Unfortunetely the only local security I use is Windows Defender, and disbling it and the firewall both make no difference...
So I am at a loss... guess I have some investigating to do.Regardless, thank you for your support. Hopefully I can get to the bottom of this sometime soon.
If Wabbajack has faster speeds then it's potentially a problem with your local security software (or something else) enforcing a limit on Vortex/MO/your browser?
Wabbjack tends to employ a lot of weird and wonderful "hacks" for things, so maybe they're doing something to bypass whatever is causing you issues.

Thanks for doing the tests.
Based on the results it looks like your ISP has a really bad connection to all of our servers. You may want to contact them to see if there's some kind of known fault?
You could try using a VPN or an alternate network connection to see if your speeds improve.
Kind regards
Thanks for the response,
I have tried a VPN but it doesn't seem to make any difference at all.
Is it not strange that a program like Wabbajack that still downloads directly from Nexus can still get max speeds?
With that in mind, could it still be an ISP issue?
Another thing to add is that speeds are consistent around 3.7MB/s - almost as though it's being forced around that speed.
Thanks for anything you can clear up!

So, I have lifetime premium but the issue is that whenever I download from Nexus on the website, Vortex or Mod Orgniser I get a consistent 3.7MB/s average on ALL downloads.
This issue is not present if I use another device. All my speeds on non-nexus related places are completely fine.
A strange thing is that using another 3rd party downloader tool such as Wabbajack which uses my nexus account still gets full uncapped speeds. It's only the website, Vorex and Mod Organiser that get slower speeds.

So after some researching and looking around, I came across a Reddit post of someone having the exact same issue as me 3 years ago.
He claimed that a program called TCP Optimizer fixed his problem, so naturaly I tried it out.
I have no idea what exactly I was doing in that program but I simply applied it's 'windows default' preset and let it do it's thing and voila - back to normal speeds.
Not sure what exactly was the issue but I am glad it finally works!
