more all over the place drama. If the COMPATIBLY patches (COMPS) your looking for is not there , then its GONE and dusted , end of problem , get the newest one that is there.

But I didn't come here to debate this. :armscrossed: Remastered doesn't "play well" with FOOK2 because the Remastered team stopped supporting patches for that mod. Same goes for the authors of the PI version of EVE. For good reasons by the way. Just to make one finally point, I know all this , but I not interested in hearing CAN"T , The post is about the load ORDER & the install ORDER , this is what I ask for information on. I just finish saying that Remastered won't work & PI , and I know why. Can we get back on topic , Or answer the ? about the Missing Menu icons. this would be a help

  10. Update: I Mix the load Order around no CTD The game now starts, but DarNified UIF3 icon has gone ,had this problem before with F.O.O.k2 FWE So can't test the Load Order until I see a menu and can load a game. lol Would like a better solution other.than "before"

I had the game working , with Order F.O.O.k2 +FWE + MMM these mod 5 follower no crashes , Once in a rare instant the game may lock for a few seconds but that's after playing for a few hours and getting into fire fights with those eve weapons , so good. so I don't know why ppl keep saying it won't work . No Fo3edit errors, that is always a good start. This load order above is a bit of the old working one, BUT I have updated and add some knew mods, and in doing so stuffed up the delicate Load Order . This includes in what order the mods are installed; this needs attention. Any Suggestion on this load order ? Anything in the above New load Order that should be replaced with others or better ones that you know off, or anyone reading this. Any suggestions on the install order with these mods. ? . f.o.o.k2 +fwe + mmm these mods I know what order. F.O.O.k2 +FWE + MMM works with the Old master fix esps I have them all. Have heaps of the old esp that work with FOOK2 The knew Remasters esp don't play well with F.O.O.K2, also the Paradox Ignition EVE does not like the Fook2 eve, Eve standalone does. Thanks
  12. Yep was not the install load order as just installed. Posted before I looked though, I thought those "doubles" were unchecked , but you know , busy export paste post .. eat . So editing the Order list above. Boss I know , but practical load order knowledge is what I'm after or alternative to the mods or patches, So any suggestions ? Project Beauty, HD and the Project Beauty esm are a copy and a rename. Then reason being is this FOOK+FWE+PB+MMM.esp need the old named Project Beauty.HD.esm , BUT the knew HD version is just Project Beauty.esm. Hence the two ESM Seems to work. :)
  13. I have had F.O.O.k2+FWE+MMM running before with most of these mods, Recently I have updated these mods and the compatibly patches where I could. Also I add some knew ones like Destruction and the HUDS a few others. I have some errors in FO3EDIT after I try to make a MERGE.esp. So now need some FEED back on LOAD ORDER. :) Before I start messing around with esp.   15. Hello, and i am sorry for bringing this thread up from the grave. I have been tweaking around with Fallout 3 mods and managed to successfully play, with only a few crashes for the moment, with both FWE and FOOK2. I am one small step before managing to completely finish my tweaking, and i finally found this post and what i was looking for. So, my question is: How did you manage to put the [X] Unofficial Fallout 3 Patch - Operation Anchorage.esp [X] Unofficial Fallout 3 Patch - The Pitt.esp [X] Unofficial Fallout 3 Patch - Broken Steel.esp [X] Unofficial Fallout 3 Patch - Point Lookout.esp [X] Unofficial Fallout 3 Patch - Mothership Zeta.esp before the [X] FOOK2 - Main.esp [X] FO3 Wanderers Edition - Main File.esp files? And if you are not still around, can someone assist me by telling me how he managed to do that? Using my NMM i cannot move them to any spot, as it blocks me from doing so. Thanks in advance. FO3 Mod manger to set load order .. FO3 Configator for setting in game Search Nexus for tools , Post final load order when finished If your esp are saying they are esm , in FOMM .You won't be able to move mods around , because esp load after esm DO THIS: Copy FO3Edit.exe, and rename it FO3MasterRestore.exe Run it it will turn the "fake" esm back to esp as they where. you can set your load order then.

  17. -------------- Talk to Fook2's compatibility expert "blove" he can help with FWE and Fook issues better than any one. Best fook author known here. Fomm instructions. First: IF and only if nmm is not working for you, you need to uninstall it. once it's uninstalled, you need to run windows update and select Only the .Net updates to repair windows 7, also Right after you do, you need to reboot your PC. once that's done. Go into the control panel, open "programs and features." /......In there, in the upper left corner you will see "Turn Windows features on or off", click that. scroll down to "Microsoft .NET Framework 3.5.1" and expand it. uncheck anything in there so you can remove the strings out of your registry file. The strings point to Old Nt based programing for 2k, this will fix the bug nmm has. Once that done reboot and re-run windows update and see if it picks up the data loss. If it finds no more .NET things needing updating your good to go, close. .....If it does find the packages now, it will be different and you need to download just those updates again, this time there will be more. All done, reboot. install fomm older version first. if available. once your done installing that, download this update to kill the Crash bug fomm has. ( Fomm update ----------------------Break where you install fomm is in the games directory, Do not allow the Quem directory to form, wrong file path for 7. at install, simply remove the extra directory so it reads " C:\Fallout (your name or omit.) Game\fomm the download update, extract to it's own folder and copy all of those file into the new fomm folder, choose yes to over write. Run fomm, allow it to update, do not allow it to scan for mod updates, or replacing file information when it asks. How fomm updates it's template which is still good by the way. It you click on the help tab, there you will see the update feature. Once this is done, your loadorder problems will no longer exist on your machine. now you can use the auto sort function and things will work correctly. Best I can do from memory.   21. Fallout Remastered - Project Beauty.esp I always had conflicts with Project Beauty this Fallout Remastered could be a different version ? Broken steal seems ok for me , but I have had crashes in one area many times. Like i said have not played in a while . so i can't be sure where it was .at the moment I can't start my game seems the steam update did something . But will get it working , just have to think it out :) . pleas post to this thread as I would like to have this worked out

There is a list of tools , like Boss that can help too , At the moment the nmm and fomm are both giving me errors and won't load , been while since I started this up , So I'm unable to give you step by step instruction simply because I cant' remember myself. I wanted to load this up first. I know that I use Fomm to sett load order. but good luck and post your final mod list that is working.

I have been tweaking around with Fallout 3 mods and managed to successfully play, with only a few crashes for the moment, with both FWE and FOOK2. I am one small step before managing to completely finish my tweaking, and i finally found this post and what i was looking for. So, my question is: How did you manage to put the [X] Unofficial Fallout 3 Patch - Operation Anchorage.esp [X] Unofficial Fallout 3 Patch - The Pitt.esp [X] Unofficial Fallout 3 Patch - Broken Steel.esp [X] Unofficial Fallout 3 Patch - Point Lookout.esp [X] Unofficial Fallout 3 Patch - Mothership Zeta.esp before the [X] FOOK2 - Main.esp [X] FO3 Wanderers Edition - Main File.esp files? And if you are not still around, can someone assist me by telling me how he managed to do that? Using my NMM i cannot move them to any spot, as it blocks me from doing so. Thanks in advance.
