  1. Been having this problem. Viewed SkryimPrefs.ini in ModOrganizer and they were blank. Had added the "bfull Screen=1" in my docs folder version. So I copied and pasted the entire SkyrimPrefs.ini from my Docs folder into the ModOrganizer SkyrimPrefs.ini. Worked like a charm. And fixed my Xbox Controller issue at the same time. Thanks!
  2. I was having the same problem, if anyone finds this issue in a search 4 years later. Anyhow, I deleted my skyrim.ini and skyrimpref.ini files, started the game up in Steam so it could create new ones, and was all set. All of the lagging scripts and actions that I had exited out of went off in rapid fire when I reloaded and everything works like a charm now.
  3. Have Skyrim, purchased through Steam. Was running fine. Using MMO, I was made to create an Overwrite Mod. While cleaning out some old Mods I no longer use I wasn't thinking and deleted the Overwrite Mod. This, in turn, deleted my Update.esp. I'm not enough of a techie to understand why or how that happened. Anyhow, following the advice here I poked around a bit and did what a few recommended - verified integrity of game cache. It informed me that files were missing and downloaded them, fixing my problem. To do this, right click on Skyrim in your games list in your Steam homepage. Click on Properties. Click on Verify Integrity of Game Cache. Let it do it's thing.
