[Skyrim - Mod Detectives Thread]

Hey guys, it has been a while since I played Skyrim, and I can't remember too clearly but I might have downloaded a mod where the armor for females become invisible only in some parts such that the arms, cleavage and stomach and thighs are exposed. Has anyone heard of this before? If so, do you mind telling me? I have looked around so much to no avail. I have no screenshots or anything.

if above info is accurate you probably running out on memory. Why do you run a 32bit OS (an obsolete one on top of that) with 16GB RAM installed? :confused:

This limits your total available RAM to 4GB with an max of 2GB allocated to skyrim.

check out the General section in that ini:

 

;Enable(1) or Disable(0) the number of perks gained, set by the Uncapper, at each level up

Not a duplication, Safety Load was the first approach of changing Skyrim's loading behavior. It still works but it became outdated with Sherson's solution integrated with SKSE.

Running two mods changing basically the same thing is never a good idea ;)

Hm, not sure but it looks like that mod messed up your HDT scripts somehow. You could try:

 

1. uninstall that armor mod

2. reinstall HDT High Heels System

3. loading a save from before installing the armor mod

There is a mod that helps with crashing on loading screens. This will help reduce those pesky freezes and crashes during any loading screens. Its called Safety Load - http://www.nexusmods...im/mods/46465/?

Do this along with SKSE and the memory patch.

 

 

Absolutely not, with SKSE's Memory patch that mod became obsolete. Only use one, not both ;)

download and install SKSE and activate the memory patch, that should help with your infinite loading. Here is a good tutorial on how to do it:

I remember playing a mod a few years ago and it was a quest/story one. You meet a lady in a town and you help her with errands, I don't remember the quests inbetween but by the end of it you travel outside of the map through tunnels and meet an army camped out, by then you fight a large battle with orcs I believe. The quest i think is half romance, as you court the lady you met.

 

Sounds like "Blade Song" by sornan, unfortunately it is not available on the nexus anymore.

Hm, I might be totally wrong here (last playthrough 2010 :blush:) but isn't that the part where the remove-all-inventory-script is firing? Do you have any non-vanilla items in your inventory, especially items from MMM (live Iguanas for example)? Removing those prior to entering that gate might help.

Wow, sounds like that quest is really messed up, according to the wiki it has quite some bugs. Unfortunately yours seems to be new.

As a last resort you could try to mess around with the setstage command for that quest. Make a save before you try that, forcing these stages is irreversible.

Use the 4Gb .exe, if NVSE is correctly installed it will be detcted and started automatically.

IIRC respawn time for containers is 3 days, just wait or sleep and see if it turns up.

One other thing to consider is how to add your Item to the vendor, adding it directly to moiras chest works but might make your mod incompatible with others.
