  1. I remember that from ME3 and thought about it for MEA. It just feels like anything that slows the game works against the strength of MEA's combat system. But, if you do wind up attempting this, a friend of mine has used the Frostbite Editor to mod other games which use the same game engine as MEA. https://www.moddb.com/engines/frostbite-3/downloads/frostbite3-editor
  2. The complete set: https://www.loverslab.com/files/file/8253-slave-in-pose-nv-plus/
  3. The Remnant research tab has fewer entries than the others, yet we continue to accumulate Remnant research data even after we've researched everything in it. Is there some way to divert this redundant data to the other tabs, where we can actually use it?
  4. I was looking for a topic that came up in my Google search, "Beginner's Guide to Xedit merged patch/WRYE bashed patch..." And when I click on it, I got "You do not have permission to view this topic." https://forums.nexusmods.com/index.php?/topic/5479362-beginners-guide-to-xedit-merged-patch-wrye-bashed-patch-used-together/ I WAS logged in at the time. Just wondering what was so extra special exclusive about the topic... Thanks.
  5. Kind of a Morrowind noob. I'm running MGSO and that's pretty much all. But in my long first playthrough I'm tiring of the lookalike/soundalike NPCs. Is there any way to at least dress them a little more stylishly? I've looked at several clothing mods, and seen a number of replacers, but I'm looking for a way to match up the clothing to the individual NPC.based on what I thought matched up well. You know, something less generic, more individual. Thanks.
  6. I'm level 77 and I'm still basically flopping at the Mage's Guild and Fighter's Guild. Most of the Guild Halls are like hostels anyway. I keep my stuff in the dead body in Hlaalu Manor, but I don't really like to stay there because there's a dead body and the murder site hasn't been cleaned. Powerful Feather Potions are my vice.
  7. That's something I never see. In fact, through no actions of my own, Morrowind has been quitting cleanly to desktop lately. I still get the occasional CTD, but when quit from the menu it's been clean. I have no explanation.
  8. I have a lightly modded Morrowind installation. Plays okay, with no freezing or lag, has not gone CTD in 11 hours of play. But when I quit after my last two sessions, the screen went black and stayed black. ctrl-alt-del had no effect. And I basically had to hold the power button down for several seconds to power down. Any thoughts?
  9. I'm trying to Download With Manager SkyUI, but the downloads end incomplete and I get this message: Error: http://filedelivery.nexusmods.com/110/SkyUI_5_1-3863-5-1.7z?fid=1000172397&ttl=1490614315&ri=8192&rs=8192&setec=ce66d96cf6bbb004650045a5481e1986 , unable to finish the download. I've tried several times. Does that indicate a problem at your end or mine? Manual download works, but It's been a long weekend and I don't feel like dealing with manual installation.
  10. The cloaks featured in this mod were the main reason I installed it--in regular Skyrim, the cloaks were my favorite part of this mod. But the cloaks are not showing up at all: NPCs are not wearing them, even north of Winterhold. in the driving snow. And getting a Sleek Fur Cloak off a Bandit Chief makes for a nice piece of loot. But, no cloaks. There is a power associated with gear in this mod: "equip the Options: Wet and Cold power and shout to configure" But the power doesn't bring up a configuration menu, nor does it seem to have any other effect, other than hitting "Z" a second time producing the muffled sounder indicating there hasn't been enough time between shouts (or enough magicka or enough stamina). I've posted on the mod page with no response. I'll happily take any constructive suggestions you may have. Thanks.
  11. It hasn't worked for me, at least not on shield plaques. The shield activator is active, but neither of the weapon slots are. I'm able to locate all three RefIDs by clicking on the activators--left weapon is -1, right weapon is +1. But once out of the console only the activator for the shield slot is active. Are the shield plaques that much different than the single slot weapon plaques? Or could I be doing something wrong at a very basic level? Thanks.
  12. Thanks very much, guys. I always prefer getting things right the first try, rather than cleaning up my own mess. I put all my Oblivion readmes in a folder I call Game Info>Oblivion, and I installed the mod using Wrye Bash. TES4Edit didn't have any problems with it. I'll see how it goes when I return to run the game.
  13. I'm trying to manual install a custom race, DK High Imperials, (The mod author recommends manual installation, or at least doesn't mention using a mod manager. ) So I'm checking the folders within the mod. The Meshes folder looks like this: Meshes> Characters> DKImperial> >Eyelashes >Eyes >Head >Ren Hairs >Saram Hairs The files for Eyelashes through Saram Hairs are all contained in these separate subfolders. The Textures folder is similarly structured. A couple questions arise. For the purposes of manual installation, does the innermost set of sub-folders present a problem? Please note: the only other races I can look at are the vanilla races and Sheogorath, which don't have this layer of sub-folders. This seems to be a pretty straightforward mod: a single .esp, a readme, and Meshes and Textures folders. It would seem to be something any mod manager could install. Was manual installation simply the preferred method with Oblivion mod authors ca. 2010? And can the instructions be ignored in favor of using NMM, OBMM or Wrye Bash? Generally, I prefer using a manager. Thanks very much!
  14. I think the console command is sqs <questID>. That should display all stages for that quest.

    Howdy

Long time console gamer--Atari 2600 to PS3. Played text adventures on the Apple ][. But started playing on PC when I saw how much more game you got on the PC than on a console. First game was Oblivion. Now level 50 in Skyrim. I Already had 16 GB RAM and an unlocked i5, so I figured a 4gb GTX 960 plus a carefully chosen keyboard and mouse would at very least cost less than a next gen console. One general question, about where to ask a question... I've got a zillion quests going in Skyrim, and the amount of info displayed about those quests, even by SkyUI, doesn't tell me a whole lot about them (especially MISC. quests) when I think about resuming them. For some reason it doesn't seem to be immersive to have to go to UESP to look things up, so I'm looking for improved quest management, but I'm not even sure what category that falls into, and where to ask about it. Thanks!
  16. A little while ago, a nine year old game I once played on PS3 became the first game I played on PC. I wanted a direct comparison with something I played on a game console. I had gotten the Elder Scrolls Anthology at a local store and installed Oblivion from the included discs. I started playing and added some armor mods. It was fun. Then I saw there were several DLCs I was entitled to if I would just enter the Steam code and download the game from my Steam account. I did so, and on opening the game was greeted with all those several associated quests. And I still had my stats, loot and gold. Happy. But the snappy looking armor I brought in through Nexus Mod Manager was no longer there. And it appears as though NMM still points to my original installation. Can this be fixed? And if so, how? Thank you.

    Hey y'all

I've been console gaming since the Atari 2600. This year I discovered my latest PC build was only a video card, keyboard and mouse away from being game ready. The keyboard and mouse have if all over a console controller in the sheer number of in game actions that can be generated. At this point I'm still trying to figure ways to play faster and easier.
