  1. Everything is up and running great. umm.....except for the every menu in the game is now WAY too big to be useable. Default settings take me to a (4:3 or 5:4) aspect ratio and there are no resolution options. I can tick the "show all resolutions" option, set the aspect ratio to 16:9, and resolution options will allow 1920x1080, But that just gets me the same thing on all 3 monitors. The default settings look very nice in game, but the huge menus are a real bummer. Even the "Skills" screen is so big that I couldn't tell you what my heath, stamina, or magicka numbers are. :( Any ideas?

I read about this issue from others, it's a bug or something with the game, not sure if some others have fixed it or not but my guess is to wait until the game comes out with a patch for it. other games work fin as they should though!

P.S. anybody heard anything yet on a 1.5 patch?

  2. Did you install with workshop or nmm or do it by hand?

also since you said you have tons of conflicts there are ways to fix this and get things working silky smooth, unless you're on the workshop then i'm not sure they work, wouldn't know as i myself never and will never use the workshop.

  3. This sounds like a really good idea.

I for one loved how the dungeons, caves, Dwemer ruins, and Daedric ruins looked in Morrowind.

It does bother me that everything is almost the same since Oblivion. if you do work on this i hope it does get a decent audience.

So long story short, you have my support.

" Compatibility with the HD DLC: If you want to use the HD DLC and custom made texture packs you should do the following. This mini guide was provided by Caliente. Thanks to you!

    He wrote this:

    "1) Find your skyrim.ini file

    - for Windows 7 users, it will be in My Documents/My Games/Skyrim/skyrim.ini.

    - for others, it will be in Skyrim/Data/Skyrim.ini.

    2) Open the file and search for sResourceArchiveList

    3) Edit the line after that to add the values and save the file:

    HighResTexturePack01.bsa, HighResTexturePack02.bsa someplace after "Skyrim - Textures.bsa".

The line should be something very similar to:

    sResourceArchiveList=Skyrim - Misc.bsa, Skyrim - Shaders.bsa, Skyrim - Textures.bsa, HighResTexturePack01.bsa, HighResTexturePack02.bsa, Skyrim - Interface.bsa, Skyrim - Animations.bsa, Skyrim - Meshes.bsa, Skyrim - Sounds.bsa

Make extra sure you have commas after all the file names, or Skyrim will quietly crash.

    4) When loading the game in the launcher, choose "Data Files" and uncheck the two high-res texture packs. Don't worry, they'll still work in game."

You may ask yourself whats the difference between my mod and the HD DLC from Bethesda.

Click here for a comparison shot.

This shot was made with the HD DLC and the FULL version Skyrim HD 2K.

The Lite version's architecture is the same resolution as the HD DLC from Bethesda, the rest is 2x higher. "

    Straight from the link.

  5. I don't even have the mod, but I know what the problem is anyway, since I read what it said on the mod's page a few days ago.

If you start attacking someone, then you'll get bounty, but if you just wait till someone attacks you, then you're free to kill without bounty.

It also says it in my post above lol, i knew what it was right away also. :)

  6. Straight from the description itself

    " WHAT TO EXPECT

WARZONES : CIVIL UNREST adds 100s of really pissed NPCs, new SCENERY, new BATTLEFIELDS and new BOSS-LIKE characters.

Your reputation with the factions WILL suffer if you start killing indiscriminately - or if your aim happens to suck.

Be careful your FOLLOWER/COMPANION doesn't get some friendly folks in the crossfire. While you're at it, be sure to do the same.

If you are unfriendly with IMPERIALS, then you're going to get attacked by them. That simple.

The inclusion of these battles may change any number of outcomes within the game. Save often. "

  7. This would be neat to have, but in the mean time i'll either stick to planning out my perks for certain builds or i'll use the console, i have nothing against it as i use it a lot but not for cheating ( every now and then maybe, just for fun ) mainly for tcl if i get stuck or tfc 1 for screenshots and tm also.

P.S. this totally reminded me of this Dragon Age: Origins mod i had that did the same thing.

    Here's the link.

  8. Pros.

    FIre - Damages health

Adds DoT ( Damage over time )

    Lowest magicka cost

Perk special effect causes targets to flee if their health is low (under 20%).

Frost - Damages health and stamina

Slows the enemy movement speed ( great for fast melee fighters )

Perk special effect paralyzes targets if their health is low (under 20%).

Lighting - Damages health and Magicka

    Great against other mages

    Fastest travel time

Perk special effect allows Shock spells to disintegrate targets if their health is low (under 15%).

    Cons.

    Fire - mediocre damage

    Slowest travel time

Not very well against fire resisted enemies

    Frost - Weakest damage

    Mediocre travel time

Not very well against frost resisted enemies

    Lighting -

    Highest magicka cost

Not very well against Lighting resisted enemies

Also you should let us know if you choose to spend a lot of points into enchanting, the way i heard it is if you go to 100 you can cheat and cast anything with no magicka cost...if you don't want to cheat i would avoid this.

  9. Sounds like you have a crappy computer, do yourself a favor and save up enough to build atleast a decent rig.

if that's not an option or you're to cheap to do so ( i know a few friends like this )

    then do the following,

    Lower your resolution

tweak your ini to lower more settings or even force things off

lower all your settings to the lowest possible setting

turn off all advanced settings and draw distance

remove all mods that will lower your fps ( this includes ENB Series and textures you got from mods )

to be honest playing at very crappy settings with everything off is better than everything looking good and getting below 20 fps...
