Hi guys, I have a question: is the fire enchantment on my sword blowing my cover? I haven't played Skyrim in a while and the way I remember it, once you have a pretty high sneak skill, pretty much anything that's going on behind someone's back they're not gonna notice. Now my sneak skill is 83, I have the first two perks in stealth, and also muffle and silence. (and a few others though I don't think they're relevant. Now I know that sometimes spells can blow your cover because of the lighting, but I didn't think it really worked that way with weapons. However, I stealth killed a Forsworn with a Briarheart with his back totally to us with a fire enchanted one handed glass sword, and as soon as I did (and she caught fire of course) He immedately noticed me. Is the lighting from my fire enchant blowing my cover?

Um...I realize this is necroposting now but this is the first thing that came up when I searched about this bug, so I thought I might be able to help other people that stumble on this thread. In the link to the mod if you look under the files tab, you can just download an older version that was made for USKP. version 1.1 is the newest one before the USLEEP patch, and for whatever reason it was the middle one of the older versions.

Ice Form and its weird health bar issue
ethervagabond replied to ethervagabond's topic in Skyrim's Skyrim LE
I kind of thought this was just a vanilla issue with the way health bars are displayed, but: Snotgurg's Equipment HUD A Matter of Time Instant Mining Cloaks of Skyrim One that adds a Smelter to Riften (some of these I don't know the name of because when my files got deleted it just saved the .esm's) Waterwalking enchantment Unread Books Glow Ask Follower Skills Disable Hearthfire Background Music Jaxonz Renamer Show Follower Health Simple NPC Outfit Manager Stop Horses Fast Traveling Take Notes - Journal of the Dragonborn and then all the Unofficial Patches for Skyrim and all the DLCs- 2 replies

So the last thing you hit or did damage to or had an effect on, is what health bar is shown on the screen as your target, yeah? Well sometimes I use Ice Form as crowd control, and fight the thing that is NOT trapped in ice. So I can't see the health bar of the thing I'm actually fighting, because it's constantly showing me the one I have Ice Formed. Anybody got any ideas for workarounds or fixes for this?? I'm quite surprised I can't find anything anywhere about it.

If you play like me, one of the biggest issues you have that slows down the game is going back and forth to settlements to top off and store chems and food between quests. Especially in survival mode, where your carry weight is severely limited, and you can't just automatically travel to where ever if your supplies are low, but you've just walked an hour away from your nearest settlement, and have to decide whether to risk going into a dungeon with 3 stimpaks or walk all the way back to the settlement. I'm always having to stop and take every change I can to resupply and store things. I was thinking, wouldn't it be nice if there was a mod that warned you when supplies were low, so you could just play the game without having constantly worry about resupplying until you, you know, had to? My idea is simple. A mod that lets you select different items and input how many you want to receive a warning at. So for instance, I could set a warning to pop up whenever I got down to 5 stimpaks. And hopefully it would work for different numbers on different items, like say for instance it would also warn you when you got down to only 2 psycho. Whatever you set the number at. It would ALSO be greatly convenient if it notified you when you were carrying too many too, like for instance, set the stimpak max at 25, so when you hit 25, it lets you know. That way you know you need to find some place to store some stuff. THAT of course comes secondary to the low warning, but I figure if it's possible to let you know at a small number, it could let you know at a big number too. I don't know if this mod is possible or how hard it would be to make, I don't know crap about modding. But that sure would be a nice mod, in my opinion.

Mod request- Full clerical vestments
ethervagabond replied to Biblslap's topic in Fallout 4's Mod Ideas
I think this would be pretty cool too. -
Okay so I really hate recipes that you have a specific item for, rather than scrap materials. Not because I mind having to find that specific item, but because you can't just put it in the freaking workshop for fear of accidentally using its scrap parts for something else. For instance, for Berry Mentats, you need an Antifreeze Bottle. But you can't just stick it in the workshop, because you might accidentally use it up crafting something that only requires plastic or acid, and not the Antifreeze Bottle specifically. I have found mods that fix some of these recipes, for instance changing the Berry Mentats recipe to require acid and plastic instead of the Antifreeze Bottle. But I haven't found one to change the Modified Bowling Ball recipe. I'm sure this mod would be super easy to make if I knew jack about modding, but I do not. Can anyone take a few minutes and make it so the recipe for Modified Bowling Ball calls for 7 plastic, 1 acid, and 1 oil, instead of 1 Bowling Ball, 1 plastic, and 1 oil? Thanks in advance.

Okay, so this is probably a ridiculously complicated thing to do, but I was thinking it would be cool if someone made a Lorenzo's Crown mod that gave you a huge buff to your stats, HP, and radiation resistance (and of course it would be awesome if you could use telekinesis in some form, maybe as an equippable weapon once you have the crown, but that's not a big deal), but once you have it on, you can never take it off. And the longer you have it on, the more it buffs your stats, hp, all your resistances (eventually you become immune to radiation, but not other types of damage) but also, it slowly begins to make you crazy. At first, every now and then you will randomly get an option in dialogue that turns whoever you're talking to hostile. Then over time, you'll always have one, then two of the options, then eventually after a while, every dialogue option turns people hostile. Then maybe after a point, everyone in the game is hostile to you on sight, or at least you "think" they are. Obviously this would make the main story and almost all quests incompletable, but the whole point of the crown is to be this god of destruction like figure. Maybe wastelanders and members of factions would start attacking you in large droves. Also, maybe it could make otherwise hostile factions, like say the Children of Atom, the only non hostile faction, who you can buy and sell from. Maybe they believe you're like Atom incarnate or something. I doubt anyone will do this or if it's even possible. I just wanted to toss it out there in case any experienced modder wanted to give it a go.

News Only Diamond City Radio
ethervagabond replied to ethervagabond's topic in Fallout 4's Mod Ideas
Nah. -
Anyone interested in making a mod to add more punctuation to the acrylic letters for the Marquee? ! ? $ and * is not cutting it for me. I mostly need apostrophes and commas, but damn Bethesda, how hard would it have been to slap at least a few more of the more common punctuation marks in there???
-
Anyone interested in making or telling me how to make a mod that removes all the songs from Diamond City Radio so you can just listen to Travis cycle through his news updates? This seems like it would be fairly easy to do based on some other radio mods I've seen on the nexus. EDIT: Or something that is just able to skip a song would be even better. But either way.

I'm quite surprised this doesn't exist already, but is anyone interested in making an Alien Blaster reflex sight mod? I absolutely hate the standard sights, but I don't want a damn scope on it either.
-
Yeah, probably not worth the time it would take, I'm guessing. Well, if someone else made it, it'd be worth it for me, lol. But yanno. By the way, Pra, I love your What's Your Name mod. Such a simple mod that adds so much to the feel of settlements.

Damn. Okiedoke. Thanks.
