Lack of Mod Merger
FullTimePatriot replied to RockZ420's topic in Kingdom Come: Deliverance's KCD1 Discussion
you can merge them manually. It isn't all too difficult for most mods. For example the mod to remove perk restriction simply deletes the perk restrictions from the XML. Just do that to the original file and done. Want to make it to where you can repair items at 0 durability. Add a line to the RPGparam.xml and done. Many mods add simple fixes like that which you can do yourself with little experience. Remember if you manually mod an XML you will need to make a blank tbl file, simply use notepad and save as a .tbl and replace the original. Also when you have mods like perkaholic and more perks it is a little more complicated, but you can find the associated perks note the perk ids search for them in the various XML files and delete the identical ones I believe they were firm grip and I forget the other. once those are deleted just cut the perks out and place them in the other file in their appropriate places. Lastly, and unrelated. If a mod stops working due to an update check the manifest file and if it has a line called "supported version" like 1.9.4 or 1.9.5 simply change it to 1.9.* or deleted the whole supported version lines. Note you do not need to modify the "version" line that's simply informational. -
So I've been modding skyrim for weeks now. I've gained a lot of experience, found many good mods, cleaned dirty plugins, used xedit to make specific edits to correct specific problems and a spent so much time troubleshooting. Overall I had gotten skyrim working good and beautifully. Well now for some reason the game isn't opening and though I've turned off mods and gone through loot I've done troubleshooting to beyond where I knew everything was working and now I would like to outsource some work. So if you're an experience modder and can help me clean, merge, and overall get the mods I have working together. I would appreciate it and I'm willing to provide appropriate compensation. Hit me up here or PM me. Thanks.

Alright using vortex mod manager what I did to resolve it is "Purge Mods" and then used "Deploy Mods"

Most mods that only use mcm will "work" in a limited capacity. There are often a variety of settings that need to be configured in MCM to function. That said many mods work with MCM, but also have a book, spell, or an object you can interact with in the game you can use to configure the settings.

CyranGE I know exactly what you mean. You're in luck! You can install SkyUI without the SkyUI Interface. After installing Skyui install Hide Skyui (backup your save, just in case you don't like it you can't uninstall SkyUI once it is on the save file) SkyUI is actually great a lot of mods use its mod configuration menu (AKA MCM). You will notice error messages when opening up the UI in the game. That's not a problem go to "mod configuration" in the game options select skyui Advance Settings and disable the SFW version checking options. You get the benefits of SkyUI without the ugly UI.

The way loot works with MO2 is you have to still install the application, but it automatically puts a link to loot in MO2. I'm not sure if Vortex has the same feature or not, but if you're not booting up loot then you're not using loot.

Interesting NPCs Rumarin. A Black Face Mystery.
FullTimePatriot replied to FullTimePatriot's topic in Skyrim's Skyrim LE
That is both a very simple and ingenious idea! I shall give it a try! Changes have been made...but they don't look like they'd conflict since I've disabled this mod before...booting up now. AHA! It worked. It was a conflict with 3DNPCs and 3DNPC0 I'm not sure what the 0 file is, but I have a separate mod called 3DNPCs overhaul I had disabled that, but apparently it is this other plugin that was causing the issue. Well I found another character "Olivia Meronin" however I couldn't find any conflicts with her at all....yet somehow she's infected :/- 3 replies

Howdy peeps. I'm having trouble with Rumarin. I really like the character; unfortunately he's been infected with the blackface bug. I have tried disabling all of the mods that I could find in my load order that "might" affect him, but have had no luck in this regard. I have posted two pictures containing my load order on my nexus profile if anyone would care to have a look and see what I may be missing. I know Skyrim hair replacer affects him, giving him much nicer hair, but even taking that one off he's still distorted. I appreciate any help!-

I can't speak about this mod specifically, but I have experienced this when two mods I had were overlapping the same space. I would save the game, disable the mod, open the game back up and see if anything is there if so, and not a vanilla asset, then that's likely your problem. If not then save the game again and run FallrimTools read the instructions and clean the scripts and undefined objects exactly as the instructions indicate. It's made really easy, and it does backup your save so don't worry too much. After you clean it with fallrimtools re-enable the mod and load the new save that Fallrimtools made. Very likely everything will work as expected afterwards.

If you're using a program like Mod Organizer you can easily reinstall a mod if it has multiple options. To know which plugins are installed you can look through your list. Also if you miss anything a program like LOOT can be very useful in letting you know. It doesn't "always" know, but it knows a lot.

What does Morthal II overhaul do?
FullTimePatriot replied to teresatiger's topic in Skyrim's Skyrim LE
Tyger, you may have gone overboard, but I'm incredibly impressed at the amount of detail and information you provided. Also WOW 871 Mods! Can you take a picture of or post your mod list? I'm curious what mods you have! Thanks for your post. -

Also If you haven't installed Mod Organizer 2 I highly recommend it. Some people prefer vortex though so there's a preference you'll need to learn yours. Since this is your first time playing skyrim I highly recommend going very light on the modding. There is quite a bit to learn. Over the past two weeks I've spent a lot of time modding skyrim and very little time playing. -

So no doubt by now everyone who's been modding up their Skyrim has run into this bug on occasion. The black face bug. Where an NPCs face goes black. This is caused, from my understanding, by a conflict between mods modifying the same character. Well I have been going through all my mods, that I believe could modify this character, and haven't been able to pinpoint it. I would go through each mod one by one, but that would be excruciatingly time consuming, for a minor though funny and lovable character.- 3 replies

So I've learned of a way to convert ESPs to ESLs in Xedit. However, when I have opened several ESPs in Xedit they're listed as ESLs. So do these files count to the 255 plugin limit? Should I rename them .esl? Thanks in advance!

Mark Light: any plugins that should be avoided?

Word on the street is, in all my searching on the subject, that people haven't been experiencing problems. -
Looking to remove Bikini Armor
FullTimePatriot replied to FullTimePatriot's topic in Skyrim's Skyrim LE
Thank you I appreciate the suggestion. Unfortunately/fortunately I'm up to 254 active plugins. I worry about adding too many more. -
Requiem is a mod for Non-SE Skyrim known as oldrim. I believe those patches are to convert specific features over. The developers of Requiem are working on Requiem 4.0 which will port Requiem to Skyrim SE. I have asked them when it will be released and they said their development has been slightly delayed due to some virus. However they are still working on it.

Looking to remove Bikini Armor
FullTimePatriot replied to FullTimePatriot's topic in Skyrim's Skyrim LE
there is a patch that makes it work with CBBE, I was trying to find some armors for the gals to wear. I wouldn't know the difference between unp and cbbe to be honest. I just didn't like the stark contrast between the men in my game and the women. After spending these last 30 minutes in creation kit i'm done with that I'm way too confused in that tool. Many years ago I made a simple mod, but doubt I could do that much any more. On that note I found another non-skimpy patch for the armors going to try and use that. Non-Skimpy Book of UUNP Patch An update. So far that patch appears to have corrected the problem. Wahoo. -

FullTimePatriot replied to FullTimePatriot's topic in Skyrim's Skyrim LE
It's possible it might be The Book of UUNP Volumes 1 2 and 3 - UNP - Sevenbase - UNPB and not CBBE. I think that's where I got most of my female armors. Though I did download the "no skimpy" patch. Perhaps we have different Ideas of "skimpy" and "bikini" I'm going to try to open up the mod in the creation kit and see if I can see anything. (hopefully it won't be too overwhelming :P) -
I know what you mean. Even having not used those mods for too long with SOS installed it has become a must for me. Not even going into just how the movement of people and creatures are night and day better.
