Why do I need FNIS? doesn't that only change the behavior? when I try to install 4.6 it comes up with a blocking issue. I try to download the prerequisistes, they won't install. Bummer.

Ok so this is the first time I've posted in this forum after downloading mods for 4 years. Skyrim on my PC is not running certain mods that I try to download, like armor replacers and whatnot. I have not had this sort of problem before I downloaded SKSE from Steam. I try to download things to improve physics and graphics and they don't work. They don't show up in my data files on the start screen or in game. I tried removing steam's SKSE and it hasn't changed anything. I'm downloading into the usual /data folder. Oh btw nexus mod manager has never worked for me in 8 or before. I try to download all the updates they tell me to, it still doesn't work. I have LOOT and LOOT doesn't detect most new things I install SkyUI, timing is everything and skyrim cloaks still installs. Thanks for the help in advance for any advice!
