I'm having constant problems with GECK crashes. Basically, when i'm loading whatever selection of esps and esms im using for a GECK session (it doesn't matter which ones i'm using), the GECK ALWAYS freezes about 5 seconds into loading the content. In the background the GECK clearly still works because most of the time the GECK suddenly unfreezes about 15 seconds later and everything has been magically loaded, however this isn't always the case. From what i can tell, windows basically gives a frozen program a set period of time to correct itself before putting up the "<Insert program here> has stopped working" window, and shutting it down entirely. Unfortunately the mod that i'm trying to make at the moment uses a lot of resource material from multiple esm's and i can't get around this problem by loading fewer files. If anyone would know how to - a) Stop the GECK from freezing EVERY time i load something, b) Stop my windows 7 64 bit from forcing the program to crash after a set period of time. c) Or failing those 2, move all the weapon, 1st person weapon, and ammo files from the games primary master file into a separate smaller master file I would be very grateful. Further Information - I'm using the 1.4 NV GECK I DO run it as administrator (by right clicking the exe and selecting run as admin from the dropdown menu) I AM making a Requiem for the Capital Wasteland compatibility mod, meaning that I AM loading content from both New Vegas esms, and fallout 3 esms, however I'm sure this isn't happening as a result of trying to load fallout 3 esms in the NV Geck, i've already done so several times and this problem only occurs when i'm loading enough information at once regardless of whether some of that information is from fallout 3 content or not. I don't click on the GECK when it freezes (clicking on a frozen program accelerates windows response to it, however even if i don't click anything windows still crashes the program after a set period of time). I have left the window alone for over an hour after the "Garden of Eden Creation Kit has stopped working" window pops up (I went and ate dinner), it doesn't help. I've watched how much memory the GECK takes up as it loads the esms/esps. even after the program initially freezes, it continues to use CPU resources and take up increasing amounts of memory. The moment the "stopped working" window pops up however the memory and CPU usage stops as well. The program doesn't begin to max out my memory. Thanks very much to anyone who can help me on this
