Guys My Keypad is not working in oblivion

still not working even though its working elsewhere -
As the title says my keyboard's keypad is not working in oblivion, i cannot put shortcuts to items by using them and they also do not work in the console. PS: I am talking about the KEYPAD, the one which the numlock controls, not the straight line of numbers on top of the keyboard
