Was it the mod itself that had illegal content? Or something else he uploaded? If I were to reupload Realistic Bullet Cracks, would that get me in trouble?

The two that come to mind are RealisticLights, which became Fr4nsson's Light Tweaks (the one I found under the author's name) and Bullet Cracks, which I got manually before the NMM supported Fallout 4, so I have no idea who the mod author is to look around.

No, they're just gone when I go back looking for them. One of them I found had been replaced by a successor with no notification and found it by looking for the author, but there's no sign of the other. I wonder if it had anything to do with that attempted hacking or whatever it was... But it vanished well before that, so I doubt it.

A few of the mods I've subscribed to have vanished by the time I go back to look for them a second time (usually to find a bit of information I need that I've forgotten). Two of them off the top of my head are Realistic Bullet Cracks (which replaces the whizz effect with a supersonic snap) and Realistic Lights (which corrects the issue with interiors being overly bright). I'm just curious as to why things like that are vanishing, especially when they're the only ones for it. Anybody have an answer?
