  1. What does VR lack? A good game, with good longevity. Skyrim VR can deliver so many things that make VR amazing, great views, hand to hand combat, archery, the longevity. It's got the potential to save VR from being niche.

With mods, of course. It NEEDS mods. There's no way vanilla skyrim, even in VR, will keep people's attention for long. Skyrim VR could benefit so much from the ability to port mods from normal Skyrim. And not only that, there's something else VR is missing, or has a severe lack of: Porn. VR porn will be amazing. By enabling modding in Skyrim, you'd automatically have the porn as well.

VR Skyrim is a massive bundle of potential, but it really requires Bethesda to play their cards right. When their focus is set on things like making mods cost money, it seems like a slim hope indeed.

I'm still positive VR will become a stable market, but whether it happens now or years from now, can well depend on singular companies like Bethesda.

Just my two cents, though. :)

  2. Okay I deleted everything and downloaded BOSS installer instead, now works normally. I think it didn't like the .dll I had downloaded or it wanted some update from vredist-thingy from mickeysoft. Anyway I'm all good. *sigh*

  3. I try to run boss and I get this:

Then I delete BOSS, download it again and I get error "missing MSVCP120.dll"

Then I download MSVCP120.dll and put it in BOSS folder, then again I try to start and now I get this:

Just one of those days. :pinch:

  4. I only have vanilla Skyrim. I want to get all the DLC's, but I'm not sure what they affect or how they work with one another or if there's a canon etc. etc.

Should I get them all at the same time?

I guess installing mods would be easier if I had them all? I've already got like +5 mods I probably have to reinstall since they have different versions for Dawnguard stuff and stuff.

    Thanks! :)

  5. Hello,

I'm reinstalling Oblivion with mods, and I can't find my favorite butt bounce. It was a VERY distinctive up and down jiggle while running and walking. I can't give you an example, because there are barely any videos of butt bounces (which is baffling considering the amount of bbb videos with both FRONT and BACK footage) and the few there are have horrible BB's, but I can tell you that it was NOT as tiny as this (can barely see any movement here):

  6. Hullo,

I've lost my Oblivion disk, so I'm planning on buying it on Steam: this worries me, because two years or so ago, I heard alot about how people with Steam Oblivion couldn't install this or that mod.

So, does anyone have experience on how Oblivion on Steam pans out?

    Theenx!

  7. I installed FXAA Post Process Injector to increase bloom and my game looked like this:

Then I uninstalled FXAA, and installed SweetFX Shader Suite to get better Anti-aliasing. At some point I noticed my game is looking horrible, and even after uninstalling SweetFX - AND after reinstalling FXAA - my game continues to look like this:

    :wallbash:

It's like there's some constant HDR grainy effect. You can especially spot it looking at the mountain side on the right.

    Halp! :(
