  1. 20. My only regret being not playing Morrowind before Oblivion.
  2. Mod: Beautiful People. I never play Oblivion without it. Which is something of a shame, because it rules out so many other cosmetic mods (I have yet to learn how to Wrye Bash). Race: Mod: Skyrim Khajiit | Vanilla: Breton Weapon: Mod: Anything Realswords | Vanilla: Fine Steel/Silver Claymores. Type of Weapon: H2Hor anything 2Handed. Type of Armour: Cloth/Light. Magic spell: Invisibility, by far. Hang out spot: I spend a lot of time in Frostcrag and Bruma. Food: Garlic. I always carry a chunk or 2. Daedra: Frost Atronach.
  3. Mage. +50 Magicka with no drawbacks? YES PLEASE. I don't have a particular favourite class, but I s'pose I'd pick Mage because so many of my characters tend to wear enchanted clothing rather than armour. I just like the look better (I never actually pick the base classes - I always pick my own skills, but Mage fits the description best).
  4. If not an NPC, an Illusion/Resto Mage with a minor in Destruction and a hobby of Alchemy. If an NPC, then Timothee LaRouche, (a sailor in Anvil) for one reason and one reason only:
  5. My 2 favourite styles are Resto Monk and Destro/Illusion Mage. Resto Monk has a lot of drains/heals, with H2H serving as most of the damage. I have to maintain a good Alteration skill too, because most of my defence comes from Shield enchants. Destro/Illusion Mage is all about Invisibility/Paralysis and Damage over time spells. Often times I can take on whole rooms of enemies (or ignore rooms completely).
  6. Two Words: WELKYND HOUSE. http://i76.photobucket.com/albums/j34/Nachtefuchs/Oblivion%20Screens/WelkyndHouseLowerRight.jpg http://i76.photobucket.com/albums/j34/Nachtefuchs/Oblivion%20Screens/WelkyndHouseLowerLeft.jpg http://i76.photobucket.com/albums/j34/Nachtefuchs/Oblivion%20Screens/WelkyndHouseBedroom.jpg http://i76.photobucket.com/albums/j34/Nachtefuchs/Oblivion%20Screens/WelkyndHouseUpperLevel.jpg
  7. How is there a newspaper, but no Printing Press? How is there glass windows in every city, but no Glassworks? There's water everywhere, but why are the only drinks you can buy are either alcoholic or magic? How come the amount of protection from armour is directly proportional to how much it weighs? Why does a Steel spiked mace do less damage than a completely smooth Glass one?
  8. Dammit, you made me choke on my TicTac! Glad to be of service ;D. Here lies Nachtefuchs, who got all choked up over Kvatch. and before I forget, "Here lies a Bandit. This tombstone was bought with the money found on him."
  9. I've seen similar things: Castle Staff travelling between cities, Othrelos (Journeyman Sneak Trainer) in Skingrad, etc... It seems the NPC's have more active AI than we give them credit for.
  10. Here lies Steel-Toe Steve, Who forgot his Water-Walker ring once. Here lies Top-Heavy Ted, who tripped over while Water-Walking. Dammit, you made me choke on my TicTac!
  11. I've had my fair share of cliff accidents, self-traps and lava-swimming, but the two stories that top the list are as follows: Story #1: I walked into an Oblivion gate and started doing my thing ('my thing' being killing everything in sight). I eventually found a Dremora caster (who we all know are freakin' marathon runners) who decided that the safest place would be the middle of the main tower. He was right - In my zeal to hack him down, I drew the attention of at least 7 other Dremora along the way. After fighting as many as I could, I ran out of potions/magicka. Knowing my limit, I ran until I came to a door and went through it. This particular door was one to a walkway to a lesser tower. I knew I hadn't cleared out that tower yet, so I didn't bother to move forward. Suddenly, I noticed a Dremora 'door phasing' to my right. I raised my claymore to block when I realised something - To either side of me was nothing but air. Once phased, the Dremora plummeted down I-don't-know-how-far to his death. So followed his 4 surviving brethren as they tried to chase me through the door. I spent the next five minutes laughing so hard my magicka had regenerated enough to heal up and finish closing the gate. Story #2: So I entered this Oblivion gate (see a pattern yet?) and proceeded to do many painful things to many, many Deadra. I wound up on another of the aforementioned pathways between the main tower and the lesser 'gate' towers. Somehow, someway and to this day I have no idea how, I'd been noticed by one Dremora. He happened to be on a separate pathway from mine. Not expecting an attack, I was hit with a damage spell. I turned to the direction it came from and saw the Dremora charge towards me. He charged DIRECTLY towards me, with a large amount of airspace between our separate walkways. I'm absolutely certain he did not survive the plummet. Edit: missed a crucial detail regarding actually going through a door and one regarding the differences between gates, towers and gate towers.
  12. I remember one instance where I made my way into a Goblin-infested cave, only to find that a raiding party consisting of 19 enemy Goblins (5 of which were Warlords) had cleared it out and were just behind the last door in the cave. I'm pretty sure I levelled up just from Block, Blade and armour skills rocketing. If only I still had that save file, oh how I miss you Fhyrus D: I too, share your pain.
  13. Nothing but Illusion. I can take out an entire fortress of Marauders without inflicting any damage. Invisibility, Command Creature/Humanoid, Paralysis, Demoralise, Rally, Frenzy... bending the wills of others. It's truly the most powerful tool of all, after all, A mind is a terrible thing to waste. Conjuration takes second place, as I need Turn Undead to fill my repotire of Commanding spells. Not to mention the fact I can then Summon Dremora Lords while half the enemy is either dead or under my control, and the other half is either fleeing, paralysed or rallying (with next to no HP left). Destruction is less fun because it's pretty much a necessity. That being said, I love my High-Elf-Instakill-Quad-Damage-Over-Time spells.
  14. Join the Mages Guild Train Train some more Become a Master Destruction/Illusionist Raid every Ayleid ruin I find for Welkynd Stones Set them up in my Cheydinhal Home. Oh wait, I did that already ^_^ Upstsirs Downstaris - Right Downstairs - Left Bedroom
