Should be doable using SFSE. Most mods I've seen for games like Skyrim and Fallout use the script extender to add new keybinds.

But can you put buckets on the heads of Dragon Age 2 characters to steal their stuff? Didn't think so.

Just open the exe file directly if you don't like Steam.

Many people don't have home internet connection (including myself) and Steam is known to have occassional connection problems. Just google "Steam won't update". Also many resent paying for a game disc only to have a program try to download the game and be treated as criminals. Any software can and will be pirated, DRM only serves to punish those who legitimately purchase the game. ^^^ This is so true. I can't count how many times I've seen the argument "But everyone has internet and if you don't get over it!" No, not everyone has a reliable internet connection at all times. I shouldn't have rediculous limitations on a product I paid for just because a small number of people don't want to pay for it. :wallbash: You don't need a constant internet connection to play games on Steam, just to download games, which has already been shown is unnecessary for games like New Vegas if you read the tutorials. After it's installed you can completely bypass Steam to run the game or open Steam in offline mode. I personally use Steam almost exclusively to get all my PC games because of the frequent and significant discounts they provide.

I'm just going to get the game when Steam has a sale on it later, so this won't affect me.

Even better: In 18 days, you can live it.

If I was Notch, I would have offered to change the game's name to "The Ancient Parchments: Rim of the Sky".

It's weird because Game Informer had a video where Notch and Todd Howard talked to each other about each other's games and they seemed to get along quite well. I don't know if the video was before or after the Scrolls issue started or if they talked about it because I didn't watch the whole thing, but I still would find it very odd if it really was for personal reasons.

I spent over 300 hours in Oblivion without touching the main quest. The main quest could be beatable in 20 seconds and I wouldn't notice.

There's a little more to it than that, since the console version is optimized for that system's specific hardware while the PC version is less optimized in order to accommodate wider varieties of hardware. Still, this rig looks like it could probably run the game, though we won't know for sure until the official requirements are released.

I'm really concerned about this too. It'll really affect the gameplay for thief like characters if the speed isn't varied with how much your are pressing on the thumbsticks. That and I can't imagine attempting to look around/aim with the right thumbstick if every time I touched it the movement was at full speed... If the movement speed isn't varied for the thumb sticks then I just don't see how it would be feasible to play the game with a controller... Is that how it was in FO3? I recall hearing that that game had better controller support than Oblivion, but I never tried it with a controller.
