Thanks for the reply, i just finished re-installing the game and the addons went straight to create a character and the models where there this time, but what i do not get...last year when i last played i was fine and my game is pretty heavily modded and had no issue's then BAM the model thing happen, idk it may have been a mod conflict or something...
Now the fun part gets to start, i have to re-add all my mods as iv saved them all in some folders and my programs/utilities, gotta learn how to do all this again, this part i hate lol it's annoying when you feel stupid again because it's been soooo long >.<
P.S. i just remembered do i have to update my game somehow with patches if i have the Ultimate edition? i cannot remember if it was already patched or not
Sorry for the noob question, been awhile and i can't remember everything lol

Long story short i use to play Dragon age: Origins and i have quite a few mods installed ( been so long i do not know which i have, didn't check ) i remember before i quit playing something glitched on my character creation screen, the male and female models are invisible and i don't think i was able to play either...i cannot remember, anyways, i decided to fire it up and i deleted my char which was around 120 hours of playtime..went to make a new character for a fresh start, and BAM i totally forgot about the glitch or conflict or w/e as i never fixed it...now i'm curious is this a glitch in the game, or a mod conflict possibly?
Thinking about just uninstalling the game and removing the mods then adding them back in 1 by 1, which i know i didn't really have any conflicts because i remember i made more than 1 char and had no issue's at all, it just appeared out of the blue o_O
TL;DR character creation is bugged and has no models to start a new playthrough, glitch or mod conflict, should i uninstall and reinstall the game?

EDIT: Iv decided to go ahead and uninstall everything currently re-installing the game once more ( ultimate edition if any are curious ) but id still like to know if anybody knows or has any thoughts on what might have caused my issue?

That's good to hear, as for mods i don't think i'v heard of the Quests and Legends before, may have to look it up!
One thing i do agree with you on is the choices and many replays there is, i myself have only played a 'good' type of player so far, yet i find evil/bad a lot of fun lol, if i remember correctly iv never really tried all companions let alone a basic 2h warrior and a ranged archer ( my last character when i played )

its either missing meshes or textures from mods you have on, just reinstall them from the original download
or its likely to be a bad load order, you need to get the tool to reorder the loadlist, put major scenery altering things first, item adding things later.(there is a forum topic sticky somewhere about this)
and have you run a leveled list merger with the tool?
you could always reinstall entirely, sort through your mods, get rid of ones you dont really need.
I have used a leveled list merger, i was starting to sort out my mods with the morrowind mod manager, but not 100% sure how i should arrange them, been awhile since i played and modded my games...i'll tinker around with this stuff some more when i get around to it just be busy doing other stuff and hardly playing anything really...if i still have issue's i'll reply back here with an update..and 'maybe' i'll do a list of all the mods i have >.<

That's a first...normally i see the wood get glitched on the axe and his hands and yet still chops wood and does not go away for a very looooooooooooooooooooong time lol xD

You're late to the party...very late, everybody already knows about this and most idiots do this...i personally never did because it's stupid and makes the game more boring, hell i'm already bored of the game, played too much and nothing to keep me going ><

I really wish this would come out NOW LOL, i love it, will be using the grid UI, and it also has a certain...morrowind feel to it :)
and yes this UI was designed around mouse+keyboard NOT you controller people..you're the reason we get so upset over the UI it sucks
wish they would update with a new thread as that thread has been locked for awhile and iv been watching this UI overhaul since it was first shown public

Ok so i'm kinda in a stump with games and not sure which to play..and really bored with Skyrim, never did finish my Dragon age 100%
i did the main story twice, started awakening never finished, same with dlc's never did them all...just the few that was in-game not like golem and witch hunt those kind, etc...
anyways to the point, really love dragon age: Origins ( never played da2 ) and was wondering if this community is still kicking and mods are being made ( i have downloaded quite a bit in the past, but never tried the editor myself yet )...people to chat with and etc?

Hello all,
I'll just get straight to the point...after a very long break from Morrowind, i have decided it's time to start playing again, so i installed it, and dug out my mod folders for Morrowind...problem is i have installed mostly everything but i have conflicts which i cannot figure out what is causing it, i knew i would have some issue's as you normally would when you install tons of mods..so far from what iv seen is these issue's.
I cannot go into 3rd person because the view glitches out and is bright red and some other colors or whatever, and if i'm a female ( i tested with both sexes ) it's even worse her whole body mostly goes invis with the weird graphic colors but the hair stays, i should also mention when in 3rd person my fps drops from way over 100 to a flat 5 or sometimes below that, and if i do not go back into first person it will crash the game, some other conflicts iv noticed which iv yet to find the issue(s) that are causing it, all the books in the game pretty much messed up and have a huge yellow ! and the smiley face icon etc, it's gotta be a mod that effects books, and some other miner glitches iv seen with conflicts which i would have to edit the files in the editor to fix, like i did once before.
What i do not understand is the last time i played and installed everything was in mid January...i did have some conflicts even some of the minors that i'm not having and did fix them, but i never had the conflicts with the books nor the fps issue or the 3rd person conflict....
I thought about typing out a huge list in a spoiler tag listing all my mods, but i have about 200 or so give or take a few...and that would take awhile, so my only guess is..does anybody have ANY idea(s) on how i can start to fix these issue's because at this point the game is not playable at all, either i can fix them, or uninstall the game and mods, then redo everything ( would really hate to do that as it takes a long time )
P.S. i don't know if this is a glitch or something but i had to add in the bik movie files from the disk manually because for some odd reason when i installed the game again they didn't get put into the directory as they normally would, i couldn't launch the game without them, it's fixed now though lol.

horizontal listing of categories doesn't work very well. there's already a mod that implements it. i tried it, and it sucked hard. Especially when talking to merchants, or when crafting potions.
If you're talking about the QD UI mod, i have that and even though i read tons of comments and people having issue's iv yet to even see anything wrong or have problems using it....have used it for quite some time now, and i do mean a lot of time lol

None, never get random dragon attacks...EVER, i don't fast travel so i don't get random dragons ALL the time :P

Creation kit, i hate xmas, but i do have something to keep my busy, i installed morrowind again last night, but iv yet to play...working out all my conflicts after installing all my mods and textures again ><

Seriously, the whole key mapping is completely hopeless. What? keys 1 - 8 and one for a shout/power?
In a game as vast as it is (including incredible moddability) this is totally gimp.
We need more than 9 keys to do stuff. Let us map the whole keyboard if we want.
I also hate having to go into the menus to select and rebind on the fly.

I feel the same way although iv not done s*** for factions or main quest, putting those on hold for awhile, kinda stopped playing ( have a level 41/20/and i restarted about 4 times on the level 40 )and reinstalled morrowind yesterday and workin on adding in all my mods again....will keep me busy for awhile till january :)

i have two char's one is 41 ( killed about 8 or so dragons ) and another is 20 ( killed 1 ) the only ones iv ever seen is also in the story and the ones guarding the word walls, iv never seen any random encounters...the only thing i can think of is fast travel because i never do it and every time i read somebody complaining there are too many dragons or they spawn to quick is because they fast travel....so there ya go fast travelling breaks the game ;P

use any of those while in a village or city and spawn bandits for the guards to fight!

I just remembered that it has no effect when you join many or even all the factions, as in morrowind had tons now we got just 4 or so, and you couldn't join all because some hated others and you did things that would take effect on the other ( i.e. fighters guild and thieves guild faction wars )
morrowind also had 'houses' you could join and even create your own stronghold ...ok damnit i'm installing morrowind and my 200+ mods again, all this takin makin me want to play again -.-

yea i gotta agree, but unlike you even in oblivion i felt the same way because of the way you could join all factions and still be a jack of all trades, it annoyed me, and it's even worse in skyrim i think, i also miss how each faction you needed skills at a certain level in order proceed or even rank up :/
don't get me wrong i really do like the game, i just started over from my lvl 41, 20 now, but i think i'm gonna stop and take a break till january or so :/
