  1. Thanks for the help ill give it a try :)
  2. Hi guys n gals, im new to modding and seem to have a few problems with re-texturing. The main problem is that when ive made a texture i cant get the normal map quite right, instead of the light reacting realisticly it just shines over all the surface of say a wall for instance. im looking for some advice or a link to a good tutorial that can explain this for me. Thanx to anyone who has the time to help.
  3. Hi guys im trying to make a house mod using reznods marble mannequins but when i use the cs to place them they show up, however when its loaded in game the mannequins are not there. Sometimes they are stacked at a door or are just absent.please help me.
  4. thats weird all the buyable homes have pc friendly containers have you changed any of them in the constructionsite. one fix might be to load up the cs then look out all the containers and check that they are pc friendly
  5. have you tried uninstalling the mod then putting it back on. looks like a problem i had once that worked for me
  6. i once came across two imp legion forresters locked in a battle with each other. both were firing arrow and dodging each others didnt see who won i got bored watching
  7. if you post screenshots of this maybe more people could help you. you can do this by editing the oblivion .ini file in the my games directory and changing the line ballowscreenshot=0 to ballowscreenshot=1
  8. why do you want to open one? do you mean use it in you're game
  9. im creating a new house mod and struggling with the oh so important implementation of lighting my house. If anyone can offer any help, tips, or advice i would be in such debt thankx just some lighting so that its not too dull inside possibly like rosethorn hall in the game
  10. thanx ill give that a try although im sure its just the comp spec im using i feel i may have to upgrade to a desktop to get the best outta this game
  11. The tutorial you gave me for tes alliance was great within half an hour i had nearly finished my first house thanx. I may even post it when im finished if its reasonably good
  12. you will need to download an unpacking program like win rar. after that its jst a case of downloading the mod and unpacking it most mods can be manually installed by drag and drop method.Easy way to do this is create a desktop shortcut to your oblivion data folder then drag and drop esp textures and meshes into it.Then use the oblivion launcher and select data files place a check next to the mods you want to use hit ok then launch the game.Although this method is crude it works for me its a good idea to download obmm from the nexus as it really helps in more ways than i can explain.Good luck from noob to noob
