IIRC, resist magic (unlike the elemental resistances) is capped at 80%, so this isn't a way to obtain absolute spell immunity

Well, it seems that for Bethesda "soon" means "sometime during the next month" and "in the next week" "in two to three weeks". At least that was the case with the Dunmer screen, the speedrun and their podcast (which isn't out yet) ;)
-
But how much longer will we have to wait?

I'm Playing Skyrim For 3 Hours Tomorrow, What Do You Want To Know?
istred replied to CrzyFooL's topic in Skyrim's Skyrim LE
Perhaps some details about the College of Winterhold? We know that joining DB & the Thieves requires doing some specific tasks, perhaps they added such a thing for the "mages" this time? And ofcourse werecreatures and vampire clans (and bonuses)! -
I think those were mentioned in the first GameInformer articles (though those might be only a short distance, blink-like teleportation shouts.

Compared to Oblivion, where you basically got a perk each 25 skill levelups (in one skill that is) it's not that much work ;) And how many perks would they need to make if you'd pick one every skill levelup? 90 per skill? Somewhat excessive...
-
Each time your character gets a level, not each skill levelup (that wouldn't make sense ;P )
-
Pete said several times that there will be no such thing ingame. Once you leave chargen, the way you look is set in stone.
-
In the game? Of course ;) AFAIK, we have seen two 1h perks (one makes axe attacks cause bleeding, the second one increases 1h damage (20% per rank, 5 ranks possible) and Pete said one of them allowed decapitations. I'd say most 1h perks will be almost identical to the 2h ones, only the weapons they'd make stronger will be different...

What I want to know is if this is from a book or form in-game dialogue... Book.

The movie is from March - guess why there isn't much new things ;)

Anyone here from the US? According to the users at ESF, Sadly, I cannot get it - anyone would be willing to download it and post the new concept art/comments?

Would you waste money on collector's edition?

I'm also on the "it's too expensive" front. While I would like - hell, love - to have it, with the current price it simply won't happen. Bethesda wants far too much for too little stuff. -
Which makes the best traditional 'Assassin'?

Actually, what *is* magical about alchemy? You mix two (or more) things and get a result - is chemistry magic? In Oblivion it's the least magical of all magic skills (in Morrowind that honor goes to unarmored) - compare it to actually casting a spell or using a soul's energy to enchant an item... On topic - never liked Bosmers, wasn't a fan of Argonians, so I'd go with Khajiit ;) -
As far as I know, when selling a game made for a console you need to pay the company that created it (in this case Sony/Microsoft) a fee - they don't make money on consoles themselves, but from the games sold. On PC there is no such thing, so the price can be lower.

This female Redguard?

The screens we have are of characters made by various journalists - so it's not Bethesda ;)

So, anyone knows Imageshack well enough to get a higher res version of the argonian? http://desmond.imageshack.us/Himg716/scaled.php?server=716&filename=character2e1up1.png&res=medium

Yes all new details - like the existance of Riverwood or the civil war :D I'd say a lot of these is a matter of misunderstanding something or an error in translation - a good example was one of the Polish magazines, where they said crossbows were in and our character was an actual son of a dragon (that is a literal translation of Dragonborn). Get a bow - that's how. I'd say that having to adjust (and not picking up a sword and going through the entire game with it) is a good thing ;)
-
Yet. Most of the changes scream "Consoles!" - the menus, QTE etc. So most likely they will soon announce the console versions...

The chat in question uses the free version of addonchat - creating logs is a "premium" feature...

Can anyone recommend me a good utility to make a chat log (preferably something I could turn on and leave the PC)? Thanks in advance

I know - but there isn't a single book saying that "dragons come from Akavir". For all we know, they could have moved there from Tamriel, and the ones attacking in Skyrim could be completely unrelated to them. Especcially seeing that we can read in an ingame book that all dragons on Akavir died during the Tsaesci - Po Tun wars... You know, I often look up things in Wikipedia, yet I know that not everything written there is neccessarily the truth. The same might be with Bethesda employees and UESP....
-
So - as I thought - there is no official source saying "dragons came from Akavir" (I will not consider an UESP page an official source)? It seems to me that too many people see "dragons lived on Akavir" and draw a conclusion that the tamrielic ones had to come from there...
-
What is the source for "dragons came from Akavir"? I hear that a lot, but I never seen a source for that opinion...
