  1. I don't understand what the point of not wearing armor as a mage is. Unless you sneak why wouldnt you want heavy armor?

cause then you just look like a brute instead of a magi

  2. Thanks. Just depends on whenever the CK comes out. Invisible, unsourced liights are a terrible idea. Caves should be dark... that's why they are caves and not say... outside.

You have my support as well, i really do want another dark mod just as the previous games, ( includes fallout 3 and NV )

good thing i play a warrior on my first play through, otherwise my stealth character would be disappointed :P waiting for the darker interiors mod.

any news when a new patch or the CK coming out, btw?

I'm currently playing an overpowered stealth dagger dark elf, it does suck that i can ninja stealth everything with 1 hits ( besides the dragon i stealth killed today with 5 hits ) needs to be more dark!!!

and yes, the patch has been announced "The current estimate is that they will be live the week after Thanksgiving. "

  3. plain and simple...yes it is cheating, not gonna delve into it any deeper than that

want to carry more? stop carrying around stuff that's junk, no spoons, no pots, no bowls, no flowers, no forks, no plain shirts, no boots, no pants, limit yourself to what you really need, and a price system works too, say don't pick anything up that is less than 1000 gold, it takes me forever to get my inventory filled and i do not even fast travel one bit, i do just fine! ( master difficulty also <---piece of cake setting imo )

  4. How about actually making the cooking feature necessary? Like making your character eat and sleep. Would add to the immersion and make hunting all of those elk a lot more useful. You wouldn't even have too look to hard to find food given the abundance of salmon and the like, you'd just have to carry some salt with you and take a quick swim.

At the moment people don't even need to use beds anymore like they had to in Morrowind and Oblivion to level up. There's no point in sleeping except for the small bonus. And if you're a werewolf there's no point in sleeping at all since you wouldn't get the bonus anyways.

wait for realism mods...come to think of it, really don't get how new vegas had this feature but skyrim didn't i mean there are realism mods dating to well as far as i know..morrowind...which i have installed ( the mods i mean )

love the realism, and yes beds are useless in skyrim pretty much now -.-

  5. Ok while this sort of subject has probly been beaten to death i just wanted to though my current ideas out there ;]

    • Master Difficulty
    • Death Requires Revert To Save In Last Town
    • Level Up Requires Town
    • No Making Potions
    • No Spec'ing Into Restoration Tree (Using spells is fine just no perks)
    • No Fast Travel Besides Carriages
    • No 3rd Person Besides Looking At Your Character For Fun ;]

Basically I was doing the whole restart your character (i was starting from lvl 1 in whiterun no perks spent) on death, but ummm i kinda died in really fail ways ex. i feared an assassin into a group of ice wolves :/ my poor little breton got 2 shotted

So this is my way of bringing some scattered thoughts together to make the death punishment still harsh but while not so harsh that you would really just not want to play.

    So what do you think?

This is just what i think but here i go

I play on master 100% of the time, straight from the start of the game....it's easy mode and not hard enough!!!!!

No fast travel besides carriages? i do the same because i hate fast travelling and the carriages are fine as morrowind had the silt striders and they too went to the major cities

no 3rd person unless looking at your toon? idk about anybody else but i switch from 1st and 3rd person all the time, not just when exploring but even in combat...

  6.

that link is not fully accurate..i have the game guide and i know somebody who is level 81 currently )

As the game guide says pretty much there is a soft cap of 50 ( due to there only being 50 perks) but there is no actual level cap itself ( pretty much the max cap will be 255 just as the past games have been ) and it also says you can max out every single skill but not be able to have every perk as this would be too powerful and there are only 50 you can use out of the 200 perks they have listed..it did say also theoretically if you were to try and max every skill out from the start this alone would lead you to about 80 or so...not sure how so but that's what the book itself says..i was reading it earlier so i cannot remember word for word

  7. depends how you look at them, not linear and choices have consequences, just as new vegas, witcher, witcher 2, and MANY other games...good thing too actually i think, adds to the game..i hate being forced to play 1 sided...for example, in New vegas i really hate the NCR and side with everybody else against them...

witcher 1 i really enjoy the elves side more than the order, as for neutral, never finished it yet, on hold atm...witcher 2 iv not went back to play since they released 2.0 darkmode and never got past the first town in act 1 ( flotsom ) lol

  8. wear a thicker hood and get some robes to match, or don't look that close to the front part of your face, issue solved

EDIT: or do what i do, when i play a female in RPG's i NEVER wear any type of helmet or anything that covers my head/face/hair...gotta look pretty!
