  1. Is there a mod that changes the voice of the Nord player character to sound older? I have wrinkles and a beard yet I sound like an 18-year-old.

I'd even be satisfied with importing the voice from Oblivion. It'd be much more suiting.

  2. Reminds me of the Settler mod for Fallout 3. When you make camp/settle, a blip on the map is placed so you can fast travel instantly there. There could be a sort of "camping set" that would do the same thing, allow you to fast travel anywhere you put down the marker.
  3. Generally, I want something like what I hear the Arcane Transmutor in RoM does: it transfers the stats of one item to another. For example, you could be able to forge Dragon armor but (in your opinion) it looks SO STUPID. What you wish you could wear is your manly iron helmet and fur armor. Well, what this mod would do is allow to transfer the defense given state from one armor piece (Daedric helmet) to another piece (Iron helmet).

The details would have to be worked out of course, like whether or not heavy armor should or should not be stat-transferable to light armor or if the items weight should change as well, but I think that should be left to the modder to decide.

  4. You see, people. This is why we make multiple accounts so we don't have to pick just one side. Although I might as well put in my two cents.

I have a Nord who is siding with the Stormcloaks and an Imperial siding with the Imperials (I AM SO ORIGINAL AND CRAFTY)

Whether or not the Stormcloaks can beat the Thalmor on their own is debatable, but I think Hammerfell provides a good example of a single province standing on its own two feet. Just because the Empire has more land, doesn't necessarily mean it has a more lethal army.

You mean that I often counter the argument that the Stormcloaks are WII Germany, when such a comparison has no basis in reality? I find the comparison ridiculous because it has no merit, and I don't see why it shouldn't be addressed.

Yeah, I don't get that. If anyone is WW2 Germany it's the Thalmor Dominion, with Valenwood being Austria and Hammerfell being abandoned Poland.

  5. What I did first was that I uninstalled my game, then did a fresh reinstallation, and decided to incorporate only the mods I really enjoyed or found useful. Then, I went into my savegame folder, and removed all but my 5-6 most recent gamesaves along with all the autosaves and quicksaves present.

    COMIC SAAAAAAANNS!!

But that does sound like a really nice fix. I'll try reinstalling my game as a last resort since it takes a while for me.

  6. The best Call of Duty was Finest Hour. I loved the Russian sniping mission.

Call of Duty 2 and 3 were OK for me.

Call of Duty 4 completely blew me away.

If you think the campaign of World at War was good, try playing it with the music turned OFF. It gets boring fast.

Modern Warfare 2 wasn't very memorable and I didn't like Infinity Ward's declaration of "authenticity over realism" where you saw insane things like a Riot shield being a viable military weapon, AK-47 being unlocked for multiplayer at the very last rank, despite it being one of the most prolific guns in the world, and an ending that would make Halo 2 blush.

I actually liked Black Ops. It was like Treyarch gathered 'round and said "Alright, we know no one is going to take us seriously, so let's forget about pretending we are. Let's put as much insane, badass crap as can and hope for the best." After all, imagine telling your friends that in the first level you assassinated Fidel Castro (not really), and then at the end of level 2 you were riding a MOTORCYCLE TO FREEDOM. Black Ops is about as serious as a movie that makes fun of itself, and that's what makes it enjoyable.

Modern Warfare 3 was unbelievably watered down and easy. You could beat the game in less than 6.5 hours on Hardened. Major changes were few and far between. The game felt like a $60 map pack.

  7. Companions are generally dull. They fight for you, hold your stuff, and sometimes say something, but not much else. Well, what if there was a mod that added more things your follower can do. There could be a chat selection that could trigger it like:

I need you to do something

    BROFIST!

    Let's trade.

    It's time to part ways.

    You'd select brofist and then:

Just that little celebration would make having a companion so much more worthwhile. Clear a dungeon? Brofist. Complete a quest? Brofist. Defeat a dragon? Brofist.

  8. Perhaps a small add to both stamina and health. like 20 to both? or maybe 30 to stamina 20 to health. i don't know but that does sound like a neat idea.

Well, that would be entirely up to the modder. I'd say 10 health and 20 stamina would be fair if you needed to have both. Of course, there could e different types (quick, deep tissue, etc.) that would give different bonuses for different costs.

  9. One thing I'm getting tired of in these type of threads is people implying that those of us who play Female characters don't have girlfriends and/or have never had sex in our lives.

Far from it, and I'm tired of it getting implied.

    >implying you don't like implications
