  1. Not sure what's causing this but snow foxes seem to be invisible in my game. They still have collision and if I use the console to "killall" then I can loot the corpse (if I can find it...) but they're not visible at all. Normal foxes are fine as are all other animals and creatures from what I can tell. I did attempt installing a fox mesh replacer modâ which is actually how I stumbled upon this problemâ but even after uninstalling it the bug persists. I've also tried replacing the Skyrim meshes .bsa file with a backup I had just in case that was the issue. Anyone know what could be causing this? Update: I managed to select one of the snow foxes via the "prid" command after some computer gymnastics and discovered the last mod to change the foxes' base was USLEEP. I've tried uninstalling and reinstalling USLEEP to no avail. Does anyone have any idea what could be causing this? It's driving me insane.
  2. So after some tinkering I've discovered that it seems to be an issue with all of the companions. I'm using Males of Skyrim as well and Farkas and Vilkas are both having the same issue as Aela. I'm beginning to believe it has something to do with my bashed patch or something.
  3. I'm using the Bijin series with the AIO option. I've tried reinstalling them and even putting them at the end of my load order but nothing seems to fix this issue. While I haven't tested every single NPC changed by the mods I have tested a good number of them and from what I can tell Aela is the only one being impacted by the bug. I'm assuming it must be a load order issue but I can't for the life of me figure out what that issue is.   4. Attempted to install JK's Whiterun by itself but ran into the same issue. I've also tried another city mod (Dawn of Skyrim) and had the same CTD upon entering Whiterun. Even tried disabling SFO and Realistic Water Two as I thought they might be the culprits but that didn't do anything. Nothing seems to work. :(
  5. EDIT: I'm getting CTDs when entering Whiterun with JK's Skyrim installed. As soon as I uninstall the mod everything works fine. I've used LOOT, tried rearranging a few things myself, and I believe I have all the necessary patches. Any help would be greatly appreciated.   6. Just looking for some animation mod suggestions. Preferably lore-friendly stuff and not the overly glamorized catwalk type stuff. Any and all suggestions welcome, from combat animations to idles and everything in between.
  7. So I think I discovered the issue. I'm using the XP32 Maximum Skeleton and that seems to slightly change the way in which the characters stand/sneak/etc. I'm pretty sure this is what's causing the issue. Not sure how I'd go about fixing this though without uninstalling the skeleton but that's not really an option. :-/
  8. Nope just using the CBBE vanilla body. I've also tried using the curvy, slim, etc presents but they all have the issue. It also doesn't change with any slider settings I've tried. I'm assuming maybe it's an issue with the conversion mod maybe?

So I'm using Immersive Armors and https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrimspecialedition/mods/13836?tab=posts to fit it to CBBE, problem is the barbarian and primitive nord armors are having some major clipping issues. When I open them up in bodyslide everything looks fine and when standing idle in-game things are fine too. However, as soon as my character's head turns or I enter sneak she has a massive wardrobe malfunction with her breasts just sorta enveloping the top. It's also worth noting that the string that runs along the back of the top clips into my character's side even when standing idle (this is not the case in bodyslide however.) It's also worth noting that a decent number of gauntlets (both vanilla and from Immersive Armors) have clipping issues with the hand peeking through them slightly. If there's a way to fix these issues using bodyslide or outfit studio I'd love to know. I've tried following some tutorials but all of them assume that the clipping is visible in bodyslide/outfit studio (which it is not for me.)
  10. So I decided to try out FO3 again and ended up following Gopher's old tutorial on modding it. With some tweaking here and there I've get everything working great, but I'm curious about the unofficial patch. I know that in the long, long ago Gopher advised against using the patch, but that was the old one. I was wondering if I should use the updated patch, and if so if it's safe to install after having installed all the other mods I have now.
  11. So I was using a mod which gave the glowing eyes from Dawnguard to the beast races. It was technically for Skyrim LE, but it worked fine on SE without issue. However, I recently decided to try some different eye textures for vampires which did not have a glow so to match the new humanoid and elven vampire eyes I uninstalled the glowing eye mod. To my surprise my Argonians and Khajiit now have soulless pits of despair where their eyes should be when they become vampires. I've tried downloading different texture replacers to no avail. Can anyone help me figure out the issue here? The mod I removed was https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/21996. P.S. I have tried this on completely new saves just to be sure it wasn't an issue with that and I still get the issue. Just thought I'd throw this information in there in case it's useful.
  12. I really, REALLY hate that your character becomes so pasty looking after becoming a vampire. I easily found a solution for beast race vampires, but I can't seem to find anything for the human and elven races despite the fact that I see screenshots everywhere with normal skinned vampires. Could anyone be so kind as to point me in the direction of such a mod (if one even exists)? Preferably I'd like it not to touch anything else as I like the vanilla vampire eyes, but that's not necessarily a deal breaker.
  13. So Honeyside in Riften is constantly being flooded with NPCs who just come in and use my things. I've tried using the console to move them outside, but they just walk back in, even if the house is on the other side of the city. After some Googling I discovered that this is a known bug, but I haven't been able to find any fixes. Is there any way to prevent this, or am I doomed to forever have people use my home as an inn?
  14. So I would've posted this on the mod page, but that doesn't seem to be an option. Anyway I've attempted downloading the non-Stormcloak version of the Routa home mod by Elianora, and everything seems to be working fine except that the banner on the outside of the house just below the dragon skull doesn't seem to appear. When using the Stormcloak version everything is fine, but with the non-Stormcloak version there's nothing there. I've seen pics on the mod page and elsewhere showing that a banner should in fact be there so I'm assuming this is some sort of bug, but no matter where in my load order the mod is, and no matter how many times I install it I can't get the banner to appear. Can anyone who's used the mod tell me what I'm doing wrong?

  18. So while trying to install the titular mod I was asked to overwrite something from the kill move mod VioLense. I asked on the mod page for Jaxonz Positioner, but it's been quite some time with no answer so I thought I'd ask here. Should I allow this? Are the mods incompatible? Thanks in advance for any info that can be given on this issue.
  19. So I'm using the alternate start: live another life mod and I chose the "I'm an addict in a skooma den" option. However, upon drinking the skooma and ending up in the cell everyone in the place goes hostile and attacks me the second they finish their little back and forth. I've tried this multiple times and it always has this issue. From what I can tell this is not what's supposed to happen so any help would be greatly appreciated. I do use Sacrosanct Vampires if that information helps.
  20. I've actually got my FPS capped at 40 due to my game liking to jump between 40-60 FPS on a whim if I don't. At 40 I get a nice solid FPS that doesn't make me sick while looking at it, lol. Anyway, I managed to somewhat fix the issue by removing the dog mod and a mod that adds small birds to the game. Seems the birds were knocking things over constantly so getting rid of them seems to have stopped some of the object displacement. As for the physics issue it seems to have disappeared with the dogs. I can't imagine why that mod would cause such a thing (or if it even was the cause), but removing the dogs seems to have fixed the issue so far. Maybe it was just a matter of having too many things spawned at once? IDK [shrug]. Either way I'll keep the thread updated if the problem comes back, or if I discover exactly what was causing it so people can avoid the issue in the future.
  21. So every time I enter Whiterun weird things begin happening involving the physics. Objects in the stalls will be thrown around everywhere, and in one case they began being pulled toward the inn very slowly in a very creepy fashion. The objects behind Jorvaskar also tend to fall through the tables leaving some on the tables in a frozen state such as apples remaining in the shape of the bowl they were in which has since fallen through the table to the floor. I've also noticed dogs added by a mod I have floating away into space. I thought maybe the dog mod was the issue since the dogs were the only NPCs I noticed being affected, but even after uninstalling I still seem to be getting the odd physics issues. I know Skyrim has a tendency to do some stuff like this, but the frequency and severity at which it happens in Whiterun is something I've never experienced before.
  22. As the title says I'm running into animals that are stuck in place and occasionally just float away slowly upward. It doesn't seem to effect all animals, and in fact not even specific types as I ran into 3 horkers and only 2 had the issue. On the other hand I encountered an entire pack of wolves with the issue inside a cave. While "frozen" the animals can still attack me if I get right in front of them, but they can't seem to move in any capacity and just stay there growling/snarling/etc.
  23. Thanks for the suggestions everyone. I ended up using Nvidia inspector and it worked like a charm. I did try limiting shadows and whatnot, and it did seem to stabilize my fps a bit more, but I honestly prefer the look of the game with everything enabled and running at 40 fps. Just looks way too pretty now not to keep everything at max, lol.
  24. Like it says on the tin. I want to limit my game's fps. I know, I know, "that's sacrilege! How dare you! PC master race! Blah, blah, blah." The fact of the matter is my fps shoots around like a yo-yo with my current setup ranging from 40-60, and it's not just an occasional thing it happens ever few seconds. This causes the game to be damn near unplayable as everything just looks laggy and messed up all the time. It even hurts my eyes to look at it sometimes for more than a few minutes. Anyway, I'd like to limit my fps to maybe 40, or perhaps even 30 as I've gotten quite accustomed to playing Skyrim on console again recently so that fps wouldn't feel too alien. Anyway any help would be greatly appreciated, and the simpler the method the better as I am using an ENB and some other graphical mods that I would hate to mess up by doing too much fiddling.   25. So I recently bought a Nintendo Switch. Great idea, glad I did it. Then I thought, "hey, I love that there Skyrim, and it's on Switch. I'm gonna go ahead and pick it up." Now this too seemed like a great idea, and for the first 18 or so hours of gameplay I was having more fun than I've had with Skyrim in ages. Now here's the kicker though. I do the quest to restore the Gildergreen in Whiterun and wouldn't you know it I get that old bug where the sapling grows inside of the old tree. Nearly 7 years and Bethesda still hasn't fixed this damn bug... Anyway, I have a save from before entering the sanctuary so I could go back and just redo everything and get the sap instead, however, I've got like 3 hours of gameplay that happened between then and turning in the quest so that is definitely not something I want to do. I do have a save from just before I turned in the sapling so I was hoping maybe there is some way to avoid the bug on console, or perhaps a way to fix it after it's happened? Anyone that can give me some information on this it would be greatly appreciated, even if the information is just that it's impossible and I'm S.O.L. (though I really hope that isn't the case...)
