Alright I miss understood. So for the best price to future proof ratio the 780 to its the way to go. That way I can later but a second and so I them?
-
So it sounds like I should wait for the 790 in that case.
-
It's something wrong with the 780 ti?That's pretty close to my top end budget.
-
Understood. Thanks for all the info. I'll be saving for the new 4790k and probably go with the 780 to, just to try to make it less obsolete proof. Thanks again for all the info

Wow, I had no clue I was that bad at this, lol. I honestly know nothing about over clocking and was hoping what I chose would work well "out of the box." However if doing so allows me to save money on parts I would gladly consider it. Only reason I choose the Full tower/water cooler was on a recommendation from a friend who builds/repairs PC's freelance.

Hello everyone, I'm looking at building a somewhat future proof gaming rig capable of running my games at max settings. This is only my second vuild so please let me know if something could be swapped out for a better component. Thanks http://secure.newegg.com/WishList/PublicWishDetail.aspx?WishListNumber=32973588

I forgot to mention I am using Skyrim Redone, for the fat that the Wayfarer perks tie in well with Hunterborn, Frostfall and RND. I appreciate everyone's advice thus far. I'm starting to get a feel for what I need to do to get the immersion up.
-
What helps with my DnD immersion is the interaction with other players and their reactions to my decisions. Whereas in skyrim there are only a handful of different outcomes to a situation and the NPCs are scripted to react a certain way

Hello everyone, I have has Skyrim since release day, and LOVE it. It's a fantastic game, however, that's all I've ever been able to see it as, a game. I hear all these stories of people and their immersion and sticking to character, and it all sounds like great fun. However I have never been able to do that. Even with Frostfall, Hunterborn and RND installed I simply see them as game mechanics and not "immersive" I want to get immersed though, I used to LOVE playing DnD and would love to get that feeling from Skyrim, however, for one reason or another I cant seem to get myself to stick to character or get immersed. I'm constantly looting everything to sell for hold and not just what my character would loot. I'm spending my days hunting and skinning animals outside of Whiterun and not even bothering to look for the damn dragon stone, even though the Jarl told me its of high priority. Something in my head keeps letting me know this is a game no matter what I try. Any tips or guidance on getting immersed and lost in the game?

I had no idea mods would interfere with helgan, it didn't occur to me that scripts for stuff like Frostfall and RND would conflict. Thanks for the information Ill be sure to make that save after helgan cave rather than the one just before the character creation I had been using. EDIT: As an aside, the problem persisted outside of helgan. From what I experimented it seamed the looting animation conflicted with the corpse collision, making them spazz out and sending them on wacky paths.

Bumping for help.
-
Never mind. Corpses are sliding again. Help?
-
I think I fixed it XMPS was conflicting with Ragdolls. I disabled XMPS (Was using it for Dual Sheath, but that was buggy for me) and no sliding! Bummer though, I like the 1h on the back.
-
I checked again and its clutter too. Lanterns and such are sliding with the bodies to one position in the wall.

I recently did a fresh install of Skyrim to clean out corrupt mod saves and install some new mods. However I have ran into a new issue. After I kill the first two stormcloak's in Helgan keep the corpses start to slide towards the wall, then partially up it. This happens in the potion barrel room as well, leading me to believe this will be an ongoing issue. I have ran FNIS for all my animation/skeleton mods as well as ran BOSS so I don't think that is the issue. Any way to solve this? My load order Thanks for any and all help

This is a recent problem and I cant think of any reason why it would pop up now, as I haven't recently installed any mods. When I go to any crafting station, be it grindstone, tanning rack, forge, what have you the crafting menu will appear only for a moment before disappearing, showing only the animation blued in the background. If i use Shift and Tab to open the steam browser it appears behind the steam window but disappears after closing it. I've double/triple checked my load order and see no conflicts. Any thoughts as to what is causing this?

Yes. I went indoors, waited five minuets before uninstalling via the guidebook. I then saved and quit, uninstalled Scenic and re launched Skyrim. Waited a few minutes again and saved once ore. Odd thing is Vanilla carriages work, but once I activate the mod they don't give the dialogue option.
-
I just downloaded this mod as Scenic Carriages was not working. However, when speaking to a driver, I am given no dialogue box/travel options. The driver simply speaks a line of dialogue. I used a clean save and have tried it with more than one character, still no dice. Any advice?

Hey everyone, Recently I have began experimenting with different ENB's. I think they add a great visual flair and the added DOF is AWESOME for taking screen shots. However, I personally find it difficult to play with the DoF left on. Whenever I walk/run anywhere the foreground and background are constantly shifting focus and the "popping" between the two make it very distracting. I know most people LOVE DoF and play with it on, so I am wondering if I am doing something wrong in the settings? IS there a way to keep the focus from shifting so dramatically and frequency, or is it just something I have to get used to? Thanks for any advice, D0C

Clean Install - Skyrim has stopped responding.

Just to cover all bases I unchecked and deleted the HighResTexturePacks from the data section of the launcher. Within five minuets it crashed again. I just clean installed it, how can it be crashing already? -
Last night after installing some mods my Skyrim began to crash at random intervals. Removing the new mods did not solve it so I went ahead and de-activated all mods and deleted/re-installed Skyrim to give myself a fresh slate. I currently have no mods installed (aside from Dawngaurd, Harthfire, Dragonborn and the official texture packs my load order is empty. I decided to do a test run of the new install and I still experience crashes. It is still at random intervals, sometimes after opening my inventory, sometimes after swinging a weapon. These crashes are recent and I have had the texture DLC since it came out, I dont think that is the issue. Any ideas as to what is causing this? Thanks, D0C Edit: Figured my PC Specs would be Helpful AMD Athalon II Tri-Core 3.5 Ghz AMD Radeon HD 7750 1 GB VRAM DDR3 12 GB Corsiar DDR3 Ram

That's good to know, while it may be time for an upgrade, I am glad to know that that may not be the main reason.

Hello everyone, Recently my Skyrim game has began to have lag spikes, typically around towns. I don't think it is the GPU as that is fairly new. (When I say lag spikes what I mean is the game will freeze for a few seconds, then resume, for maybe about five seconds, then freeze for three, and unfreeze, sometimes its for longer, sometimes its less frequent, I have no clue what causes it) When I run system motoring on my G510 while playing my CPU runs at/around 70% while my RAM is running close to 80% my current specs are: AMD Athlon II X3 445 (3.0 Ghz) 4 GB DDR3 RAM (2 2GB sticks) Radeon HD 7750 Is it ether my CPU or RAM that is causing this? Both are relevantly old, by technology standards (1.5 years) Thanks in advance

Sorry, but which drivers do you mean. I have not heard of any 'beta version' drivers for my GPU, CPU, ect.
