  1. So my end goal is to take this mod:

    https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrimspecialedition/mods/15938?tab=description

and combine it with archmage robes so that cuirass shows underneath the poncho. I don't see a lot of archmage robes mods out there and the ones that do aren't to my taste for one reason or another.

I'm still a beginner but so far I've managed to figure out how to paste the poncho onto the armor in the mod with nifskope. My current issue is the cuirass sticks out the chest of the poncho.

I've still got a lot of work to do like making the textures fit together and all that, but first I have to make this mesh look clean and not a mess of clipping.

Any concise resources or advice on where to go from here would be amazing. I've been looking at some video guides but I haven't really seen any that take a ground up approach that teaches how to make the most of the tools let alone which are the most effective ones to use.

Thanks for reading to the end.

  2. over time armor mods have been greatly seperated to help people have easier access to what they are looking for in particular. i have seen under the tags listed clothing mods, armor mods, weapons+armor mods for sets, they even came up with an adult tag to seperate the nudes and skimpys from the regular stuff. but i feel that at least one more setting missing, and thats the ability to seperate male from female armor mods. while i understand that the femdovakins are more popular to play than their male counterparts, i am one of those who tends to stick to my own gender when playing an rpg, and as such i am always on the lookout for cool new armors to fit a male character, whether it be a rogue, warrior, or mage. when i try to browse through armor mods i can't help but notice how many female armor and clothing mods i have to sift through before finding a single male armor, especially when dealing with a top 100 or top recent listing. thus i propose new tags to help people have an easier time searching for gender specific armor and clothing mods. if it was up to me i would seperate them into 3 categories, male only, fem only, and both(since there are those modders gracious enough to give us a choice with their mods). it would definately save people time if they are looking for a gender specific armor mod, i doubt i am the only person who feels this way(tho probably a minority). i realize that it would probably be a lot of effort to bother with for something so simple so i wont get my hopes up too much, but i will put the suggestion out there in the case that there could be a chance to have something of this sort implemented.

so yea i hope something like this gets implemented someday, it'll definately save me some valueble time whenever i decide to go armor hunting.
