yea spells are noisy and are bright, cannot use them really...well perhaps some illusion ones help...but um..why are you using a light spell to see in the dark, sneaky thieves prefer the dark :D

Was not sure where to put this, minor spoilers for some i guess
Ok so i have a dog follower but not really an actual one atm, he's a talking dog ( won't spoil it )...i have to take him on a quest with me to get a weapon for a guy ( won't say the name lol ) and he is really annoying to have with me as iv not done the quest yet since i'm so far away, will get there eventually...anyways to the point, he barks to damn much, and as a stealth archer/etc i try to sneak and take my shot..he pushes me nonstop and even if i just stand there a lot of the time he pushes me and smiles at me...wtf?
any way to stop this as it's annoying me...
P.S. i do have an option to stop following me but i think he goes back to the location i got him...but need him with me on the quest so that's out of the question

disable Vsync in the .ini file it stops mouse lag and speeds it up....no more console dpi :P
if you need to figure out how to do it...here
Go to your "steam/common apps/skyrim/skyrim" folder and make a backup of "skyrimprefs.ini" then open it, go to the end of the [display] section and add iPresentInterval=0

lol don't worry they just mean you look sick because they do not know you got into a fight with some vampires and got the disease lol....wait 3 days and bam i'm so gonna call you lestat :D

A sword and a shield the only viable option? Really now.
I have an archer/assassin and dragons (so far) are the only thing that are more or less challenging.
Max out overdraw (Archery Perk)
Max out critical shot (Archery Perk)
Get Bullseye (Archery Perk, optional)
Get Deadly Aim (Sneak Perk)
Get some +% Bow damage gear.
All you gotta do is sneak around and shoot people from afar - I have yet to meet anything that gives me trouble, and that's while using a plain ebony bow with iron arrows.
forgot to mention what setting you are playing on as he and i are on mastery...he having trouble i'm not...mastery is easy for me and i do the same as you ><

Skyrim takes place 200 years after oblivion, you were pretty much correct

Hm that's a bummer there are no spell making options in this game...my guess is they didn't add it in due to this being skyrim and the nords hate magic, so it kinda fits not to have much as you could in the previous games....no massive aoe 1 hitter spells for village raiding then :/
-
I just started a Tank, shield and board class. Let me tell you, this is the easiest combination if one wants to level fast. Battles are far less risky, especially if you get overrun.
Easy mode...i see no challenge....and who wants to level up fast in an rpg anyways? o_O
honestly...now that iv gotten farther than the last time i posted, game is not hard enough on master....needs an overhaul mod, gotta wait atleast a year for those atleast though :(
-
magic has always been the most over powered thing in the game series, if you know how to use it lol
just do this since you're having trouble fighting more than 1 mob, make a custom AOE spell and make sure it is as strong as you can make/use it...helps to get your skills up to lol
as for perks i have no idea not glanced at them as i am not playing a mage,
btw not sure if it works in skyrim but in the past games you can lvl up stuff like destruction easy if you make a spell that damages yourself till you're about dead, then switch over to a healing spell and bam 2 skills in 1 for easy skill xp lol illusion is also extremely easy to level up...or it use to be, no idea in this game...
EDIT: alchemy is also extremely easy to lvl up if you get tons of stuff and just spam crafting for potions, those potions can either be sold for money or used i.e. health and magicka since you're having issue's with both
-
nobody pretty sure as they don't respawn lol
-
nope, cause i have yet to get there, still SW of the map :P
-
what about levelling then? Sooner or later it's gonna hit a roof. Isn't part of the fun knowing you still have some growing to do? But when you have reached the maximum level (sixty or eight? I heard all sort of rumors) in the game then what's the point to keep playing? And let's say that you keep killing shop keepers and whatever. Where do they keep coming from? If you start going on a rampage what's to be done with the bodies laying around? If you keep a shopkeeper, what's to be done when you need supplies?
KD
simple...assume you get max level and as you claim there is nothing to do....there will be give it time for addons and xpacs...and lets all not forget the quest mods and landmass mods with hundreds of quests ( these take foreverrrrrrrrrrrrrrr to make though ) and over haul mods that take over a year++ to make....don't worry there will be tons you can do, and i'll bet there will even be slower lvling mods when monster mods and overhauls come out

pretty sure from what iv heard and done myself, the finishing move is based on crits, not health %
want more of them? up your crit % hehe
-
I wonder if anyone has fully finished the game by now... With this I mean the main quest, every side quests possible to have a 100% complete status... Without cheating of course.
from what i read it is impossible to finish this game 100%

I am the same with games as you are, i myself set straight to the hardest it allows me to, and even more just like you i too am duel wielding, here is what i think...
I am only lvl 15 currently, i focus on archery/duel wielding stealth the whole lot etc, at first i was having trouble but honestly now even on master it's not hard really, i kill most enemies quickly due to the increased damage output with 2 weapons, just have to get use to it and remember you have power attacks with each hand, and both at same time which does tons more damage but sucks up tons of fatigue...blocking is not an issue for me anymore as i have learned to evade attacks more often now...only thing that has seemed slightly more harder to kill are 2h warriors, they hit hard but if you evade their attacks due to their attacks being slower, so evade and you will do fine...
btw, i just killed another dragon on master, was a frost dragon in the mountains o_O very fun fight and i didn't die once hehe
-
Been thinking the same thing actually, although i'm currently level 14 almost 15, killed 1 dragon ( first dragon fight at tower ), did some quests, got tons all around the map to do, but been exploring for the most part now, only been to the SW region with falkreith around that area i think it's spelled, and now in the mountains atop the starter village where the game starts....idk seems to fast to lvl though
