I own Skyrim for Xbox 360 and have seen all the people who have ported mods over with their saves from the pc game. I would like to do the same, only problem being I do not own a copy of Skyrim for PC as my computer cannot run it. I would just like to know is there any LEGAL way of doing it? Thanks

I would love it if there was a fight scene on the roof á la Red Dead Revolver, with bits where you have to jump and duck to avoid objects. Though I appreciate how hard that would be to script.

Best Gun In Fallout: New Vegas?
SHOCKW4VE replied to kieranbhoy's topic in Fallout New Vegas's Discussion
Favourite: Plasma Defender: Light, cheap enought to be picked up early, ammo is in abundance, plenty in a clip and packs a punch - I don't know many guns, let alone pistols that can pick off a Deathclaw in three shots I'm also partial to the All-American, and as for long-range, I find the AMR hard to beat. Melee-wise, I like the chainsaw. With regards to crowd-control, the 10mm SMG never fails to kill lots of things very quickly. -
Project Nevada - Equipment adds a few armors and gives them to sensible factions in the gam e.g. the Boomers are given Airforce T-57c Power armour

I don't run with Shrapnel but I have the full Project Nevada package and Fook installed an there are no conflicts as of yet - besides one which reduces the amount of NPCs in the Brotherhood bunker, but I think that is a fault of my messings-around in the GECK.

Can't even open GECK
SHOCKW4VE replied to SHOCKW4VE's topic in Fallout New Vegas's Mod Troubleshooting
Thanks for the help turned out that I did have the wrong GECK installed but I still had the same problems. However, I managed to fix it by opening SSCE5432.dll, libvorbisfile.dll and libvorbis.dll with the GECK -
I recently downloaded the GECK from the link on the GECK wiki, installed fine but when I go to run the application I am told that libvorbisfile.dll or SSCE5432.dll aren't on my computer, even though they are (I know as I have searched for them and found them in the Steamapps\Fallout new vegas and bethsoft\fallout 3 files respectively) Any Idea what the problem could be?

Thanks FavoredSoul, that's what I meant, I'm sorry if my comment was misinterpreted in any way

Oh My Papa is the quest in which you are given the option to create an alliance between the NCR and the Khans. However, I got to the stage where I have to talk to Colonel Moore, and the quest marker points me to her office, but she is nowhere to be found, and I cannot complete the quest. Is this something that can be easily fixed or will I just have to grunt and bear it? Any help appreciated.

Post on the Mod Requests page and I'm sure one of the great people on the Nexus will take care of that.

Looking to recruit modders for Massive Project

Not particularly experienced in any of the said fields but would be more than happy to help in any way possible -
Personally, I think that the best ending is the Independent New Vegas - not Yes Man - ending because, and I think this has been overlooked an awful lot in this thread, it is the PEOPLE's choice. The people of New Vegas could decide their fate like a true democracy, electing a leader THEY want. They could amalgamate useful factions and give them a good place in an honest society e.g. the Followers could be recruited as a kind of health service (the NHS as I hail from Britain)and a better society could be built that would last for many years. However, with this most people are missing the point regarding longevity. Every kind of government is destined to fail at some point, and the different needs of different people require different governments. Yes democracy is corrupt, but communism is not good for growth and dictatorship is unfair on all bar one. The people of New Vegas could work together to achieve a solution that works for THEM. It must be remembered that after the Battle of Hoover Dam 2, their would be people and resources left by the defeated NCR and Legion for use by the new controlling faction. The Mojave-based citizens of the NCR and the slaves of the Legion would be offered a place in New Vegas. The monies of the destroyed faction could be put into improving facilities and renovating areas such as Outer New Vegas, therefore attracting new residents. Am now thinking about a mod concerning this topic where the player would be able to create their own post-battle society. No idea how it could be done though

Post Your Ideas For Quest Mods
SHOCKW4VE replied to simplywayne90's topic in Fallout New Vegas's Discussion
Quest Title: Kill Pete A quest mod based on the Kill Bill Movies It could possibly be used as an alternative start to the game. It would start of with a (seemingly) simple quest in Goodsprings where you have to retrieve something(valuable)for Easy Pete in return for a share of the spoils. It turn out to be booby-trapped or well locked and after the player gets it, Easy Pete turns up with his cohorts, after which a scripted event involving the player being badly injured by the Pete's Crew occurs. The screen fades to black. The player then wakes up after a coma to the sight of who else but Doc Mitchell, with no memory of the events bar one image of their attackers. The usual features of the game start- such as the skill selection and facial 'reconstruction'- will be present. Then the option to do the usual tutorial with Sunny Smiles in given, after which the player begins a quest to kill Pete and his associates one by one. Each assassination would require a certain item, such as the 'Japanese steel' for killing O-ren Ishii More later as I have to go -
Booted up New Vegas today after loading some new mods and, as I opened the PIP-Boy, I could see nothing but my hand( as I was using the Readius mod.) Assuming it was this conflicting with another mod, I exited and disabled it in FoMM. However, I booted up again to find myself staring at my own arm. Mods I loaded today are Tailor Maid and Tactical Combat gear - not to be confused with High Desert tactical. Any ideas on the problem and how to fix it?
