  1. Hey, guys! Sorry to be a bother. I just need a little help with my load order. I've taken a week installing the mods for Fallout 4 I desire. I don't plan to alter them in any way or add any more. This is the list I am happy with and want to use it for a full playthrough. I've used Loot, and it does order things around a bit. The only issue I have experienced is CTD when in combat? For example, I pull a gun and shoot or shoot another human character, the game crashes. Load Order: So far it's been extremely stable, with little isues. The CTD happens randomly in gun-play. For example in Diamond City, pulling a gun and shooting somebody in the head. Instant CTD< every time. Not sure why? I appreciate any and all help. :)
  2. Wow, when I disable Vsync, everything goes out of Sync in game. I ran vanilla Skyrim with no mods outside MO, and when I look around the horse carriages fly around and fall over. It's amusing to watch, but I don't think disabling Vsync is a good idea. o _o
  3. Nice I will give that a look over Fiewiel and try it out. Also will work on the AV, Just got my new video cards installed and doing some benchmarking to see if they are stable and all is well. I tried those new 13.2 beta drivers, and I am getting about 133 FPS with all my texture mods in Skyrim. lol. Makes me want to use Sharpshooter's ENB again.
  4. Yeah I agree. I can't comment on the story, because well.. I have not seen it yet. Still looking forward to it anyways. Was testing out SkyRE (Have not run ReProccer yet) and all seems to well. I got a random CTD outside BleakFalls Barrow, so I turned off the 2k HD mods and didn't experience another one. Also got a CTD outside Whiterun yesterday, so I think my texture mods are having some issues. I turned off the 2k mods, and convinced myself I cannot see a difference anyways. I need to lose this mentality of holding onto things that is preventing me from enjoy the game, and just trim up and start playing. I went with a custom skeleton for RR-R - With Chesko's Quivers (From Frostfall) And Skyrim Weapon Positions. I don't think this runs any scripts ( Could be wrong ) and it occured to me when I am fully decked out in furs and leathers with my bulky backpacks from Frostfall and WIC + Cloaks, I won't have much a use for dual wielding anyways. I am wondering if SWP is compatible with all weapons? SInce it only alters the default locations of those weapons? All I really have left to do is trim up some stuff, and get ReProccer functioning ( Lol, not looking forward to that. ) And then I can present you with my BOSS log and list of installed mods and get my ESP and overwrite order pristine and perhaps enjoy the game. Oh! I would also like to setup Automatic Varients, UPS should be here any moment to deliver me my new cards, and I am sure I can handle it. =)
  5. It was in reverse order. Improved NPCS was BELOW that file, yet it says it was overwriting files from Improved NPCS. Moving the file around reset it. I have a feeling this is going to cause CTDs in other places as well. You can really see a big difference when you don't run the 2k textures. The regular DLCs only cover so much. I can get around my problem for now and disable them to get inside the Understone Keep. If I get random CTDs I will just come back and rid of them. For now I am going to finish my load order and see if I can have any luck with SkyRE. Here is some screenshots I took during my adventure of 4 Skyrim reinstalls. (Yay pretty pictures!) http://i.imgur.com/fG5bB6n.jpg http://i.imgur.com/gF2YX1e.jpg http://i.imgur.com/aiolIJ7.jpg http://i.imgur.com/i2IWhGM.jpg http://i.imgur.com/D5D559O.jpg
  6. Hey Ripple. Look at this picture very carefully. What do you see wrong here?
  7. Okay so it looks like it's one of the Skyrim HD -2k Textures doing it. I still need to narrow it down, but when I turn them all off, I am able to enter and exit without issue (still need to test to make sure it's 100% stable) I have my texture order like this: Skyrim - HD - 2K TexturesB Towns Skyrim - HD - 2K TexturesB Dungeons Skyrim - HD - 2K TexturesB Landscape Skyrim - HD - 2K TexturesB Riften Skyrim - HD - 2K TexturesB Misc *--- I am not sure which one it is, I tried isolating them with no real luck as I had random results. It was pointing to Misc being the culprit, but when I loaded it without it, it CTD inside. With them all disabled, I can get in and out so it won't halt my gameplay. I had a CTD outside Whiterun earlier, I wonder if my texture mods are not installed in the right order. *--- I noticed these 2k texture are overwriting alot of files from the unofficial patches. Are these suppose to go before, or after them? I can't find any information on load order.
  8. Sorry, broke off for some lunch. I don't think I am using anything that adds anything to the cell of Understone Keep. Let me try again without my fancy texture mods. I am not using any ENBS
  9. Turned off Ruins Clutter Improved texture mod, and it allowed me to enter. Took 2 steps forward, and instantly CTDs.
  10. I just tried to verify the integrity of my files. The only thing I have changed in the default INI is the FOV. Out of 10 attempts. 7 CTDs and 3 infinite loading loops. I googled this problem, and it's massive. Tons of people have had this issue. Nobody seems to have a solution for my issue, as I use mods they never mentioned to turn off. People have said everything else in the game works for them fine, but this one area causes CTDs. I know it's not my video card.
  11. This is actually extremely common. There is tons of threads with this exact same issue. http://forums.nexusmods.com/index.php?/topic/646995-understone-keep-ctd-with-3-different-mods/
  12. <p>I am still debating going with DSpSoB. For now I am seriously curious why my game is crashing at Understone Keep, again.. in Markath. I googled it, and some people said to disable Alternate start, Live Another Life when they had CTD issues in the game. <a href="http://forums.nexusmods.com/index.php?/topic/647336-ctd-when-entering-dragonsreach/">http://forums.nexusmods.com/index.php?/topic/647336-ctd-when-entering-dragonsreach/</a></p> <p> </p> <p>I just ran back to Makath after a carrage ride with the default vanilla game, and when trying to enter Understone Keep it refuses to load, and just sits on the black screen showing my level. I really don't understand what is causing this. If it's not my video card, I am going to be troubleshooting this for a very long time. Also getting random CTD's out in fields outside Whiterun.</p> <p> </p> <p>It's not Life another Life doing it, something else is.</p>
  13. Well I started doing some testing, and my game is crashing again at the understone keep in Makath. Going to wait for my new cards, and see if I am running out of Vram before I start pulling mods. Seems like the most logical step. Everytime I crash here, and I don't know why.
  14. I think I may go with the custom skeleton: BBP, Realistic RagDolls, Chesko's Belt-Fastened Quivers, SWP - Custom Twin Swords Dagger on ankle. It doesn't use DSpSoB. But I don't get the functionality of not wearing a shield on my character's back, or duel wielding weapons on the back either. Do you really think DSpSoB is a bad idea?
  15. Doesn't SkyRe already overhaul races, birth signs, and skill trees? I can't see how they would be compatible unless CCO is modular and/or has compatibility patches/SkyRe compatible versions. I play a custom race ( in order to have unique textures, skeleton, and some animations for my character) so generally don't check out the vanilla race overhaul mods much. It does already overhaul everything, yes. But this just adds to even more. One could argue it's too much, but I enjoyed this mod. I may drop it, only time will tell. I found it a little bit overpowering. For example when you chose your class, it gives you too many + skills. You essentially start out with 40 sneak as a thief class, which basically robs your character of many levels. Add in the extra levels for archery, one handed, block, alchemy and what have you and it nearly robs your character of 30 levels. If you were not using the uncapper, it would be hard to reach level cap just doing what your class does best. Meh...'fluff.' Bleh. It is fluff. But it's a type of fluff I enjoy. It really fits my character well. Going for the whole - survival Kahjiit play-through. I don't plan on steamrolling the game. I turn up the difficulty to master and go for an extreme challenge. The ability to 'size up' mobs from afar and craft a telescope that works with it as well makes me able to strategically plan my assault, or advance. It's a nice mod, I like it, just didn't feel I needed it because while it was quite useful when my character was just starting out, I found I wasn't blocking at all after hitting a high armour rating where I wasn't taking much damage from MOBs except from Deadly Dragons (and blocking those puppies won't help much unless you are using a shield). I also play with a X360 controller so couldn't spare an extra button just for blocking without editing the controlmap. The two major issues with the mod are 1) sometimes stops working properly after a while and need to be toggled in the MCM; 2) running scripts that doesn't use quest alias so it can't be halted and sticks to your save game like super glue. I will experiment with this on a play test. I plan to test the game for a day or two straight, just testing mods and basically seeing if my game will break, without intentionally doing anything stupid. It could end up dropped. You might be able to fit it into your load order without issues. Weapons on back isn't working properly though, because there is no weapon draw/sheath sound. For some odd reason that no one has figured out yet, the weapon/drawing sheath sound in Skyrim is apparently tied to the animation files rather than the weapons (even though you can edit weapon sounds in the CK by editing the weapons). The need for proper animation is why the mod had to use elaborate methods to implement back sheaths and back shields. The simpler way to implement back sheaths and shields on back would be to simply edit the skeleton. In fact, I am using XP32's skeleton for my custom race character, with the animations stripped out, which provides back sheaths with drawing/sheathing sound for all swords without the need to edit meshes to reposition the swords (so all vanilla and modded one-handed swords can be back sheathed), just not the proper back draw/sheath animations (since I stripped those files to get weapon draw sounds) and no back shields and dual sheaths. So yeah, DSpSoB is the best of it's kind since ATTT has been pretty much abandoned. I really blame it on Bethesda for dropping the ball on dual wielding. At the very least, dual sheaths and dual draw animations should have been in. It really makes me sad that DSpSoB is really poorly optimized. You would think that it would be one of the best, if not thee most popular mod to many, many people. Duel sheaths and dual weapons is very attractive. Not only that, it adds to the immersion. I cannot tell you how much I hate pulling an extra sword out of my character's tail hole, because there is no graphics for a second sheath. I am not sure how heavily scripted this mod is, but it was not related to my crashes before. Doesn't mean it cannot be later, but I am praying this mod is stable for a play-through.
  16. There is one more overhaul I want to throw in my load order and that's Better Vampires. I got confirmation it's 100% compatible (Not sure what Dragonborn did to it, if anything) and doesn't conflict with SkyRE. I've tested my game a few times for a few hours, had a single CTD when loading the RaceMenu, which doesn't worry me. I also installed the lowpolly hairs to load on the females when switching, to prevent CTDs if possible. I am just working out the smaller mods and getting Interesting NPCS installed. I like the full version, and it's around 1.2gb. Once I figure out my smalls, and get my utilities installed I will move onto SkyRE and ReProccer. Let us all pray.
  17. It also looks like the main MO page is getting reports of ReProccer not working correctly, which is extremely disheartening. Without ReProccer I cannot make my game balanced with my custom armors and wepon mods. Which may make me postpone this build until support is added through MO. Alot of people use SkyRE, that feature needs some attention if it really doesn't work. Only time will tell when I get there.
  18. SkyRE is 100% compatible with Deadly Dragons as even recommends you download this mod. SkyRE touched nothing with dragons. Also just for information's sake, there is a link striaght to character creation overhaul on his page, as it's compatible as well.
  19. Sorry for the late response. Had a bit of dinner. I can see removing: dynamic difficulty. - I think SkyRe handles this anyways. and, well I would like to suggest some points. For one, Character Creation Overhaul is a mod that adds races - birthsigns - classes - skills - specializations - aattributes. It's seriously amazing. http://skyrim.nexusmods.com/mods/21587 ( It has nothing to do with your face =p ) Guess the distance is an amazing mod that I like to use in unison with the telescope mod. It may not be required, but it's simply too awesome and I don't think it's very script intensive. The SKSE and MCM support for a hotkey makes this mod fabulous. The Dance of Death - I LOVE killcams. And I mean love. The ability to remove the restrictions on last enemy, and set a % modifery value for killcams is just something I really would not like to give up if it causes no conflicts. Location Damage: This is a tough one. I really do like this mod. It makes combat very punishing and rewards you for playing smart. You can get hit in the throat and potentially bleed to death. Also gives you the ability to do headshots on monsters for instant kills. However it's compatibility comes into question with SkyRE and some research may be done, I could lose this mod without too much concern. Duel Wield Blocking + Duel Wield Blocking animation - Let me just say this is amazing. It worked perfectly for me in my game, and even leveled my blocking skill with the time I was able to test my previous load orders. The MCM Menu hotkey worked flawlessly, and was very responsive even on a 176 mod load order with everything running. I would like to keep this if possible. Better Dialogue Controls: I cannot tell you how annoying it is to click on a response and not have it be the one I was focusing. The main control menu for dialogue is apauling at best, (Unless Dragonborn fixed this) and I actually downloaded this to cure my needs. It's a very nice program. Achieve That: Basically adds hundreds of new things to do in game, and even can reward you for things you accomplish. I don't see why anyone would not use this, (Unless it's script intensive, which I have not researched) I honestly love the fact I can earn in game achievements and get rewarded for it. DSpSoB: Don't even get me started on the weapon skeleton mods. I am telling you right now, I HAVE TO HAVE ONE. The default weapon placement system is natrocious. I tried using ATTT but it was VERY buggy. But fun when it worked. It was actually causing me to level the weapons I had placed on my character. For example: ATTT - I had a bow on my back. When I struck an enemy with my axe, it leveled my bow skills. That was the end of ATTT. DSpSoB is a GODSEND. The ability to dual wield weapons on your back with sheaths is one of the reasons I wanted to mod anyways. I found the custom skeleton mod replacers and was very impressed. However if you can suggest something less buggy and script intensive, I am all ears. But I need something. Vanilla is just not my flavor in the area.
  20. I am getting my new cards tomorrow, so I don't think it will stress my new GPUs to the point where it's not possible. It would also be a nice change as I won't be running TesSky or w/e it's called, and let me enjoy some new sights. Once i finish everything if you could take me through it tomorrow, (or another day) I would apprecaite it. For now I need to remain focused and keep my order trimmed and clean. Yeah it's the strangest thing, not the ESP or BSA order, I am talking about the Installed Mods Priorty. I had CBBE fail to install, (It now has a fomod) I thought it bugged, but it was just upacking the files for the auto install. It put it in my installed mods list, but it was gray indicating there was no data folder selected, at the same time it moved EVERYTHING around. I have it all setup perfectly to overwrite files and such, and it just moved it all around and screwed it all up. Made me paranoid, so I started taking screenshots. lol. I have alot of 'small mods' I would like to use and need your opinion. This is a sample of them: Dynamic Difficulty. - (Auto scales difficulty by your combat performance.) Achieve That Better Dialogue Controls Catagorized Favorites Menu Character Creation Overhaul - (Compatible with SkyRE) Cloaks of Skyrim Winter is Coming Convenient Horses Realistic Ragdolls and Force w/ DSpSoB Custom skeleton for weapon placement. (Seen lots of scripts running in my Pap logs about this before) Duel Wield Blocking + Duel Wield Blocking animation. Interesting NPCS Locational Damage Guess the Distance Glowing Ore Veins Deadly Dragons The Dance of Death Probably a few more. I didn't want to flood the topic. Are these okay to use?
  21. I've contacted the maker of the youtube video and perhaps he can assist me. I am just ranting again. "It's JUST THAT EASY!" ....... x_x. No.. it's not. I actually like the idea of automatic Variants, but you made it sound script intesive. Would it be a bad mod for my order? Also I had a question. MO sometimes spazzes out and has ordered my list different and re-priortized things on it's own, causing me to have to take screenshots to remember their locations in case it happens in the future. Is there a way to save it so it doesn't do it again? Seems to happen when a mod fails to install properly.
  22. Even with the compatibility patches it -still- doesn't install correctly. So they are useless as far as I am concerned at the moment. They are made to fix the problem, and they don't quite clearly, 'fix the problem.' I might as well have to make my own patches, because all this program does is delete animations for my armor/weapon mods. Then they make a video on how to install it, and just dance through it like it's nothing. La di da? Seriously?
  23. I just watched a tutorial video for SkyRE: http://www.youtube.com/watch?feature=player_embedded&v=b7c2npQIgOo He basically runs Reproccer in seconds, and says, "It's that easy." If it's that easy then why do I get tons of weapons from my custom weapon/armor mods missing animations and giving me errors in TES5Edit? He states he is even using Immersive Amors, and Immersive weapons, and doesn't even have to install a compatibility patch to get it to function correctly? If that is true, then why does this mod exist? http://skyrim.nexusmods.com/mods/27092 ReProccer is by the far my biggest $*%^ing headache by far. I guess some just have it easy? And they click a button and it's done? So what's with the 30+ entries of white/gray weapons in the reproccer file stating the weapons are missing animations and sounds? Am I just the unlucky one? This seriously irritates me.
  24. I wish I could find some user made documentation for SkyRE on what isn't, and is compatible. It almost feels like the mod author only wants you to use his mod. Now, I don't know that for a fact, and I could be wrong. But if I was a mod author that received a constant stream of reports for incompatibles with other mods, I would build a list and either create a link on the description page, or just list them there and then. I have not visited his mod page for a while but last I checked there is not much information listed. Even BOSS gives a large warning about incompatibilities, but I cannot find any references as to what EXACTLY is not compatible with SkyRE. From what I can tell, it's a damage/skill overhaul. So anything that doesn't effect damage and skills should be compatible you would think. I have not done much research as my load order is not in those stages yet, but I can tell you my experience in game with SkyRe has been the best by far when I can get it to work. The amount of work you need to do to Reproccer your armor/weapons can be very time consuming and doesn't feel very user friendly.
  25. I read a few pages back Ripple and was successful at adding SkyUI. It's actually not that hard to use. Repackaging files only gives me a better understanding of a file structure. It feels good to be able to install this all manually, but I am dreading the time I am going to have to spend with ReProccer. Even if it -does- install correctly, I always get alot of weapon animations eaten and I have yet to learn how to custom set them manually. ReProccer is really going to be the true mod challenge in this build, as I am going to be using custom weapons and armors that I favor.
