I am now taking requests for those whom desire their player characters face to be as close to their real life face as is technologically and aesthetically possible. After all, there are SO many mods that are tailored specifically for advances toward the concept known as "immersion". Meaning when you play, you are playing with a visually identical virtual avatar of yourself thus the end goal result is that you yourself will be in the game as the main character. All that I need to make your custom mug are three easy-to-take pics of yourself. Just pretend you are at the DMV for the first time getting your DL like you did when you were 16. hehe Now we ALL remember how the experience of taking that driving exam, filling out the paperwork, and finally getting your picture taken for your brand new shiny clean "spiffy" DL was. lol And yes, I said "spiffy". <img src="http://forums.nexusmods.com/public/style_emoticons/dark/smile.gif" class="bbc_emoticon" alt=":)"> But anyway, back to the subject at hand, all I need are two pics of yourself from the neck up. One taken directl face-to-face with the person taking the pic and the person IN the pic. The second shot needs to be 90 degrees to the left AND the right. I need both of those side-shots because nobody has a perfectly symmetric face and bone-structure and I always put IMMENSE amounts of detail into my face make-ups. Yup, I'm gloating. hehe There is something that I need to make note of though regarding accuracy of how similar the player of focus and the resulting player character face may turn out to be. As I said above, I scrutinize every possible micro-detail possible, but there are going to be instances where the persons face is NOT easily modeled within the game. Given that fact, some results will be slightly better than others unfortunately. So take this as a little pseudo disclaimer that not all results will turn out to be spot-on identical manifestations in the end. Well, thats it folks, so feel free to toss me those three required pics of yourself and I will then begin that arduous task of busting my ass to sculpt your player characters face for ya's!! <img src="http://forums.nexusmods.com/public/style_emoticons/dark/biggrin.gif" class="bbc_emoticon" alt=":D">

I'm not entirely sure as to whether or not this post belongs in the troubleshooting or mod requests forums, but I just looked at which category had the most posts. lol But anyway, I was hoping that someone might help me out with the logistics and execution of making ALL 1H weapons relocated to the players back and applying the 2H weapons unsheathing animation to them. I know that there has already been a mod posted long ago called something along the lines of, "1H weapons on back", but despite my numerous attempts to get it to work consistently for what I'm imagining, it always falls short of my intended aesthetic result. I simply just cannot stand how the vanilla sheathed 1H swords stick out in a 45 degree angle from the players legs. lol Another location that I would actually like for them to be sheathed at is horizontally and centered at the lower back of the player character. The absolute perfect example of what I'm trying to describe is the location of Lightning's sword from Final Fantasy XIII. In spite of having trolled all over the FF wiki in hopes of locating a pic of the example I'm referring to, unfortunately to no avail though. Well, that's pretty much it for what I want to ask about, so PLEASE SOMEONE HELP ME OUT HERE!!! lol

Well, as the topic title says, this post is to throw the idea out there for craft-able furniture for players homes. Given the ungodly amount of players homes/abodes mods that there are on the Nexus, I am honestly kind of surprised that no one else has ever thought of this or attempted it. If someone has, then I shall stand corrected. But to the best of my knowledge, I haven't seen any kind of mods like this one I'm brainstorming over. As we all know, the coolest and most enjoyable part regarding a players home is the variety and market for virtually endless customization. The first thing that I think of when it comes to customizing my players abode is the furniture that populates the cell. Now I know that the mod titled, "Build Your Own House/Home" does kind of have the groundwork for the idea I'm proposing/requesting here because of one of the options in it is to add furniture to it separately from the rest of the house and structure overall. While I'm brainstorming here, I was thinking that the individual homemade custom furniture could also carry with it certain minor or temporary player boosts or advantages similar to the effects applied from enchanted weapons and armor. For example, there could be a chair/throne that could have the attribute boost of while you are sitting in it, you could gain certain minor effects like learning spells faster and leveling up faster. Well, thats pretty much my whole "schpeel", so let me know what you good folks think of this idea of mine.

I was just wondering if any modder on the Nexus has considered or theorized pursuit of the possibility of making the Warpaint removable or making it toggle-able. If this notion actually is plausible and possible to execute, I've also pondered making each of the individual Warpaint styles and colors to come with varied enhancements and effects So for instance, the Warpaint of the Black Hands logo (a full sized palm of a hand across the lower portion of the face that covers up the mouth, chin, and lower cheeks and jaw) could have an enhancement that spikes Stealth or Agility attributes when being worn. Or maybe it could even imbue all of the Shout spells boosts in damage effects accrued by them on the target/enemy. And by the way, that Warpaint of the Black hand logo is from a mod made by "Valstein0" of which is titled "vPaints". I urge everyone to check it out because it is actually really wickedly done in my personal opinion. Also, to actually obtain these specialized specific Warpaint varieties, you would either have to learn them from or purchase the tomes/books/how-to manuals from a vendor that has a little hobby and side-job of being a tattoo artist. The ink used for it would have to be made from scratch at the workbench. The combined ingredients to make said magical ink could vary greatly. As another example, one of the inks that boosts your defensive/armored attributes would have to be made from Diamonds ground down nearly to a fine powder/shards/dust. Diamonds are known as the strongest element on the face of the planet Earth, hence it's enhancement would be to increase defense-related or armor-fortifying boosts. :D Clever, yeah? lol j/k Another one I'd think would be cool is for one of the magical inks having one of its required ingredients be Rubies ground down nearly to a fine powder/shards/dust that would boost all of your abilities related to fire. The whole basis regarding the mechanic of creating items from a list of varied ingredients would be identical to making potions or whatnot, only this liquid being created wouldn't be advised to drink or orally consume. lol Now I think that the gemstone shards as an ingredient and inventory object unfortunately aren't in the vanilla game though. I'm also pretty sure they are out of the "Crafting 300" mod of which I obviously use. So if anyone happens to hopefully pursue this little brainstormed concoction of mine, they would have to contact the modder who created "Crafting 300" for his permission. I would do it myself, but I am absolutely all thumbs and have two left feet when it comes to scripting and molding/manipulating the games internal mechanics and whatnot. Well, thanks to everyone for having sat through and read-over this wee little wall of text which describes this goofy little idea of mine. :)

Ok, I am literally at my wits end with this friggin' little conundrum of mine regarding my frames-per-second/general performance. I am running 2 Geforce Classified 590's, 18gb of DDR3 ram, and an i7 X990 CPU overclocked to 4.00ghz on a G1Killer Assassin mb, and I am STILL not able to pull a steady 50fps. And my set of 590's by the way is the same a QUAD-SLI 580's for Christs sake!!! I have already done the whole "update drivers and close all open programs when playing" standard-operating-procedure rig-a-ma-roll but still with no noticeable improvement. I can run Battlefield 3 MAXED OUT and never see even a single nano-second of stutter. This is honestly driving me to the verge of pulling my damned hair out folks. Will SOMEONE please give me a little assessment on this absurd issue? I have also included my load order below in the spoiler code bracket so as to not make this single post so insanely long.

I love the whole "cybernetic enhanced dog" companion thing in almost every way. The one single element about Rex that absolutely and completely turns me off regarding him as my companion is the whole visible brain thing. I don't know precisely why, but it just rubs me the wrong way. I think its in the sense that to me, it kind of makes him look like less of a loyal man's best friend dog side-kick and more of some evil cruel science experiment that some sick misogynistic douche bag did just to see if he could as opposed to it having been done to save his life or some other noble humane reason. I just prefer the backstory and reasoning of why Rex has all of the cybernetic implants being that there was some kind of accident or he was injured helping or saving someone else's life and the implants had to be grafted onto him to save his life. But his brain, heart, and soul were all left uninjured and therefore unaltered. Basically, all that I want is for Rex to have a normal dog's head, meaning WITHOUT being able to see his frickin' BRAIN. lol There was a mod on the Nexus that I saw long ago where someone had swapped Rex's head out with Dog-Meat's from F3, but after searching for it for what seemed like an eternity, I assume it must have been taken down. That is actually EXACTLY what I am requesting though, but since I know that using a resource from F3 would probably piss someone off for being copyright infringement or whatever, any NORMAL looking canine model from NV directly would suit just fine. :) Well, now that I've gushed out my tree-hugging PITA-soaked reasoning, I just hope someone will create it!! lol And I can't friggin' stand PITA btw. ;)

MGS4 Haven Troopers (FROGs)
fightingdownfall replied to Wednezday's topic in Fallout New Vegas's Mod Ideas
All I want out of the FROGS gear is that shoulder holster/harness/gear that they wear on their left upper shoulder. I have been trying to find a cool place to holster some throwing knives that I made the models for and that is the PERFECT and really ONLY place that I want them to be sheathed and displayed. -
There actually was a mod package released under the title Stealth Suit MkII I think, but for whatever reason it is no longer on the Nexus. It had Snakes sneaking suit, his Tan/Sand tac vest, thigh holster, the optic mask, and the solid eye. Unfortunately though, they never actually worked properly due to some bizarre texture issues. Let me know through PM if you want more intel on it. ;)

Project Beauty for Vegas? or equivalent?
fightingdownfall replied to soot00's topic in Fallout New Vegas's Discussion
I'm actually trying to find New Vegas Redesigned on the Nexus but all to no avail, was it taken down? -
First off, thank you for being willing to help me out dude, I really and truly appreciate it immensely. But your method seems to have details that I'm not understanding I think. The problem being that not all of the mods I'm trying to find all of the subordinate support files for were installed using FOMM. Meaning I installed them by hand just using the "drag and drop in the Data folder and overwrite if prompted" method. lol Is there still any way that I could get your method to work even given the fact that a few of the mods I'm trying to transfer over and install in my clean start reinstall aren't listed in the "package manager installed mods list"?

As I said in the topics title, I'm hoping to find a way to quickly and easily locate all of the individual installed files attached to and associated with any given esp or esm. Specifically, all of the textures, models, sounds, and so on and so forth that are installed with and attached to an esp/esm. My reason for so desperately seeking this info is because I have decided to do a totally clean and fresh install of only my favorite mods and textures due to the fact that I cannot get the game to run properly now after having installed so damned many and the inevitable conflicts of having that massive of a number of installed mods has created. To put it in short, I'm simply trying to avoid having to go through every single damned installed texture and model located in the Data folder manually and by hand simply to locate which ones were installed by and required by their given esp's and esm's. Now obviously I would prefer to just go back and download all of them again and install them all through FOMM, but unfortunately my favorite and most important mods are no longer posted on the Nexus. Specifically, and my most important a favorite above all others btw, is the Book of Earache and the Tactical Weapons pack/vendor that is located in the open-air area of the GoodSprings gas station where that beaten up truck usually is. There are a handful of others as well, but those two are the most important to me. Any help, direction, input, or advice in general would be MASSIVELY APPRECIATED!! :D And I'd also like to preemptively thank all of the people that have at the very least taken the time to read through this little plea and cry for help of mine. lol ;)
