  1. Carl you are a genius and I shall name my first born in your honour. Seriously that Editor ID doesn't seem to be listed anywhere and it's exactly what I needed. Turns out an update to firelight fixes is uploaded as English but its configs are Russian of all things (not French). Good show.
  2. There isn't one. I already know the mod would have to be made using a base Fallout3 copy in French language, but no mods are in French. So the only way of identifying it would be the trace the liee change and see what mod has altered it, wouldn't it?
  3. Identifying which mod causes a certain change- area in Washington (directly outside the doors of the Museum of History) has had it's name changed to 'liee' in the map with accented e's. This shows up on everything, from the map to the save files But ... a) I can't figure out what mod causes this, because I don't know the area ref ID b) The area itself is not listed under any FORM or REF ID listings. The inside of the Museum and the surrounding Georgetown I can find, but the area called 'The Mall' (which is what I think it should say?) have no ref ID. So I can't search it. What can I do?

  5. ABSURD! But I think I've found the 'source' of the bug. It's the Mister Gutsy/Handy robots! If I'm in a cell with one and face towards it (even through walls) the screen will be saturated in yellow (or green in one case). I have absolutely no explination for this but the gushing 'turbines' beneath the robot remains the only thing I can see visually. Tested in different cells, only the ones with the robots were effected. I am so out of ideas here.
  6. I meant Adams Airbase- not sure why I said Arlington. I'm going to try Uninstalling Broken Steel but if that doesn't work I really am going to need help with this. I am not a clever bunny.
  7. I thought to put this in the Mod section but I noticed it only started happening when I pressed the button in Broken Steel Airbase which causes the missiles to come down- NOT the airstrike at the end, but a load of missiles come down on some Enclave soldiers near the start of the airbase. Pressing the button made my screen flash yellow, and thats when this started up. I thought it would just be in Arlington but it happens in any building interior. Facing certain directions will make my screen go entirely yellow while in first person- switching to third this doesn't happen. I have no idea what's causing it, or how to try and solve it. Nobody else has ever mentioned this glitch as far as I've seen, and the Unofficial Patch for BS doesn't seem to help. I can't play this save with this kind of problem- please help me out.
  8. New Vegas is a pretty weak experience in comparison with FO3, so I'd say I'm VERY much still playing the third game. Kind of funny how the one game not made by Interplay was the one with the best 'fallout' world building...
  9. Running EVE in cooperation with assorted FOIP mods. I ran into an issue when using the 'enforcer gauntlets', in that when taken off, the texture stays on the right hand and cannot be removed. I searched around and this has been mentioned on the EVE threads before, but never actually addressed with a fix (to my notice). Has there ever been any solution to this? Or am I forever the Shredder?
  10. 93% chance that you did it incorrectly Well instead of assuming I'm retarded why don't you do something useful? Maybe tell me why you think that. How many ways are there to do a MasterUpdate then other than running the FO3MasterUpdate?
  11. Well nice an idea as it was, updating Masterlist didn't work. Still as corrupt as an 80's politician.
  12. Haven't done a master update in a while. While I need to construct a new merged patch afterwards? Either way, definately worth a try.
  13. My current save file started crashing at any point where a door had to be passed or I waited/slept. I heard a cure for this was to use a fatman or something and blow yourself up. Well, it works! Only problem is a few minutes later the problem will happen again, and I can't carry an endless supply of explosives to fix this problem at every door. What is the cause of this, and how can it be solved? :psyduck:
  14. Been running the game with a bashed patch and recently found that all laser items have messed up textures- in particular, they flash between various different textures depending on which was my character is facing. I was told this was caused by not having Archive Invalidation running, but I do. After some testing I found that disabling my bashed patch fixes the issue completely! Must be something about the way I built it up. Even without the bashed patch all my mods run fine (yes I am running FOIP) but it's just good for stability.
  15. This is something I've known about but never really seen in effect. Running FWE I've noticed that taking a large amount of drugs adds vault 101 jumpsuits to my inventory called 'Overdose Counter'. I assume that's supposed to happen? I just don't see what they do, or why they're there. I've never had my character die of overdose even after some experimentation. So I just wanted to clear that up, what's the point?
