  1. The only dialogue is to rent a regular room. No attic option. Quest marker is above her head though. Skyrim reinstalled, and I did nothing but rapidly TGM and kill the hell out of the quests to get to her again. Same thing. No mods, no file edits, just recommended settings and a new save. Verify cache is perfect. I would really like to be able to continue the main quest line....
  2. Hello. I have a recurring issue with Skyrim that I hope someone can help me fix. On three separate characters, one of which used no mods whatsoever, when I reach Delphine during the Horn main quest and need to talk to her about the attic room, I am unable to. The dialogue option never appears. It happened on my first character, and I tried a different one, thinking it was a fluke. The same thing happened on that one, and to a third I used to see if it was mods. Even with all mods uninstalled, the problem persists. Solutions I have tried and did not work: *Uninstalling all mods *Reinstalling Skyrim *Using Console commands to bypass/complete quest and start A Blade in the Dark (Neither worked. Blade did not start, and MQ stalled) *Sacrificing a lamb *Punching a pig *Curb stomping my PC *Setting my hair on fire As you can see, I have tried almost everything within reason to fix the issue. Any ideas?
  3. Numidium was a golem built by the Dwemer to be a God. However, it ended up killed them, I believe by absorbing their souls, and never reached a god-like stage, though was still incredibly powerful. Might be off a bit, but that's what I learned while looking up the Towers of Mundus that control reality. The Numidium was one such Tower.
  4. I vote FPS! Nothing says TES like Vivec with an AA-12 riding on top of a tank against Almalexia's ak-47 wielding terrorists! But, in all seriousness, a fighting game could be fun. But perhaps an RPG would fit more. Depends on if you're going for a story or just a game with the Gods in it.
  5. Have 1.6.6, installed correctly (Convenient horses picks it up perfectly). No script dragon. Reloading doesn't work either. I've tried reinstallIng the mod, changing the controls, and nothing happens.
  6. For SkyUI and Race Menu, the custom buttons, such as search, change tabs, turn light on/off, etc, are not working for me. I have deleted the Custom Control Maps, remapped the commands to different keys, and my SKSE is the most current version, nothing works. Any ideas?
  7. I'm pretty sure its Vivec. Didn't he disappearance also lead up to Red Mountain's erruption?
  8. @Lachdonin Well, that explained the Towers well in the sense that I was asking. Thanks! But I could have sworn I read somewhere that no one knew exactly how many Towers were created by the Elves. Is that speculation or could there actually be more mortal-created Towers lying about?
  9. So, I started poking around the internet for Elder Scrolls lore, and I stumbled across the Towers that keep Mundus intact. I find this bit of lore fascinating, if a bit confusing. I was wondering if perhaps the community might be able to help me understand it. Here's what I have gathered. May or may not be correct: *The Towers, whether natural or man-made, are what holds Mundus intact, by that I mean its laws of physics. They also hold the Aetherius out, as well as the Void and Oblivion within it. *No one knows how many Towers there currently are. *Counting the ones that are not completely confirmed as deactivated/destroyed, there are four Towers left out of all that are known. *If all towers are destroyed/deactivated, Mundus will deform and return to the Aetherius. *The Thalmor wish to destroy the Towers to become immortal/gods. My biggest question is this: What happens to all of the races of Nirn if Mundus is destroyed via the Towers? I would assume they, too, are destroyed/deformed into nothing, but the Thalmor seem to believe it will make them immortal. Am I missing something, or are they just completely stupid?
  10. He already said he used frostfall... Anyway, I used TRO before RND. It's more or less the same exact mod, just feels more clunky and difficult to use. For example, you need to sneak in water to drink/refill (like the above mentioned) and in RND you just have to stand there. Using en amply bottle refills water and using a power drinks from the stream. In RND, ive never had food spoil on me. You can find spoiled food around, yes, but I've never actually had fresh food spoil. Maybe im just lucky. And while there is no HUD for the hunger/thirst, your character will ale appropriate sounds the hungrier/thirstier he gets. There's also a power you can use to check you hunger/thirst, as well as an option to have it periodically show up in the notifications. But TRO is good too. Just depends on preference.
  11. I use Realistic Needs and Diseases. http://skyrim.nexusmods.com/mods/26228 Its easy to use and very well done. If you use SkyUI you can customize it through the MCM, if not you can use a built-in menu. It also has patches for most mods, like WATER, SkyMoMod, and Realistic Wildlife Loot (a must have if you want to hunt for your food). RND also changes the way diseases work, making them get stronger the longer you go without getting cured. Kind of annoying at times, but I like the pseudo-realism it adds to diseases. In my opinion, RND is the best hunger/thirst mod out there, unless you want to get into calories, vitamins, etc.
  12. So, this will probably be an incredibly difficult project, but I figured it would be worth suggesting. The idea is more or less a combination of Skyrim's and Oblivion's magic/weapon system, with a little of Morrowind. I liked how in Oblivion, you had your weapon/shield, and still could cast your spell via another button. It made being a spellsword applicable, since you could use all combat features and magic at the same time, without having to jump to the favorites menu/hot keys constantly to equip and re-equip spells and weapons. But I like being able to wield two spells at once. My solution was a 'toggle' key that would switch between your weapons and your spells. For clarification, I'm not exactly asking for two weapon sets that you can switch between using the toggle, though that would work as well. My idea is that you equip a shield to your left hand, and then a spell to the same hand. You still have your shield out. Then, when you want to use the spell, you press the toggle and, without losing your shield, your right click will cast your equipped spell. Release the toggle key, and then right click goes back your shield. The same would go for the right hand in my perfect world, so you could dual wield and such. Obviously, SKSE would be required, and the mod would be hard to code, but hey, it was worth throwing out there if someone wants a challenge.
  13. Are you asking for a mod that lets you mod the game from the inside or a mod that contains a collection of presets that you could use to learn/base your own items off of? I got the latter, but I just was to be sure. If it is the latter, I don't see why that would be a problem. Maybe a few books with some online tutorials copied onto them for reference and some clutter thrown around so you can see how enchantments, magic, etc works. But, if you can use the CK and have access to the interwebs, you can do the same thing by copying tutorials into word documents and tinkering around with the regular Skyrim items... I guess I'm just confused at what the goal of this is...
  14. My Skyrim crashes inconsistently when attacking Dragons with my bow. Randomly, when I fire an arrow, the game crashes to desktop with no error report. Sometimes it doesn't happen until I am about to land the killing blow, other times it happens on the first shot. More details: *It only triggers when the arrow is let loose, not as it flies to the Dragon, nor when the Dragon is hit by the arrow. *It randomly began today after 60+ hours of no issues. *Error began when I installed the Belua vampire mod, but continues even though I have uninstalled it. *This crash only occurs when fighting a Dragon *Crash only occurs with bows *Crash tested in two different locations, against two different dragons The only mods I can think of that would have anything to do with this are Deadly Dragons, Arrow Tweaks, and ACE, but I have been using all three this entire time without any issues up until now. Below is my load order. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
  15. I've tried turning off various mods, including playing with no mods, and verifying the game cache. Nothing worked. I think its the save file, though, since I use console commands to get a new character up there and he beat Alduin with no crashes, using the same mod layout... So I guess its solved... But does anyone have a clue what could cause my save to do that? It doesn't make sense that a save file would crash a game like that, to me at least. Not a big deal, though. Thank you, Georgiegril, for your help!
