Hopefully this is something that can be fixed pretty quickly with modding. Fallout3/New Vegas had only three equipment slots (head, body, face), and it did not take long to get more slots added for new items or items imported from Oblivion.
plus another change they did in Skyrim, is the ability to only wear 1 ring this time :(

why not go a hybrid and do both? pure builds are plain and boring ( atleast for me lol ) magic is and has always been powerful, so much so that it has been over powered, idk if it still is in skyrim though...
as for the race differences refer to THIS as they have some changes from the last games, and figure out from there

yea i noticed that as well...i miss having each piece seperate and be able to wear things over armor for instance....you could wear a rob and a cuirass...tried to do that just awhile ago on my darkelf, can't wear a black robe and armor at same time -.-

I'm quite fond of the Skyrim battle cries, more so then the ones of oblivion's. Oblivion's were jokingly offensive, and honestly no one tells jokes while in combat. Skyrims seem a bit more serious.
no really jokes, but more along the lines of taunting your enemy

I don't think it's cheating, you don't gain anything from it, you just save a lot messing about.
It IS cheating, and you DO gain something from it,
you gain the ability to not have to go back to a village and sell your new loot off, do not have to go home to store new loot, do not have to do anything related to crafting wise etc...or atleast puts it off untill you reach the max you cheated it to...
if you have such an issue with carrying things, stop picking up everything and limit to what will ACTUALLY help you or be worth something good...like set a limit to price wise like " i will not pick up any items to sell unless it is atleast worth #######"
another good thing is make companions carry your loot for you
stop being such a pack rat =P

In oblivion i followed him from city to city a few times lol, and everyday at noon he spends 5 hours searching for calipers xD

'Story: Bethesda Game Studios' latest Elder Scrolls game, Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim, has exceeded expectations from critics, and appears to be doing pretty well commercially, if figures on the Steam gaming network are anything to go by.

Glad to see this game beating MW3 for the number one spot on Steam, in terms of playing at least...
78k last time i saw were playing that game...but it was PC ONLY
console's is where it shines, i can vouch for that as iv seen the numbers the game has when they release them...like black ops last year, saw my cousin play it, and for the first 2 weeks it had over 10 million online at once playing ( xbox 360 ) numbers are not accurate to say it beats it ( should atleast mention pc version they got the ratings from lol )

i assume you've never played the past 2 games? (morrowind and and oblivion )he is an easter egg ( as some people say ) very funny kitty too hehe, looks good for his age ( 226 as i was told )
pretty much he speaks the truth half the time..half is a lie half is the truth, can sometimes lead you to treasures if it's true ( anybody remember morrowind reference's? ) he also relates to certain things on some of his sayings, for instance;
"Nords are so serious about beards. So many beards. M'aiq thinks they wish they had glorious manes like Khajiit."
^Reference to the possibility of adding facial hair such as beards to your character, not possible in Oblivion.
"The people of Skyrim are more open-minded about certain things than people in other places."
^Refers to the more tolerant nature of Necromancy in Skyrim, as well as the allowance of same-sex marriages.

I've read somewhere that if you use showracemenu, it disables steam trophies.
I don't know if anybody cares about those, though. :)

nah the achievement blocks are a joke, i tested it a few times, i had tgm tm tfc tcl coc qasmoke showracemenu and a few others just to test it during some of the achievements they listed, unlocked achievements just fine with cheats lol....but still don't use cheats unless i wanna have some fun every now and then *evil grin*

This is going to happen for every game. People playing Oblivion miss things in Morrowind. People playing Skyrim miss things in Oblivion.
But anyway, I did like that there was actual "intense voice acting" for battle in Oblivion, but I do NOT miss how everyone sounded like they had a brain slug on or was generally retarded. In Skyrim most everyone just seems so moderate and non-excitable, and lack SO much emotion in wayyy too many cases. I'm getting sick of the voice acting again, even though there's like 6x as much voice acting. Way way way too much repetition, and people just don't shut the hell up in shops and buildings, and the same string of 12 lines gets repeated every 3 minutes while I'm sneaking around stealing or making potions.
@1: I feel more close to Morrowind than Oblivion, while i play Skyrim.
@2: I think it has to due with the cold, everybody is cold hearted and brutes, no need for emotion and chit chat
@3: Only real problem i have is with the damn dogs that you can have follow you as an ally, they bark way to freaking much, and they for some reason LOVE to push me out of the way while i stand still or even worse, when i try to aim my bow while sneaking, so annoying, not to mention they are awful when trying to sneak they won't let you...get caught everytime pretty much -.-

I don't know about the rest of you, but i really feel they're making the games too easy and more of a jack-of-all-trades instead of specific builds, as getting rid of skills is making it easy to be a master of everything, morrowind had what? 27 skills? then like 21, now 18.... -.-

Nope, never increased my total weight, before i restarted my toon i was lvl 18 1/2 with around 340 i can carry, didn't even have an issue and i don't even fast travel at all ( the carriages i use from time to time as those are pretty much silt striders from morrowind lol )

Marcurio is a male Imperial magician available for hire at the Bee and Barb in Riften for 500 gold coins. Marcurio is incredibly powerful on offense. He uses Arcane Magic and generally is very intelligent when it comes to picking and choosing his spots. As a Mage he's obviously fragile defensively but he can kill almost anything in 3-4 spells. He will, however, equip any armor you give him. While he can equip a weapon and shield, he will never use them in combat.
I just got into a fight vs 2 dragons and while i was shooting arrows and killing the 1st dragon the 2nd dragon was left on half hp by Marcurio.
how well on master setting? as i play on that ( btw i seen him for hire but didn't at the time...wasn't sure if i wanted him lol )

honestly iv never read any books in the elder scrolls or any rpg, mainly due to my ability to not read books in real life as i don't have the patience or attenspan to read them, i get bored to easy..but i really should start to read these books in-game since i already role play some and never fast travel and walk in towns/builds and don't really run/sprint in them lol
EDIT: i should mention i do open books for the things they give sometimes, but i don't actually read the book itself....may start though

Amen to that. I'll be doubling all the attack damages and probably the size as well. I'll also be cutting the number of dragons in half. There will be so much tweaking to do...

As i keep playing and getting farther i'm hearing all these things about the past and the other regions, let me give some examples
In morrowind i heard the dunmer fled their homeland because of Red Mountain exploded or something and a city sunk into the earth ( just from what i remember as i heard this a few days ago )
Cyrodiil was invaded by elves ( i forget the name of the order...but iv met a few of them in skyrim ) and they had a huge war divided the region, the dark brotherhood order there was destroyed or lost not sure, the night mother is being moved to skyrim because of the war in bravil...i guess they said the order in skyrim is the last of the brotherhood, as the order is fading...and they no longer follow the tenets at all,
The thieves guild is fading and not great anymore ( i just joined them and the brotherhood and this is all i know about the orders in skyrim )
and some other regions have issues which i forget at this time..........
is TES really in a state of drama and war everywhere now?
side note...always been a long time fan of the elder scrolls <3

Literally all you have to do is go to www.google.com and search for skyrim alchemy recipes or something of or that nature. Then on top of that, if you have a printer, print out all the recipes....playy skyrim, go adventuring into the wilderness and over the next few hours you'll collect tonsssssss of ingredients. Then when u happen to go back to town, go to the alchemy shop and look at your printed sheet of paper with all the recipes on it. And what I did was just start from the top and unlock all the different recipes for the future purposes.

No console commands for consoles ( a lil hard to type lol xD )
do this, sell game, buy pc version, wait for editor to come out, create a vendor yourself, make the barter set to whatever number you want, say 999999999999
other than that...dont be a pack rat and sell junk, limit yourself, say only pickup items worth atleast 1k atleast, or ignore items you do not use say as a mage, don't pickup swords axes 2handers etc, no hard...iv not really had an issue with breaking the vendors wallets yet, sold tons ( pc version also btw )
