the 660 is a budget card however the 660ti is quite a powerhouse. outperforms the 580 in most tests. 660 Ti is a little better, but still suffers compared to the 670, plus the small Memory Interface hurts when doing larger resolutions.

Wouldn't know, i don't like the workshop and only download from the Nexus, will never get steam workshop mods, ever..

Get an Evga gtx 670 FTW 4gb or 2-3...or get some 680's. Don't let anybody trick you and say 2gb is fine, i have seen this for myself and 2gb is NOT enough even for 1080p...and if there is a little wiggle room just think ahead...games always advance, i have seen skyrim eat up over 3gb vram alone at 1080p...

Overclock that cpu around 4.5, see how far you can overclock those video cards, me personally i would have went 670 sli instead as the 660 is a low end 'budget' card. you should be 'ok' but not maxing everything out and .ini edits with other things like NVCP tweaks at 60 fps ( or 120 if you have it ). See how you like though as that is all that matters, is your opinion really...everybody has different levels of acceptance with performance.

190 mods is a lot? wow then i guess i am running insane amount then...but um yea NEVER download that many mods at once or you're asking for a world of annoying pain to get the issues fixed lol.

I read the article about the new warrior that will hunt you down after you hit lvl 81 and is suppose to be really powerful, problem is i have been let down every time a game dev says something is really hard, it's too easy for me...also i should mention i am currently level 119 in skyrim and have tons of mods to make it TONS harder and everything is still challenging for me which i love haha.

4gb for me, skyrim is using over 3gb alone for me, bf3 hits nearly 2gb but will go over when i get my upgrades to go surround.

I am running 238 mods, no issues what so ever, sorry to hear about your issues. i know the pain of troubleshooting issues in these games. :/

WRONG! you can seriously tell the difference on 1080P and above, but not everybody can tell the difference, i can because i am sensitive to it. i currently game at 5760x1080. A few buddies of mine game at 1440 and even 1600 and they can also tell the difference.

I can't really say how it is for me mainly because i never use a horse in Skyrim, i have bought them before but never use them lol. half the time i forget.

Moonpath to Elsweyr and Jobs of Skyrim has a slight conflict, nothing big..in the Inn that moonpath is placed with the carriage there is a table blocking the way and you have to type TCL to get past it, can't jump and crouch over it or anything..so i removed the jobs mod. Immersive HUD i love but i had to disable because the last version doesn't act right for me anymore. i would love to have it back on but i am waiting for a new version. I use climates of tamriel but not realistic lighting, i am not 100% sure but i think you cannot use both? don't trust me on this though.

On this current character i have 101 hours played, currently level 103 with 302 locations discovered and i have yet to start dawnguard. As for the main quest i have only done about half and stopped it, will get back to it in like another 100 hours or so lol.

Hello and welcome! I have never seen a mod like this for these games but i would like the idea of it as i myself am left handed but the weird thing is i cannot use my left hand on my mouse...it's just too weird and hard to try it, i was raised with my right hand on the mouse and left hand on keyboard lol, some of my left handed friends think it is weird and they can't seem to do it but i can... Hell my naga mouse would make it impossible for me to use with my left hand. xD But yea..i would like to try a mod out where i use my left hand as weapon and right as shield.. :)

Does yours work fine? mine is broken and it makes my attacks very slow, i cannot even use it because of this factor! Oh it works lol. Several dragons have been destroyed by an ebony axe moving veeery fast. Are you fully up to date? That's why then, didn't notice there was a newer version i am on 0.99.19. >.<

I think many of us are a bit guilty of that. Dragon riding didn't even register the first time I watched the trailer, I was too busy pausing to look at the giant mushrooms, Redoran stuff and the netch... Ald Ruhn was always my favorite city and most of my Morrowind characters ended up with House Redoran, too. House Hlaalu was suitably sleazy for my vampire assassin, though :) Lol i was also pausing and looking at everything each time i watched the video ( don't ask how many times i hit play xD ) Also am i the only one that is getting the itch to start playing again because of all this talk? if i do end up playing it soon, i won't even get around to actually playing for like 2 weeks due to hunting down my old mods i loved so much ( hard drive died and lost everything ) D:

I have yet to play a stealthly thief since i came back to Skyrim but when i do i shall return and post lol. Btw anybody miss the old Morrowind days traveling to Vivec and breaking into the vaults? i loved doing that! i wish something like that would return!

Easy, start leveling up other skills, unless you're like me and HATE jack of all trades types and refuse to join all guilds and level all skills, then get Skyre and the uncapper ( and other things too ) i just defeated my first Aspect of Alduin and earned lvl 89. Some of my skills are 130+ and 3 are 200+ at the moment, i am a warrior that favors mace/shield combo has a fondness for longbows, and knows simple healing knowledge. I have yet to barely start the main quest ( have yet to get my last word for Unrelenting force. Not even started Dawnguard yet, just been out exploring and doing side quests along with a few Companion quests/daedric quests

You can and will feel the difference, but for an rpg i don't really see the need for it. Now if i were to load up an fps for instance...then i would drastically feel the difference.

For Skyrim i would say there is no need for 120hz screens unless you wanted to do 3d, i'd rather have 2560x1440 monitors. The Catleap monitors for instance are really good. these are S-IPS i won't go into great detail on everything you can search that yourself. :P Out of the ones you listed i would say S27A850D.

Everybody is different but the fact is the price range to max out syrim and keep it say..60 fps constant or the majority of the time is subjective. Resolution comes into play, how many monitors? Surround/Eyefinity? say 5760x1080? that is 3x 1920x1080 monitors to play... single 2560x1440 or 2560x1600 ? Graphic mods like 2k textures and others plus enb's? yea....they get demanding on certain hardware and resolutions, plus the VRAM...good note to go by is 2gb vram for 1080p 4gb for anything larger like the others i listed, even more so for surround/eyefinity ( trust me! ) Single video card? or Sli/xfire? overclocking the cpu/video card/ram can help too if you're into that stuff. which it is addicting btw lol. i can keep going on but i am busy with other things atm. P.S. when building rigs. Budget build = AMD Performance builds = Intel You get what you pay for.
