  1. there's already a wolf riding mod out there... it's called riding like a boss. look it up. :)
  2. yeah I'd definely use it for sure. the only place where I bathe now is right out in public. you know that waterfall thingy in whiterun? yeah I basically just strip down and then swim around in that water... and of course it has no effect... I just do that for roleplaying purposes. :P
  3. I agree. and it would be nice if you could only do those actions after you visit the bard college and learn those skills there. that way the bard college would actually have a point to it! maybe the more you train at the college, the better your voice and music is?
  4. I tend to think there should be two versions-- a simple one for the everyday folk and one for those who are "high ranking", like rulers and nobles. The nobles and other rich people would have the more fancy stuff like the first, third and eighth picture that I posted. your everyday regular person would have something similar to #4, #5 and #8. At least that's what I think. At any rate those pictures are just there to give modders a general idea of what people might be picturing when they say they want more fur stuff.
  5. sounds great. it would certainly give people more reasons to use the cooking pot in their own homes. :)
  6. I agree, and help the modders visualize what we might want I would suggest something like those clothes: http://ecx.images-amazon.com/images/I/51flZXHXVhL.jpg http://www.honeysucklefurs.co.uk/images/products/20/BLACK%20VELVET%20AND%20FUR%20CLOAKwebpic%20detail.jpg And just so the guys don't think I'm leaving the men out here's some pretty good images which matches up with the clothes up above, making it a nice unisex clothing piece that still looks slightly different depending on the person wearing it: http://www.furinsider.com/wp-content/uploads/2011/05/Boromir-now-with-fur-lined-cloak.jpg http://i902.photobucket.com/albums/ac221/vigocreations/Lord-Snow-black.png Just some inspiration for the modders out there :P
  7. I remember that there was this mod in oblivion, called the actor's ball, where there was this orb in your inventory that you could use and it would open up this menu. In this menu, there was tons of actions and poses that you could do. you could dance, you could do things like do a praying pose, etc. I wish the modder who made that would import it over to skyrim. :P
  8. Hell yeah, I would definitely use this mod. :)
  9. Basically I want new path commands for housecarls like Lynda. I'm sick and tired of her always sitting up there in my bedroom! She should have new sub-route paths that causes her only to stay in her bedroom or downstairs. The same goes for the other housecarls too since how there's chairs in the bedroom that they seem to be in the habit of occupying half the time. so waking up to see them sit there watching me.... ugh. They also should have other sub-routes build in like random sweeping, cooking, etc like other npcs out there. the Housecarls doesn't seem to have those built in like the other npc out there... so they just sit there, eat bread and..... well pretty much just that. What if I want to pretend that they're just house servants? then they don't seem to be doing their job well, eh? :P
  10. I agree. I'm basically a character that has smithing as a side hobby... I was thinking that my character was planning to retire as a magic smith after her adventuring days were over with. :P So naturally she needs A LOT of mannequins to display her enchanted gear that she made herself.
  11. Yeah that would be realistic. :)
  12. A thought I've had for a while now. When the construction set comes out, I hope this mod will be made. I recently brought the most expensive home in Skyrim... the proud sphere mansion. I brought everything I needed for my home from Falk firebrand or whatever the hell his name is. and then I went to check out my home. needless to say I was a little disappointed... none of the placements made sense to me. well expect for the mannequins/alchemy/enchantment stuff. that stuff can stay where they are. problems I found: 1. the cooking pot is so close to the fireplace mantle upstairs that your face keeps on going into the mantle. sometimes it makes you look like you're headless while you cook. I feel that the cooking pot should be moved downstairs, where the second fire-pit is. no problems with clipping or awkward positions then. the downstairs could be converted into an actual useable kitchen, since how most of the spices and ingredients are down there already when you come in anyway. It can be a alchemy/cooking station down there. 2. speaking of food, why the hell are there two dining rooms? there's food on both of those tables, so I assume that those two places are where we are supposed to eat. but it feels kinda weird to have two dining room tables. there should be just be one. 3. that storage room downstairs with all those crates? the straw on the floor alongside the cot? DO NOT WANT. I don't care if it's the servants' quarters, it's a ugly, useless room. you can't even use most of the crates for storage. it should be a empty room where you can mount weapon racks into the walls and place chests all around. heck, you could even turn this room into a library with bookcases all around? So to sum it up... Falk firebrand is a SHITTY decorator! so is some of the other assistants, actually. So I'm thinking there should be an alternative to buying from Jarls' assistants when you want to fill up your home with stuff. How about a Furniture store? That way you could have more control over how you want your home to look. you could even make proudshere mansion have those Dwewer chairs and such. so all of the homes could be completely blank when you first purchase it... and allowing you more freedom for where you want your cooking pot placed, etc. :) when you place items down too you could also have a option to "lock" it in place so that it doesn't go all over the place when you bump into it. :P
  13. hmm, that sounds like a nice alternative to using our houses as bases/storage for our characters. espeically for those who don't want to shell out gold just to buy a house so that they have that extra storage. :P Edit: it would be nice if those same guards/gangs would also stay at your houses too. you could have them act like they're just the maid or something. espeically for the large home called the proudsphere mansion where it looks like it'd need servants. :)
  14. you can marry people of the same sex in game already. I even tested it out with one of my male characters. lol of course, most of the men are kind of ugly or old. there's literally only like four or five handsome men who are around the same age as our characters that I've seen. So gay men alongside hetro women would have less choices than Lesbians or hetro men, who has a wide variety of pretty women to choose from. not really fair, eh? and the children thing would be interesting. although having children that actually grows up might be too complicated for some modders out there. maybe better to just let that adoption center in riften actually let us adopt children? that would be a good alternative for those who doesn't want raunchy stuff to happen just so that they can have a family.
  15. I so agree with you guys. I would also like it for there to be different types of lanterns... from the cheap-looking one you see in game already to fancy glass ones like those ones: http://img.tradeindia.com/fp/thumb/0/153/007.jpg http://casadiseno.files.wordpress.com/2011/06/sunburst-glass-lanterns-pier-1imports.jpg I think the fancy ones would be pretty good to have for homes. that way instead of torches or those stupid horn candles, you would have those pretty lanterns hanging around the home and giving your home some lovely mood lighting.

  17. it seems that we both want a lot of the same things. :) the only thing I don't agree with is the house upkeep part. The only house-related things I want is for there to be an actual furniture store where I can buy mannequins, sword display props, etc. The trophy props things I could put up on empty walls, that way I have more weapons decorating my walls. :) pretty rugs would be nice too, since how the rugs in game right now I'm not too pleased with.
  18. umm.... that's going to look really weird and out of place in skyrim. it's a freezing land where almost everyone dresses in furs. if your poor sailor girls aren't going to freeze to death first, then they're gonna get gawked at a lot for wearing fashion that hasn't been invented yet. :P Although I suppose that could be fun to use for making videos or something. :P
  19. I found mercurio to be one of the first hot guys in skyrim that I saw, even if he was a little bit of a douche-bag. well, not really that bad at all but he did have a tendency to sass me a lot when I asked him to do things as an companion. so I married him... and then all of a sudden his personality did an 180, and instead of whining about things he's more dovey-lovey. which was even more surreal to me, since how at the wedding he basically acted like he didn't give a f**k, when he promptly walked away after it was over. it's as if my sassy mercurio was exchanged for a stepford husband in game! come to think of it, it would certainly explain the mysterious disappearances of spouses reported everywhere. maybe they were being brainwashed by Mara! :P
  20. lol. well I mainly said that because I didn't want it to go "over the top", if you know what I mean. I don't mind some perverted stuff going on but not when it happens 24/7. I also have family and boyfriend coming over while I play the game at times, and I don't want to be caught buggering my vitural husband/wife. so it would have to be slightly censored... something like going up to your spouse, and saying: "Hey, honey. mind if I ask for a rumble in the sack? *wink, wink*" and if your spouse consents then the screen goes to black. afterward the spouse would be like: "Hmm, that was nice". maybe that mod could have different levels for the player to customize themselves? like how much perverted stuff they want to see, etc. if it's completely uncensored then they see their characters having full-blown sex, etc.. while people like me who worry about being caught in the act would just only see that black screen with the text describing what was going on? just a thought.
  21. I don't know about the lock-box option. why not just talk to the merchants for your share of the gold? at any rate, investing in certain merchants sounds like a great idea. maybe even help set up a store? that's what one of the modders did for Morrowwind and I had a ball with that. I even ran my own shop there when I wanted to wind down a little bit from all that adventuring. when I went off adventuring, I had merchant assistants who helped run the store for me while I was away. Now that our spouses automatically run a store after they marry us, maybe there could be a mod for us to help them with that? like help them buy a kiosk in the marketplace, etc. this would also be a good way for us to sell off all the junk that we picked up while adventuring, without running into that "this merchant now only has 0 gold. are you still sure you want to sell this item to them" problem when we sell our junk to other merchants. we could just put it into our own spouse's shop, and tell them to sell those things. or just tell them to hold certain things for us if we're not sure about selling a few things.
  22. So I've been playing Skyrim for 90 hours in game so far and I've certainly noticed a few things about the game that could be improved somewhat. here's my list, and reply if you agree with them. 1. improve the face customizations at the start. there's too few eye options, etc at the start of the game. and all of my characters always end up looking middle-aged. is there a way to make them look younger too, please? 2. somebody please customize the children of skyrim so that they all look different? they all have the same character models and the same damn face, and it's really kind of jarring when you're going for immersion. plus it makes me keep on thinking about how there's probably some dude going around impregnating all the women of skyrim. the kids also don't look like anything like their parents at all. I swear I saw an dark elf parent with one of those children too... which was a white nord boy. 3. more marriageable candidates with more personalities. why is it that almost all of the male marriage candidates for women are super old or just plain ugly?? This is supposed to be a fantasy game, so aren't we supposed to have hot, attractive guys to marry? it's not fair that nearly all of the female characters are attractive while the male characters aren't. it's like the developers wasn't really thinking about the females who actually play this game. I might as well as be a lesbian character in the game if I want to marry somebody attractive. I would also like be able to marry a Jarl. gonna marry up into the high society world, after all. ;) 4. speaking of marriage... it's a little off putting when the characters just require you to ask them if they're interested in me and so on forth just to get married almost instantly. I would like some new characters who actually require courtship before they get married. not some quest where you go off and kill something for them... just something where you sit down with them and chat for a while. you answer their questions, and if they like your answer their affection goes up. kinda like a mini-dating sim game within skyrim? I think it would be nice to be able to form some sort of attraction to your character's wife/husband that way. the way it's now it's just sorta impersonal. 5. more options for your husband/wife to do things... like before you leave you could ask them for a kiss, etc. nothing perverted. just something nice like: "Bye, honey. bring something back for me! *smooch*" and more conversation topics, etc.... even if it's just dishing out rumors that they heard about around town. again, I just want immersion with this game and to treat your virtual wife/husband as nothing but a npc is a little off-putting when you want to roleplay a little. I would even like to give them some gifts in return for some of the gifts they've given me.
