    i don't know if this helps, but this person has done all the things i have tried. update has nothing to do with it though, because unlike their last reply, all my settings are ultra :/ https://forums.nexusmods.com/index.php?/topic/4651490-dai-mods-not-appearing-in-game/ "I have tried changing the patch number higher, deleting the patch folder repairing the game and re-merge the mods, I have tried doing a fresh install and merge the mods, plus numerous file swaps and other misc items trying to get this mod to work. I don't feel it would be a conflicting mod issue as the two mods do not necessarily deal with each other, but I'm no expert." and i know it's not conflicting mods, because my save was loading, with mods, at one time :/

    i had been doing that, but i stopped after i hit like version 14 because i thought maybe it wasn't working? so it doesn't matter if the version number of the modded package is lower than the official package? should i keep incrementing even if i get to like, 18 or 20??? thank u for such a swift response! ;O; edit: so i kept upping the version, and it did load the save when i upped it to 13. in which it was the same version number as the modded package version... but when it loaded, none of my mods showed.. :sad: and if i try to up the modded package version, it gets stuck again.... if i up the official patch version, it'll load (but it will only load if it's version is the same of higher than the modded package version) but never with mods :/

    hi there i have a save that i was playing on, and i started that save with mods. when i got to the Black Emporium, i went ahead and remerged to make a clean save, without mods, so i could go in and get what i needed. i left the BE, saved, and exited the game. then i remerged again, this time with the same mods, and started the game. now my save won't load at all... my official patch version is 12, and the modded patch says 13. i have tried changing both the official and modded patch versions to no avail. i'm at a loss of what to do, and i REALLY don't want to have to start a new game for the third time :( (this was a problem from the getgo, and i had just been restarting the character every time i got this load screen.. every time i had to start over because, after remerging and adding the mods to the game after a clean merge to enter the BE, they would never load beyond the card tips you get on a loading screen...) please PLEASE help me, i'm very happy with how my elf turned out and i don't want to have to start over for a fourth time.... not to mention it means i can never go into the BE unless i play unmodded :/ my mod manager is up to date and so it my game. i have tried a repair on my game, and it still didn't work...

    Graphics 750ti Processor Intel® Core™ i5-3450 CPU @ 3.10GHz 3.10 GHz RAM 16.0 GB 64 bit OS plugins in the attatchment i think the problem might be with homemaker because my "clutter" categories are gone and i'm also missing a lot of furniture i think HM gave me. it was working up until a week or so ago--i think some of the creature mods (like the taming one and such) might be interfering but im not sure? :( any help is truly appreciated please... thank you.

    hey guys! so i'd love to have some help with this as i'm really close! so i'm using cbbe for my bodies. i'm using http://www.nexusmods.com/fallout4/mods/7432/? additional cbbe body textures to get the ghoul skin and hand textures on my player. i am also using http://www.nexusmods.com/fallout4/mods/3718/? unique player so that it only affects my character (or so i hope so far--im still just outside the vault for testing). http://www.nexusmods.com/fallout4/mods/302/?tab=4&&navtag=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.nexusmods.com%2Ffallout4%2Fajax%2Fcomments%2F%3Fmod_id%3D302%26page%3D1%26sort%3DDESC%26pid%3D0%26thread_id%3D3383385&pUp=1 play as a ghoul is what i'm trying to get the face textures from. i saw in the comments that someone said they got it working (player with a ghoul face) but it wasn't really explain how, step-by-step (i'm a simple person :P) i have tried taking from play as a ghoul's main file and player only file and replacing files in my femalecharacter folder as well as basefemalecharacter folder to no avail :/ here is what i have so far working in game http://i.imgur.com/NOcS2fw.jpg

    ah, everything is completely fixed!! no foot textures and tattoos on the custom body! it worked! :D

    ah, yeah, the custom presets i made arent showing in the preset menu, but they are in that sliderpresets folder :/ as for the rest, thank you! i will give the manual download a try, ive heard nmm can cause problems sometimes. thank you jimmy!

    ah, alright! so now the npcs legs look fine in vanilla short dresses and only have the toes texture in downloaded outfits. can i fix that by making a batch build with the cbbe vanilla and cbbe body, instead of just build? i redownloaded the tattoos mody and unique body mod also, but the tattoos arent appearing on my player still? (she does have her body i made though). and for some reason, my customs have disappeared from the drop down menus...?

    ok, i got it! i did that and my character actually uses the preset i made (i guess she wasn't even using it to begin with !), but she did lose the misfit body tattoos what can i do to fix the body of the npc's now? they still seem to have the foot textures in clothes that show their legs im sorry for not getting it sooner, you explained everything perfectly but im slow :sad:

    hmm.. ok, just so i know im understanding i need to copy that femalebody.nif that it saved to, change the name to my custom one, and put it in the char folder you mentioned? if so, do i need to do anything to restore anything, such as me hitting save instead of save as? (im pretty sure at first i hit save before i asked for help). im sorry for not completely understanding! D:

    but when i do save as after ctrl+build, even under the bodyslide folder, i didn't see the option for any extension beyond .xml? :( also thank you SO much for your swift replies and help. i appreciate it so much!!

    ah, ok i did everything you said up until going into the bodyslide folder and moving the file... it saved as a .xml document? :/ i dont see any file with .nif (im looking in /bodyslide/sliderpresets as its the place it auto took me to save as when in the builder). did i mess up? :sad: i just checked the bodyslide folder on its own, and there is one femalebody.nif there but i still dont have the option of saving as a .nif extension? it says this when i ctrl+build http://i.imgur.com/PYHjmnM.jpg and when i do save as http://i.imgur.com/qvQnYx1.jpg is there some way to stop it from changing the femalebody.nif? i feel like thats probably where im messing up
