  1. Yeah... they seemed a bit full of themselves, but its their site, and their content, so I figure I'll try to contribute 30 "well thought out posts" (maybe I can check out a book on philosophy to help) and then just lurk and use their site to obtain content. I'll freely admit that I'm a fan of their mods, not an experienced critic, so I hope I won't be banned just because I can't write C++. To hell with F3underground, F@##@ to every site that decides wether your good enough to download their stuff or not....and it isn't their content, they decide about who can downloads mods that aren't even theirs Are they your mods? No? Then what business is it of yours? We don't decide whether someone is 'good enough' to use, or possess any of the mods hosted at our site, only who can use our bandwidth. People who upload mods there know that, and accept it. They will upload their mods wherever they want, so if a mod of theirs is available somewhere else, we don't care. Any mod that is exclusive to the Underground is exclusive because the creator wants it to be. What right do you have to have a problem with this? Honestly, the idea that we're perceived as 'elitists' because we expect people to give as well as take is baffling. Do you guys really think it's such an affront that you can't get what you want, when you want, how you want it? Do you know what that says about you? Everyone is welcome there, everyone can download our content, all we want is a contribution of some kind. Does this make us bad people? Does this make the Underground a bad forum? I mean really? Is the idea of giving something back so offensive? Seriously, that's as far as out 'elitism' goes. People who just want to use our bandwidth without helping the site out in any way aren't welcome, and in any other situation, most people would understand this and not vilify us. Why are we the bad guys?
  2. Hell I ain't gonna work on this any time soon. I feel like I've got such a backlog of Mass Effect poo to do I'm gonna have to overdose on Metamucil and work it out with a pencil.
  3. I'm going to assume that you're signed in :P That being the case, I don't know what the problem could be. I'll see what can be done about it.
  4. They're added into the game in a rudimentary fashion - they're inside a locker in the T51B room of Fort Constantine. I don't plan on moving them unless that location proves to be problematic, but I will add a little backstory via a console. The story is that the armours in the lockers are a sample shipment of some new, awesome combat armour designed by a company called ME, which stands for... I dunno. Military Enterprises? Master Engineering? Mass Effect? Whatever. Anyway their military contract fell through for lame beaurocratic reasons, so the armours won't be used, but the samples had to be stored somewhere secure so they wouldn't end up in enemy hands, and they ended up in the storage basement of Fort Constantine.
  5. I've uploaded an alpha package including the four pictured armours. You can get it here: http://www.f3underground.com/topic/83-armo...sseffectmodv0a/ You need 10 posts at that forum to download it, but that ain't hard. Just don't spam :P http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v232/ambidex/meshot02.jpg
  6. It'll probably be uploaded to f3underground.com. And I dunno, I don't use anywhere near that many mods
  7. Getting into that room is challenge enough :P
  8. Assassin and Mercenary medium armours! http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v232/ambidex/mewip10.jpg http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v232/ambidex/mewip09.jpg Still so much to do though :( Btw, I'm putting them all inside those three useless lockers in the T51B room in Fort Constantine. Anyone think that'll cause problems?
  9. The latter I'd say. It's easier to create a new item from an existing template because there's generally less to do.
  10. Medium armor: http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v232/ambidex/mewip08.jpg
  11. No, they'll be uploaded somewhere else. Probably f3underground.com.
  12. This here mod: http://www.fallout3nexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=8097
