  1. Thank you all for your responses. I am currently killing time while Divinity is downloading. I'm fairly certain that the game controls for Fallout are comparable with Skyrim but post Apocalyptic games don't really catch my interest. My son has all of the Assassins Creed games and having discussed them with him in the past, I think the game controls are more akin to Witcher. Having spent the money for that and never been able to make friends with it, I'm not anxious to spent another $50 for a game I won't play. Again, I really appreciate everyone answering my inquiry. Best regards and Happy New Year, FosterBear
  2. Much as I hate to admit it, age does catch up. I recently purchased a new game, "Witch Hunter 3". For the life of me, I can't get used to all of the keys to make the game function. I spend more time dead than alive. That said, I have been playing "Skyrim" since it came out and have the enhanced version. Prior to that I played "Oblivion". I still will load and play my Might and Magic games including the Heroes titles. The turn based combat is great for slow old guys. I mostly enjoy the graphics, wandering through worlds created by talented game creartors and working out puzzles. My question here is, are there any current fantasy games with good graphics and story lines that don't require more than a mouse and half a dozen keys. I'm at a point where I'm ready to invest in a new computer but don't want to buy one until I find a game I can play and make sure the new computer will handle the load. For reference, I have played games since 1988. I tend to buy Dungeon & Dragon types. I don't play on-line. Your thoughts appreciated... Thanks, FosterBear
  3. AFT is available for SE through the Nexus MODs.
  4. I have also been using the IAFT Mod. I haven't had any issues with my followers yet and I am level 70. I have 4 followers; Lydia, Uthgerd, Jordis and Serana. All are main game characters. Perhaps some of yours were not designed to be followers and you recruited them or they were specialty followers. This could make a difference... As to removing the Mod, everything I have read says that this will break your game. I have in the past removed Mods but I always remove the Mod, delete any saves after the date the Mod was installed and load the last save before I added the Mod. Sounds like you may have a lot of play time after adding IAFT so choice is yours. I would hate to loose my progress thus far but with over 3000 hours in vanilla restarting isn't a hard decision if I choose to go that route. I think I may try loading the AFT over the top and see what happens. If I'm not happy, wellllll...
  5. I noticed a new MOD yesterday called "Beth.ini" which gives the player a tabbed selection of changes to make to the .ini file. I have not tried it and have no incentive to at this time, but for you guys it might be the answer...
  6. Thank you for the reply and the offer. I do have a copy of Wyrmstooth in my old Skyrim data folder, just not comfortable trying to move it myself. I have moved some simple MODs but concerned about tackling anything big. Thanks again...
  7. I copied the esp file for Supreme Candle Light and Helmless Warrior Reworked from my old Skyrim data folder to the SE data folder and both worked just fine...
  8. I have been checking the MOD pages to see which of the MODs I played in Skyrim were being set up for SE. I had a kink under history for Falskaar but the comment page is greyed out. I couldn't locate Wyrmstooth anywhere. Are these now abandoned MODs?? Would be a real shame as there was a lot of work put into their creation.
  9. The tale of woe... 1) I lost my old dog in December. I adopted a two year old in March. 2) My computer room is at the bottom of a metal circular stair. 3) My wife was afraid the new dog would injure itself, so wouldn't let me use my computer while the dog was up... 4) I had two older laptops in the main part of the house, but they weren't capable of handling Skyrim. With this behind me, I went back to playing some older games and was away from Skyrim for about 10 months. Prior to that I had over 3000 hours into the game. I had used a variety of MODs one of which was "Timing is Everything", I was able to set the beginning of any story line or quest to a level of my character. When SE came out, I began staying up past the dog's bedtime to play the new version. Why tell you all of this??? Last night I went to Falkreath and got the Clavicus Vile quest. Upon leaving the town I stumbled across the dog, but had other things on my mind, so I blew him off until later. When later rolled around, I couldn't locate the dog so went to Hamers Shame. After cleaning the place out, I found Barbas beside Clavicus. I had apparently missed the opportunity to play the quest. I don't recall not being able to come back to a quest but that was obviously because I wouldn't have begun that quest until I was ready. Anyone else have things like this happen? I'd be interested so that I don't screw up anything else...
  10. No, set it once and you're good to go unless you choose to change the setting later. I have used this since my first character.
  11. Maybe I'm too unsophisticated but I personally liked all the vanilla except for 2.
  12. The original author of AFT dropped the project but it was picked up and the MOD is already available a Immersive Amazing Follower Tweeks.
  13. Check out the MOD Ish's Dragon Souls for Perks. You can set the number of Dragon Souls for a perk. You're going to kill a lot more Dragons than you need souls for calls.
  14. I had considered this some time back. Last night I accidentally stumbled into Cracked Tusk at a relatively low level. I survived because of Lydia and Uthgerd. That said, when I went to level up, I increased 5 levels. Now the problem... I had, in the past, used Ely's Uncapper. The problem with leveling multiple levels is that the player is unable to visit a trainer to purchase training to enhance their skills. Thus I missed 20 training points. Not a problem if there is no level cap. I don't know if this can be addressed with a MOD, but it would be great if you could exit the level up screen after each level instead of having to advance them all at once as the game is now. I guess the questions here are: Can this be circumvented with a MOD? Is anyone up for the challenge? Thanks
