Okay. So after much deliberation I've solved it by ignoring it until it went away. For real. It eventually just stopped. :/ Very annoying. thanks for your suggestion. Topic closed.

Thanks for the response. Its a visual effect. Its hard to capture a screen of it. Its the crap that drips from ceilings in wet areas and the big dust particles that float around some places. I tried to console click on it, but I couldn't find where to click. the falling stuff didn't raise an ID. neither did looking up and clicking randomly to find the point of emission. It won't go away, I don't know what to do. Even removing the mods didn't help. :(

I have a weird problem. When the light shine on certain black statues or ancient Nord weapons. Also Daedric weapons, this shine isnt white like normal. Its purple. All the weapons have a purple hue to them. Anyone else have this problem?

Sorry for bringing this back up. But I decided to post here rather than make a new topic. I have the same issue. If it has to do with shadowmapbias in the skyrimprefs.ini then what would be a good fix for it? Anyone know of a value that negates this effect?
