That's a scripting issue, for which I've made a fix. I was having the same issue, and it was fixed the moment I installed the first patch, so I figure it's an issue with the game not updating properly. Like Mikekearn said, try either reinstalling or validating your installation. To do that latter: 1.) Right-click Fallout New Vegas in your Steam library and click Properties 2.) Click the Local Files tab 3.) Click Verify integrity of game cache... 4.) Be prepared to wait for a while Is there an unofficial patch for those of us who might lack internet at home? Perhaps an official one I can download to a zip stick? I can't Update through steam as that requires a connection. And before anyone says anything, I am not typing this from home, but from work.
