  1. I'm very grateful this site exist. Months ago I asked in Steam if anyone could make Spike great again, like in the originals. But nobody came... except one soul that suggested me to play the original game in an emulator. Can I ask, can someone make Spike difficult and with more health? Even more, change the skin and make him bigger? That alone is something that was missing in the new trilogy, from my perspective. I hope that someone can read my message.

I was just about to make a post about that. Someone should make a mod that makes Spike to how he was in the original.

  2. I've read about how in the book Eaters of the Dead, The wendol were a remnant population of neanderthals rather than an isolated human tribe like in it's movie adaptation The 13th Warrior. It got me thinking, If someone were to make a playable neanderthal race as a mod in skyrim, I think that would be pretty cool. There could be a cannibalistic enemy faction based on the wendol from the book and movie and the udam from far cry primal and more friendlier tribes who don't eat people and more civilized ones who'd pretty much be the traditional fantasy dwarves.(I've been playing with the idea of fantasy dwarves being even shorter and stockier descendants of neanderthals but that's a whole other topic.) If anyone's willing to put the effort into it. I would really like the neanderthals to be as accurate to real world neanderthals as much as possible. They're short,Rather stocky and robust and had very dense bone and muscle (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Neanderthal https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Neanderthal_anatomy) Possibly a custom skeleton would also go well with this mod if it gets made.

  3. I would actually like the next elder scrolls to break the mold for once and continue the Dovahkiin's story and have him/her resume his/her crusade against the thalmor, And also have Serana as a companion again.(My Dovahkiin also has a bone to pick with Molag Bal which would make an epic game) And also future TES games should be able to read past saves of past games(i like it when rpg games make my choices MATTER)

There is a reason Bethesda games rarely bring up previous protagonists, I'd say keep up with that and NOT include the Lone Wanderer because most of the time (skyrim mods Moon and Star and Gray Cowl of Nocturnal are two good examples) it ends up with the player feeling like a person's character is being shoved down their throats.

At best just leave hints and references but nothing concrete like personality, gender, etc etc. It's not a good idea.

Or don't. Not only is he incorrect about a lot of things lore-wise like the BoS confiscating tech (they don't except one not-canon ending for Fallout 1 and non-canon endings for New Vegas) but then dissolves into trying to work in the really terrible "SARAH WAS ASSASSINATED BUT ESCAPED!" conspiracy theory that Lyons fans have been pushing without any actual evidence to back up the claim

The guy's ideas are pretty bad.

At least the post TRIES to explain Sarah's absence in FO4 rather than the BS "Oh, Sarah the very skilled and experienced soldier who have survived fight super mutants for years got killed all of the sudden but we're not gonna go into anymore detail about that and after which, The Eastern BOS went from being the reasonable and rational guys they were in FO3 to reverting back into the xenophobic a-holes they once were again."

Yes, because as everyone knows that if you survive one or two battles you're instantly invincible and can never be killed. /sarcasm

The reasoning is fine, soldiers die all the time in war. Take World War 2, there are numerous cases of soldiers that died near the end of the war when they began at the start of the war, this is how reality works soldiers are always fighting to live and they don't always make it. It doesn't matter how experienced you are if you're fighting in a war or any large scale armed conflict there is a likelihood that you can die.

Sarah dying in a fight with super mutants isn't outlandish and it's still better then the crap that guy wrote.

Except the terminal entries doesn't go into anymore detail about her death, Just "Oh, She simply died battle" Not Suspicious at all...

Oh my god, a terminal entry that is a unfinished biography about Arthur Maxson didn't mention more about Sarah! It's clearly a conspiracy orchestrated by the alien chemtrails and it was plotted at the Dallas Airport!!!!! It all makes sense!

Who cares if the terminal didn't describe her death in details, she died in a battle which happens, all the damn time in armed conflicts.

It doesn't change the fact that Sarah's death was simply part of lazy writing.

Just because you don't like it =/= lazy writing

It's one of multiple examples of bethesda's lazy writing.

  10. I've been sitting on the idea of making a proper Snow Elf settlement, because, like you, I think Bethesda really dropped the ball when it game to the Vale. These dweebs make half a Snow Elf architecture kit and they don't even make any good explorable places with that architecture? They make a whole new race and give you all of two characters to meet from that race? Nonsense is what it is.

But I will say that I actually like the idea of the Vale being very far out of the way. It's supposed to have been one of the few remaining refuges of a race that was actively hunted down over the course of centuries. It could only have survived as long as it did by being too difficult for Atmorans to reach, and indeed, to even be within the realm of human knowledge--after all, it's the Forgotten Vale, the one so obscure it took three Elder Scrolls to find it. I'd rather have the Vale be something like Solstheim; out of the way, yes, and maybe not accessible until a certain point in your game, but with enough content that it's actually worth exploring again and again once you find it.

Anyway, I'd be interested in comparing notes and seeing if we can't help each other develop an expansion we both like. Something definitely needs to be done about this weaksauce worldspace, but it's not something you or I could tackle alone. Right now I'm at the "assessment" stage of my own plans and all I can say is that to get the SERuin kit working, it's going to take a modeller who is also a saint.

I wonder how much money i have pay a modeler for him/her to work on the SERuin kit. Because i'm willing to pay to see this mod to see the light of day.

Here's post that some that i think could help as inspiration http://lejacquelope.tumblr.com/post/134267561386/spoilers-fallout-4s-plot-dropped-the-ball

    Right the F on.

That's exactly how I feel about the BoS this time around.

You could toss a nod to FO:T and call the traditionalists/traitors the Circle of Steel.

 That post was what i think really should've been an option in FO4.
