  1. Hello fellow Elder Scrolls lovers and modders alike, Skyrim is a huge, amazing game you come back to it and also find something new or find yourself saying "that is so awesome" but something that brought me out of the time and time again was simply the user interface and items menus, It is brilliant sure, but it's so ultra modern it would feel more at home on a Fallout title with a green tint if you know what I mean? mods such as SKYUI have really improved the interfaces of Skyrim and made navigating menus easy and enjoyable, however I am here to propose a new menu style. Who remembers Oblivion?, dumb question who doesn't? Oblivions menus had a sort of parchment like colour however they were clunky and sometimes irritating to navigate through and the emblems/tabs were sometimes rather confusing multiple mods were created and made Oblivions menus amazing, one such menu that really caught my attention was the WZ INVENTORY. this mod made menus GRIDS, with each item, each item featured a small emblem, basically showing the user what the item was, seeing all your items in this layout was so much more easier and user friendly as opposed to large lists that had you scrolling your mousewheel as you searched for items to equip and what not. My proposition is that a modder who is familiar with User interfaces bring this concept to life, a whole new menu, with grids and little emblems for each and every item, new tabs, and a new colour for the menu itself, an image is attached to give you and idea of what I mean, and just how cool it could be in Skyrim.
  2. This is not exactly mod, it's a plea for help that perhaps I can make the mod, I simply lack the know how and modding experience to make a home that I have in mind, In Skyrim and the previous Elder Scroll Games it's evident players want an orderly home, somehwere they can sort there loot and have everything in its place, a bit like a chef's Mise en place. below this paragraph I'll show you what I plan to include within this home, and should you agree with the conceptions expressed, please give me a rate, and if your a modder please by all means add me If your up for the challenge of making the next best Skyrim home, should you wish to make the home with my ideas, and end up posting it, its basically your's you will deserve the feed back and such, I simply ask that you give me simple recognition in the description should the mod be successful. What the home will include -Alchemy Room The alchemy room will be a scenic colorfully lighted area, complete with an alchemy table and an ingredient wall, the ingredient wall will be one side of the room covered in small satchels each devoted to one ingredient, complete with an item sorter so on arrival you can sort your gear and go. 3. Hello Guys Skyrim has already proved to be a very unforgiving game in terms of crashes, freezes, and just problems, many people are frustrated that they have spent there money on this product, and it still won't work properly despite there PC's having the games requirements. I in some case are lucky, my game runs smoothly most of the time, and I have to be grateful that I can actually play whilst others have to wait painstakingly for a patch or an answer to their problem. My problem is Random freezes within Skyrims wilderness, these freezes do not occur in dungeons or houses, or major cities, however outside in the game world whilst exploring I run into random freezes, they last for about 2-4 seconds, and happen every 5 minutes or so (or randomly) These freezes aren't game breaking but they make Skyrim's special experience a whole lot less enjoyable I'm running Skyrim on Windows XP and my PC adheres to the games requirements If anyone has any idea as to how to solve this issue please reply, I hope that everyone experiencing worse problems then my self, can get them sorted and settle down to play some Skyrim.
