Project Spotlight: Fallout 4: New Vegas

In response to post #69421897. No. F4VR does have its own Script Extender but adapting the mod to it won’t be too much work. So no, it won’t work in VR. -

In response to post #75438408. I’m just repeating what Meta said here and in his interview with Kinggath. Original NV will be required wether you think it’s pointless or not. -

In response to post #67020241. #67021001, #67065011, #67150896, #67359291, #67361516, #67418816, #67443371 are all replies on the same post. Metamoth directly stated that installer for Fallout 4 New Vegas will only work if you have Fallout: New Vegas. It's just for legal purposes. -

No. Fallout 4 can not use FNV voices because they are stored in a different format. To transfer them they would need to make a tool to covert them, and they did. But they can not release it or even explain how it works because that is prohibited by Bethesda. I don't know how this legal bullshit works and devs apparentyly don't know either but that's how it is. So the only way is to re-record everything. Watch kinggath's interview with Metamoth for details. -

"Recently Managed" doesn't work. The game just doesn't show up fter being managed.

This is the feature that sold Vortex to me. I never really liked VFS' like the one MO uses. They are great for experimenting and testing load orders, but for a final build I prefer to have my mods installed directly into the game. And Vortex can do just that! It literally makes vortex a perfect mod manager for me! And I hope that for many other people too.
