A semi Auto(think of the Laser Musket similar to the Bolt action rifle with this mod) and Full auto(Gatling style firing) Also on the subject of the original poster, this could be a good way to implement a Laser Flintlock. This is from Forgotten weapons Youtube channel . Quite good stuff.

Funny thing about this is that someone made an Laser Pistol Receiver mods. As such it occurs to me that while the Laser Guns would have the same base, they would be a different size. The same applies to the Laser Musket. What I mean is that the Laser guns would not only have what they have but the Current stuff would be classified as the Rifle versions of Laser Gun Mods, while the smaller versions of the Laser Gun mods would be Pistol sized. -

If you put an short barrel on the Laser Musket and one of the Pistol Grips, that is basically a Flintlock Pistol Laser Edition. What I want to know is what about an Multishot Mod for the Laser Musket say 15 shots max upgrade, and the Legendary Version is 30 shots instead of the 20 shots it has. Lorenzoni repeating Flintlock is the inbetween of the single shot muskets and the cartridge guns. Really interesting. Anyway if you want an Pistol variant of the Laser Musket just ask for an mod that gives the Laser Muskets pistol grips. For me personally, I would also like the Automatic option. To each their own. Edit: the Laser Musket has the mods of the Energy weapons, meaning Beamfocuser and ScatterMuzzle, things like that. So you already have an Blunderbuss mod for the Laser musket, unless you want an Bigger Laser shotgun shot, in which case that would be awesome yes. -

There is a mod that overhauls the weapons and gives them more recievers. Weapons Mod mod. I found it when I was looking for some stuff to see if the .38 has anything better, and I got a link to that mod. Very nice. -

I think that it is standard gaming balance thing that SMGs are weak, for some reason or the other. Well, for the Valentine Mission, the Players could get armored up. And the difference between the cartridges is 1.3 difference, and yet, the .45 aka 11.5 mm is garbage compared to the 10mm. If there was an Pistol for the .45, I think that things might be different, and now that i am on the Suggestion Train, 10mm SMG as well is needed. -

On the subject of Katanas, I simply grew out of the "Katanas are coolz" phaze. I much prefer the Western Martian Arts and Weapons, meaning European Stuff. I get liking something, but when you get to an cultist level of admiration then you need to step down. Moraelin, thank you for the Tommy Gun Receiver mods. Just so you know apparently the 10mm cartridge is something like .41, while .45 is obviously bigger than that. However that still raises the question of why the frak is the Tommy gun weak? -

And it would be the Laser Equivalent of an Musket Pistol. Holy Crap, imagine the Laser Musket Pistol Version with the Automatic Laser Musket Mods. There is a Weapon Mod for the Automatic attachment in the Nexus. the Weapons Mod mod. Would the Musket Pistol grip have standard and comfort Pistol grips? Anyway good idea. Would love it in the game -

Yes I was thinking that the Current Institute Weapons are Expandable ones, which is why they have lower base damage than the PreWar Laser Guns. I also thought that the Military Grade better than PreWar Laser Guns should have been in the Institute as faction specific armory items, but your idea that the Military Grade Institute Laser Guns are weapons of the Coursers, makes much more sense and is more fair to an non-Institute inclined player. I kind of thought that the balance of Laser Weapons would be something like this: Institute expandable Laser Weapons<PreWar Laser Weapons<Institute Military Grade Laser Weapons. Is that fair? -

Lol, I'm still tempted to pull the stunt I did in NV, with the 20 gauge minigun. Turned raiders into small piles of spare parts :wink: For shotguns a heavy duty box magazine as a default for a LMG shotgun thing would be good, yes? For pistols and revolvers. I mentioned 9mm(professionally made pistols, SMGs and such) and .38 caliber(which could have a professional revolver for it), 10mm SMG(has pistol grips and rifle stocks and different barrel lengths), 12,7mm pistol, revolver and smg, Grenade Launchers and Mini Rocket Launchers(and a gun family for them) Tesla Rifle and Cannon, the Current Assault Rifle renamed to LMG and the American and Chinese Assault Rifles added to the game. why not remote detonated explosives as well? Melees that could be added are: kitchen knifes, cleavers, bumper swords; European Swords like infantry sabers, short swords arming swords claymores and a claymore shishebab version. Hell why not some mace weapons as well. Oh and the baton gets a knife attachment, and probably the modded blade variants as well. Unarmed, a glove slot for boxing tape, gloves with and without fingers made from cloth, leather and military grade gloves, BT adn gloves can have armour and knuckle guard mods. What do you think about this? I have liked your ideas. Really, to be quite honest, as long as they are not "god weapons", I like anything new that I can use to murder people with :tongue: But seriously, your ideas are good :smile: Thank you. Also for the .38 revolver, I think that it not having the third .44 Revolver's barrel(called the bull barrel) is a good idea for balancing purposes. I mean for a powerful Revolver like the .44 . . .There must be a good designation for it, anyway .44 Revolver makes sense to have the Bull Barrel, the .38 Revovler should not ahve it, given the plentiful ammunition for it. Thank you for the compliment, and I am more for the weapon variety, which the vanilla game should have had. You know what would also fit in Fallout as a Raider weapon? Bumper Swords. They are from NV, but still awesome though. Edit: Institute Laser Guns are actually Institute Expedition Laser guns, because they are given to expandable gen 1 and gen 2 syths. With that reasoning it makes sense why the current Institute guns are weaker than the Pre-War Laser Guns. I propose making the new designation and making a new Laser gun line for the Institute Military Grade Laser Guns, which by default should have better damage than Pre-War Laser Guns. And speaking of laser weapons, where is my Death Ray Rifle, pistol and Big gun? -

There is also the wait for the GECK, so the modders can really go to town on good stuff. Is the 10mm SMG considered in some circles of the Nexus as a weapon for the Fallout 4 game? If yes, sweet. -

Your ideas for the power fist are good ones. I did suggest varieties for the Grenade types and get this MiniRocket Launchers. For some melee weapons. I did suggest kitchen knifes and Cleavers as early game weapons. Kitchen knifes were in both Fallout 3 and NV, Cleavers were in NV they could be in Fallout 4 as well. Either Fireman's Axes or Woodcutters axes are a good idea. Eiher Chainsaws or The Autoaxes would be good to have as well. For unarmed: First a glove slot and for the glove slot: boxing tape Gloves with and without fingers. You can have cloth, leather, military grade variants which can be modded to be armored increasers an/dor some of the Knuckleduster mods like spikes and such. Maybe even a knuckle guard mod which you can mod to be spiked and bladed, things like that. From the parts related to Fallout 3 and NV(well mostly NV, it has more variety) I will link some unarmed and melee stuff stuff, if you want to look at what you want in http://fallout.wikia.com/wiki/Unarmed#Fallout_3 http://fallout.wikia.com/wiki/Melee_Weapons#Fallout_3 I think that some weapons can be fitting. Kitchen knifes, cleavers(which have increased limb damage in Fallout NV) and bayonets as usable melee. Hell get some throwable melees into the game. And even some European swords. Like Infantry Sabers! Arming swords! Long Swords, short swords! Great Swords! And Claymores and a mod for making an Shishebab Claymore!!! It shall be awesome to have. And some unarmed stuff as well. Which I posted before this sentance. And for fraks sake, put in the 10mm SMG, which could have the pistol grips and the Rifle stocks. Speaking of Pistol Grips, where is the sharpshoters grip for the Revolver? And here is one for you knife attachment for the Baton. Edit here is an another one Bumper swords and Hatchets. -

How about Tesla cannons? Or even Grenade launchers and Mini rocket Launchers. There are Incinerators from previous games, which are basically big guns that shoot exploding fireballs. Why of course. With the chimney that blast smokes on the side so the smoke won't block view. I think that the Railway Rifle that we have at the moment is satisfactory. An Super version might be better though.
