  1. So, anybody have any suggestions to remedy having archive invalidation on and get my meshes working again, or am I SOL?
  2. UPDATE! Turning off Archive Invalidation without Boone as a companion let me enter McCarrin, though now none of my meshe's for the Classic Fallout Weapons Mod are loading. Absolutely none. The guns are there, hence the textures mus work, but there's no colors, or messed up ones, and when I hit any lighted area? Whoooo boy. :-( This sucks.
  3. lol, sometimes I wish. Doesn't help I'm iusing bad, weak strengthed, public wifi. I found, however (and need to update my post with this) that turning off archive invalidation and sending Boone to Novac let me enter McCarin, however now most of my modded gun textures wont load. :-( EDIT: Make that the meshes. They load completely messed up, weird colors, etc. UGH!
  4. What kept making it crash? I'm having a very similar problem. Also, the suggestion above I may try. Just leary to reinstall everything, considering it took me forever just to patch it, and that was with good net
  5. Okay, simply put....I downloaded the Classic Fallout Weapons Mod, added it, and for some reason something is wrong with it. The textures are there, but the mesh's arent, and many of the guns have the multi-colored pixelated effect going on. Well, it wasn't too much of a problem, but NOW, after downloading a few more mods, I CANNOT get into Camp McCarrin. I'm unsure what mod, or mods, are causing the poblem, I just know that before I modded it, and actually until I downloaded the CFM mod, I COULD go into McCarin. I first discovered this problem when traveling with Victoria and getting her side quest done, choosing the Vault 22 plant tech option, and killing two birds with one stone. At that point, it would NOT let me enter with Vicky. I had to finish her quest and dismiss her before I could even begin to enter and finish the plant tech quest. Once she was dismissed, it DID let me in, WITH all mods activated. Once I was done with her, I let her go, and picked my ole pal, Boone, back up, and now, whether I dismiss him or not, it simply crashes to desktop when I enter McCarin. Occasionally it even crashes if I quick travel there, or anywhere close to there (Like the El Rey). Soooo, I'm genuinely confused, and this is ruining one of my favorite games. Can anybody help? Please? Here's my load order. Incidentally, I'm running NYSE and FOMM as the launcher.   7. Okay, well that at least explains FOMM. And thank you for the much needed information, I will defiantly have to do that. Now, the main issue remains, however. I've installed them manually, doing the usual instructions (unzip into the \data\ folder of FMV, and still nada. I've uninstalled and reinstalled all of my mods twice now. Still the same big red box with a big white exclamation point. Looking through the forum archives, about six or seven pages back, I read something about that possibly being a missing texture, and as such to reset "archive invalidation"? Does that sound right at all? Now, I DID make sure to check if the mods themselves came with textures and meshes, and they did, so that defiantly wasn't the issue. For some reason, they just wont install right, or when I do install those two, it's only those two that have the issues.

  9. Okay, check that, it actually says that it needs a script to work, then asks if I'd like to continue anyway. What script is it talking about, and where would I get it?
  10. I'm relatively new to the modding community, and as such I'm probably going to be asking an extremely newbish question, however I did look around first. I downloaded FOMM for FMV and FM3, and it's working wonderfully. However when I went to download and install my mods: 005 Tactical SMG by FrankFamily, and the Thumper Auto Shotgun by LoStone1993, they don't work correctly. Instead of the weapon being there, a giant red square with an exclamation point is. I figure this must be a texture problem, however FOMM DID mention that they both needed a script to run that apparently I didnt have, which I told it to download. And still....nothing. Any help on this issue would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.
